The key statement in the interview with Alex Berenson about vaccines is this: “The doctors needed to be perceived to be doing something, rather than nothing”. It is the same with the politicians. Since government wants to be perceived as your friend (which it is not), it has to be seen doing something, whatever it is, logical or illogical, right or wrong, it doesn’t matter – just do something, make some noise.

That is not a rational, measured response – it is self preservation. And the second phase that goes hand in hand with the first is: “Do what everybody else is doing, lest you be perceived as not being part of the narrative.” – the woke herd response. Again, not rational, nor measured.

And the third phase is “When criticized, double down until the crisis passes” lest you have to admit that you were wrong. We are in that phase right now. And it is made worse because the goal all along was dictatorship – total cowing and control of the population.

  1. Well … for better or for worse … I received my 1st injection of the Pfizer ChiCom vaccine on Saturday at the Oakland Coliseum. I drove through an automotive version of a Disney ride line with a 40minute wait time … was injected by a Forest Service Employee! after being asked if I were pregnant or breastfeeding (when I hesitated to answer, the woman told me I MUST give her an answer) … received my vaccine and sent into a timed queue waiting 15min. for any adverse affects before being allowed to drive off. There were probably 250 National Guardspeople in uniform directing traffic (I guess Nancy could spare a few of her personal defense force) and the whole operation ran smoothly.

    On Friday, I received a TEXT message from CVS indicating that vaccinations were available at my local CVS where I buy ALL my medications. I responded and was told that I did not meet their eligibility requirements … despite being 65yo and having an underlying medical condition. Huh? I guess I’m not an “essential” worker. Then, my wife discovered that new appointments were being released via “My Turn” CA. (We had been trying multiple times all week long). She logged on and signed me up. It should be noted that my Sat. appointment INCLUDES a return appointment (in March) for my second injection.

    So far … no ill effects. I don’t even have any soreness at the injection site. I came home and installed 3 more new windows in my remodel. No issues whatsoever. Did the government implant a homing device? Will my RNA get scrambled and start growing neck tumors? I seriously doubt it. I guess we shall see.

    Now what I need is a T-shirt printed with: “I’m NOT wearing a mask because I pose NO threat to you or you to me. I’ve been vaccinated. Don’t bother me with your fascist comments” . Truth be told, I’ve NEVER feared going out in public or mixing with other people because of the ChiCom manufactured flu. And I would never have worn a mask … if I could have gained admission to the business. I don’t live in FEAR of the virus … or the vaccine. What DO I FEAR? Elections being stolen by a leftist cabal of Govt. and Big Tech.

        1. I’ll prepare my FINAL goodbye to all you GOOD SDA’ers … and have my surviving family send it off … if the Govt. Killed me for being a “denier”.

          1. Not to make you feel any more uncertain than you may be, but, BCs UberFuhrer Bonnie Henry stated today that the vaccine “WILL PROTECT YOU FOR MONTHS”.

      Those aren’t tumors, they are gill stumps which you will need for the next step in your evolution. Also, your night vision will improve. After your second shot the webbing will come in between your fingers and between your arms and legs to enable you to glide for short distances. As your skin turns green from the chlorophyll your body will be producing you will find that you will need to eat less. Your endurance will improve and you will start producing oxygen when the sun is out. Your tolerance for extreme heat and cold will increase and you may be able to hibernate for weeks at a time. These adaptations will allow you to survive whatever extreme climate changes the future may throw at you.

      Unless it was a regular covid shot, then never mind. 🙂

      “This is something”
      “Therefore, we must do it”

      Pretty much sums up the government response everywhere. As for your comment about the woke herd response – bang on! I am sure this why we are all told we must wear masks, despite all the studies showing how useless they are (especially the cheap blue paper ones. Home made cloth ones are no better either).

      Why doesn’t anyone question these repeated lockdowns and mask-wearing and other nonsense? It’s been tried and it has failed.

      Yet the public needs to believe it because they have abandoned common sense for comfort. It’s better to have a moron come up with a solution than to soldier on and use one’s own wits.

Plus unwillingness to admit or denial that the people they have been trusting (Fauci being Exhibit A) have and still are flying by the seat of their collective pants, because “Science!” Trust me, I’ve seen it elsewhere where people trying to give differing opinions get smacked down or cowed into silence by other posters so they don’t even bother anymore. And we all know that it’s happening on a wider scale via social media, the regular media, etc and their “misinformation” campaigns.

    3. Since this is Whohoo Flu talk, think for a moment about the church near Edmonton whose pastor is still in custody for not obeying orders. What was the real crime? Disobeying the government and the health department (AHS)? No.

      What this pastor is really guilty of is the challenging (in public), of the prevailing narrative of fear that has overtaken this province, stoked each and every day by AHS and increasingly by this government. In thinking about this church, I’ve come to the realization that the this is in reality a long term, 4-600 person control group which shows the inconsistencies and failure within the public narrative including the lockdown and masks. AHS and the government can’t allow this challenge to continue or even expand. According to the prevailing AHS narrative, this church should have had numerous serious hospitalizations and probably even deaths… but where are they? Five hundred people a week gathering together for 8 months with little or no known consequences and yet I can’t have my children to my house.

      The government and AHS knew that this pastor would be honest and follow his convictions… he would not lie to a judge just to be released. Yet, we have a catch and release judicial system where the same people are constantly before a judge, promising to be better behaved this time with no intent to change. Fines are one thing, but this incarceration is way over the top. This was the perfect person to assert phony authority over to continue the narrative of fear.

  4. Well I had the second vaccination last week. No more ill effect than what I get from the flu shots. Soldiering on.

  6. The Israel thing does seem like real trouble. 10% of Israel has not been vaccinated or about 900k people. They’re still seeing ~2500 cases per day. If the vaccine works this is simply not possible. Think about it.

    Safe to assume the non-vaccinated and vaccinated population is pretty well distributed throughout the country. So can anyone explain how they could be seeing this high of infections? It has to mean it doesn’t work right? I hope to hell that’s wrong.

      1. Also, in addition to Allan’s comment, think about Israel vs. living in the US or Canada: Space, as in yard space. Parts of Italy had high rates last year partly because you had so many people crammed together in neighborhoods and homes, including several generations’ worth of the same family in the same house. I would bet that’s part of the problem Israel is experiencing, although someone can certainly tell me I’m off-base in that assumption.
