  1. I get the same feeling from Piers Morgan as I do from Bill Maher. They are for the most part leftwing buffoons, but both have their moments of clarity and drop a MOAB right on target.

    1. I think the blind squirrel comes into its own in both their cases. Just because someone whose views and acts are generally repellent happens to get something right, I’m not going to treat them like the prodigal son.

I’ll still keep my distance, and not trust them any farther than I could throw an orca, thank you very much.

    2. Bill Maher can at least at times be funny and entertaining. Morgan is just a bully. His obsession with Markle is downright creepy.

  2. Lost me with “your little book”. Won’t get me back. I can do my own takedowns of Markel Maiden.

  3. An interesting achievement of the “O, H & M” interview.

There is no love lost between Piers Morgan and Jeremy Clarkson. Yet on this they’re on the same song sheet

  4. Apparently Morgan’s “crime” is that he doesn’t believe she was suicidal?

I don’t, but even people who keep up with these fools can’t seriously believe she was actually suicidal?

It’s a dramatic statement for unearned sympathy, no one is supposed to actually believe it to be true. But he’s not allowed to say that because she’s supposed to be black?

Truly this is a ridiculous waste of time. But the ultra-privileged are fighting a culture war against us and this too is one of the ‘battlefields’ unfortunately, I hope they go down in flames and take that grotesque Oprah with them.

    1. “But he’s not allowed to say that because she’s supposed to be black?”

      He’s allowed to say it.

People are allowed to complain about what he said.

His employer, ITV, is allowed to demand that he issue an apology for actions he took while under their employ that they perceive as having damaged their brand beyond whatever threshold they deem fit.

He is allowed to refuse to do so, and to quit his job instead.

He is also allowed to publicly declare afterwards that he has heroically “fallen on his sword” in the name of free speech. He hasn’t, because his right to free speech has never been under threat, but he is allowed to say so, again precisely because his right to free speech remains entirely intact.

I do agree that this whole fiasco is “a ridiculous waste of time.”

    2. Philanthropist / ““But he’s not allowed to say that because she’s supposed to be black?”

She may have a black dad but her skin isn’t even brown let alone black. I’ve seen pictures of Justin Trudeau when he was young and he was much blacker than Meghan.

      1. Actually her father is white; it’s her mother who is a “person of colour” and even she has white ancestors.

    3. “I don’t, but even people who keep up with these fools can’t seriously believe she was actually suicidal? ”

People who are bullied are sometimes suicidal…the bullies themselves, not so much. She’s an arrogant, self-centered brat who didn’t get her way, not a victim.

“these fools can’t seriously believe she was actually suicidal?”

by definition, fools can believe pretty much anything… flat earth,
deadly cow farts… free government heroin for junkies.

it stretches credulity that an uber-narcissist like megxit would
ever harm herself. she wouldn’t want to get blood on that
$5000 dress. but lefties jump to her defense.

the same folk that think george floyd is an angel. yup, the
guy who held a pregnant woman hostage during a drug
    fuelled home invasion.

    go figure.

  6. See, I knew it all along.
If you aspire to play banjo, and are a real bluegrass boy, you may end up liking Andy Ngo.
But, if you are the banjo goof in the mediocre Mumford band, you throw Andy and Jordan onto the campfire that you should have thrown your claw hammered banjo onto, you goofy little millennial, amateurish banjo player.

  7. As a first generation Canadian, British heritage I’ve lived and breathed the royal family thru my parents most of my life. God bless the Queen ! May she live longer than Charles the idjit

  8. Queen is making a mistake trying to cool these two down. Best defense – ignore. The Brits love the Royals – Harry (bowed out of the Royals) and Me Again ( never Royal or ever will be) nobody thats anybody cares about them.
Me Agains problem was and is – that SHE is the most important thing on the planet. Thats why she couldnt abide being far down the Royal pecking ladder. Boo hoo!

  9. Holy’s Cow I have always hated that band.

    There’s no accounting for some people’s taste…

  10. Morgan is an arrogant egotistical bully who has a track record of shouting down others, angling for that ‘gotcha’ moment rather than trying to get to the truth or being guilty and never apologising: the faked Sunday Mirror pictures showing British soldiers in Iraq torturing prisoners, the illegal phone hacking scandal, the picture of him dressed in nazi uniform, shouting at people for not social distancing then condoning his son (in fact saying how proud he was of him) for attending a burn, loot ,murder protest in London, telling everyone to stay at home then jetting of to Antigua over Christmas.
Whether he is right or wrong over the Markle stuff is irrelevant – he was given a dose of his own treatment and he couldn’t hack it so flounced off the set. I hope we never see or hear of the POS again (apologies for the profanity and it is one I personally detest, but just sometimes…).

  11. If he really was standing up for what he believed in, admiration for his courage might be appropriate . But ever since his ill fated attempts at friendship were brushed off by the duchess he has spent his time vindictively dissing the duchess at every opportunity. He’s an unpleasant loud mouth boor who used his media presence to get even.
