The Power Of No

Insauga;

International travelers arriving at Mississauga’s Pearson Airport are bypassing new government hotel quarantine protocols by simply walking out of the airport or by choosing to take a fine.

Peel Police have confirmed they are not detaining or arresting people who leave the arrival area. As well, others who refuse to take the mandatory COVID-19 test or book the quarantine hotel upon arrival, are opting to receive a fine that is cheaper than the quarantine cost and then are released to go home. The fines are usually in the $820 range while staying at an approved quarantine hotel could cost up to $2,000. […]

Police went on to say that unless there are serious aggravating circumstances involved, such as an offence under the Criminal Code, or any other demonstrated behaviour that places the individual or public in danger, they will not detain individuals who are non-compliant.

    Hmmm.
Really shows how dangerous this Pandemic is.

      1. I saw that on failbook and 99% of commenters were glad the guy nearly got choked to death. About 50% wished he had been killed.

    1. That’s the thing really. The tickets are unenforceable. They know that if you challenge the ticket and they go through with a trial they’ll lose and that will be publicized in the press.

  2. A mischievous person would make an ad on one of those baggage carousels informing people that they can just walk out without the 3 days in the hotel.

  3. We’re being played. This is pure unadulterated gov’t horseshit! And an Alberta pastor is sitting in solitary confinement.
How are we allowing this to happen??????

As Ezra Levant has said – when you’re allowed up 250 people in a movie theater and only 10 in a church it isn’t about a virus.

  4. I looked through the comments on that article. The stupid is really disheartening.
Not only are they willing to take whatever dehumanizing crap the government dishes out, but they’re all too willing to turn on you when you object.

      1. Two words, Osumashi. Sock. Puppets.

Most news forums are being freeped by hordes of sock puppets. Comment sections are no a guide to Real Life people anymore.

  5. Thanks to the Rebel News team and another hero, Chris Sky, Torontonians are getting the real news trickled into their brains somehow. Bit by bit word is hitting the general population. When it hits them in the pocket, they listen, when they are hit with an infringement of their freedom, they listen, and act, finally.

    P.S.
As for the poison called the Covid-19 Vaccine, the Governments around the Planet that are involved in this scam should be charged with Crimes against Humanity and the unscrupulous Leaders punished and sent away. The Bilderburgs might want to clean up the Oceans of the World if they want to do some good since the planet is mostly water. Their Globalism and Climate Change causes need a new direction. People are not buying what they’re selling.

  6. In other words, Peel’s finest are as sick of Wuhan flu as as the rest of us are.

The Libranos expect them to enforce their draconian measures against Wuhan flu instead of doing their jobs—dealing with Canada’s criminal classes, who were imported by the Libranos to help destabilize what was once a free, prosperous British dominion—much the same reason they imported Wuhan flu.

    1. Why are Peel’s finest there anyway? All airports are Federal and the quarantine rules are also Federal.

      Should be the RCMP, surely?

Where is Sgt. Renfrew (and his dog, Cuddles) when you need him?

      1. I believe that Peel Regional Police Force has the contract to police Pearson Int’l Airport. The airport is owned by the feds but operated by a local airport authority.

        1. I believe the airport authorities own their airports and operate under federal Transport Canada rules.

  7. Give the cops a break…likely busying themselves invoicing BBQ rebel Adam Skelly $187,030.56 for police services rendered during his mini protest.
    See how this works?

Guy’s face got pretty red with the choke hold. He wasn’t wearing a mask, because he probably had an exemption. No police insignia visible, because they were probably rentacops, or staff. They obviously didn’t stop him entering because they took him down well inside the store, if you know the CT layout..
Have a boo and reach your own conclusions. Mine is never shop CT again.

  9. When the cops make no effort to enforce the quarantine, it is because they’ve been told not to. Cops do what they’re told to do. They don’t decide stuff on their own.

Somebody at some level of government wants the Quarantine Hotel thing to quietly go away. I expect it’s the Ford provincial level, but it might be the Peel region suggesting the Feds step off.

Clearly none of them at any level give a single d@mn about the WuFlu. That’s kinda bad for a bunch of reasons.

  10. Government needs to drop this nonsense. Asymptomatic transmission is not a significant risk. I think the hotel quarantine could be shut down with a court challenge or a couple of law suits.

  11. Police went on to say that unless there are serious aggravating circumstances involved, such as pandemic lockdowns, … they will not detain individuals who are non-compliant. Well, that showed them didn’t it?

And the virus will cure itself.

Mind you, I agree with these people of independent spirit who are calling Blarney Science on all this BS.
