  1. Elections have consequences. All the worst predictions are coming true. Allowing municipalities to set their own gun laws amounts to handgun prohibition.

Thank you to everyone who had “principled” reasons not to everything to prevent it. Too late now.

      1. I am sure when the jackbooted thugs kick in your doors you will be happily holding your ground.

  2. So… as the leader of this genocidal country, how come he’s still free and not before a crimes against humanity tribunal? His father lead the genocide for 16 years. Why aren’t all the politicians and government officials who served during that time being prosecuted for their crimes against humanity?

  3. So can municipalities now choose to ignore any federal firearms law of their choosing as well? Of course not. It’s a typical liberal ratchet that only tightens.

Bit by bit they’re getting rid of freedom.

Be nice to see a premier with a backbone and declare Alberta a sanctuary province for those that want liberty.

    1. Be nice to see a premier with a backbone and declare Alberta a sanctuary province for those that want liberty.

That won’t happen until we replace Jell-O Kreampuff with a conservative premier with some testicular fortitude.

  4. I don’t believe that deferring to the Provinces or Municipalities will survive court challenges. Trudeau may eventually have to use the “Notwithstanding clause” of the Constitution

  5. So is his armed security detail hunting, sport shooting, or do they even make a distinction between the two?

  6. Harper and the Faux Cons bullshit election campaign described Juthtin Weirdeau as “Just Not Ready”.
They should have called him “The Enemy of Liberty”.
    He’s sub-human garbage.

As soon as a government can tell you what “you don’t need” be prepared to lose any and or all of your property, not just your firearms.

    1. People who don’t own guns miss the “canary in the coal mine” entirely.

It’s why they have that look of surprise when they choke on someone’s boot on their neck.

  7. Everyone knew in 2013 what China was like and that Justin admired it over Canada (not that I believe he has any feeling but contempt for Canada but I digress …).

    What happened?

    No one cared.

When a handful of people pointed out that this was, at the very least, questionable or problematic, they were ignored or laughed at.

Now, the same country that oppresses its own people and others has its tentacles all over the globe.

Soon enough, China will brag about its atrocities and normalise them knowing full well that Canadians et al will gladly nod their heads and approve.

    1. Presumably, Juthin reminded his Chinese handler that the Scales of Justice are easily rebalanced time and again in BitCoin.
CBC & CTV then lead the charge molding the lazy, gullible minds of Canadians.

  8. *
tell it to the driftwood crips…

“”Those who keep their blacklisted weapons would have to abide by
strict conditions. They would have to agree not to use the weapons,
to import or acquire any more of them or to bequeath them to anyone
    else.”

  9. There will be a collective realization why this does not work as intended when the next shoot out occurs at Jane and Finch right after it’s passed.
Then again perhaps the real intent is to get everyone talking about guns and not talking about anything else during an election.

  10. The federal government went to Europe in the 1950s to recruit tradesmen and professionals for the then-booming Canadian economy. Was the opportunity to freely commit genocide cited as one of the reasons for coming here?

    1. There will be no referendum until PM Trust Fund dumps enough imported voters into Redmonton and Nenshitown to assure his win.

  11. Hang on to your guns kids. When pressed…tell’em it’s in the lake when you went duck hunting.
An unarmed populace is when the real fun begins.

    1. Here we go again, predictably a version of “canoe accident” bullshit has to appear within first 10 posts. You cannot take your restricted firearms duck hunting. If you tell cops you have done so you will be admitting to a felony.

      1. Thanks for your input, if you were keeping up to date you’d be aware that a great many 12 gauge shotguns, used in game hunting, have been ruled as prohibited as of last May. Like the proposed new gun law in America the whole idea is eventually to remove all firearms from public ownership, drip by drip and inch by inch. I’d like to see the argument that would ensue if the government introduced a bill that removed all gas and diesel trucks and SUVs from private ownership because you don’t need that kind of vehicle to go to work or take the kids to the soccer field. But thanks once again for your insight, it is one more reminder of what we are dealing with.

        1. Yes, I am aware about the ambiguity regarding a lot of 12-gauge shotguns and all 10-gauge shotguns. It wasn’t their explicit objective but stupid people writing stupid rules to appease stupid electorate has unintended stupid consequences. Shotguns with few exceptions are not registered. I am certain fudds will get to keep theirs … for now.

Their next objective is semi auto riffles and handguns. They will expand the list of prohibited semi auto riffles, your SKS, Tavor or Type 89 are not safe. And the municipalities regulating handguns will destroy handgun ownership in Canada. You will not be allowed to cross municipality borders to shoot at a range in a different municipality or to have your guns serviced. And since regular practice at a gun club is a requirement for handgun ownership they will be all confiscated. It is just a matter of time now. Elections have consequences.

        2. “I’d like to see the argument that would ensue if the government introduced a bill that removed all gas and diesel trucks and SUVs from private ownership ”

You mean like BC banning sales of gas powered vehicles in 2040? Done and done. Car owners (and dog owners and meat eaters), are the next gun owners. And Karen’s will applaud and clap in their ever more cramped gilded cages. And millenials will get on the bus and twit their support from their smart phones. And imports will not even notice. That is how civilization dies.

      2. If I tell cops I lost my 12 ga. duck hunting or otherwise several fng years ago the onus is on the cops/Crown to prove I didn’t.
You do you. Tell the police you don’t have your firearm anymore, lost, stolen – you threw it in the garbage, made a telescope out of it I don’t give a shit. Tell them whatever you want…Would that make you happy? Let them prove you didn’t.
        Fng moron.

        1. You have no clue about the current laws. If I tell them that I have illegally modified my 1911 it is a felony. If I tell them I went hunting with it it is a felony. If I don’t report the loss or theft of my 1911 it is felony. If I throw it in the garbage it is a felony.

          Got it?

You’re only allowed to shoot it at the range and to transport it to and from range and to and from service. That is it.

          Clear enough?

And let’s suppose that somehow you have managed to convince them you don’t have it anymore and they left you alone (sure they would). What then? You can’t have it serviced. You can’t practice with it. You probably can’t buy ammo for it. And you’re a criminal. What’s your plan after that?

        2. Personally I have a crappy first generation thin barreled Mini-14 I’d love to sell them. I’m just curious as to how much the buyback will be.

I couldn’t sell it on the market in good conscience, the thing groups about 4″ at 100 yards even with an aftermarket Accu-strut, stock and scope. Shitty trigger, mushy with an overly stiff pull, nothing but a closet queen for about 30 years.

          1. If I am correct Mini 14 used to be unrestricted and hence it is not registered. I am not suggesting you do anything illegal, far from it, just pointing it out, dunno why.

          2. Heh, it is unregistered, and I’m against the ban 100% – But – if and when it does go through, I see an opportunity to sell a crappy piece of junk to the Liberals I really don’t want…………..

I’ve got plenty of good shooting rifles in my collection, never had a use for one that barley hits a target at reasonable ranges. Yes, even with carefully developed handloads amongst the other attempts to fix. All but a new trigger which wouldn’t have made a difference as the barrel was too thin from it’s inception. They corrected that in later models.

Wonder what Trudeau thinks it’s worth?

  12. The Liberal Party is a party of traitors. National Post reports on the Liberal premier in Nova Scotia praising China.

  13. National Post reports that the Canada Pension Plan has invested over 55 billion dollars in China.

    1. Well, to set up their offices in Hong Kong, whose money do you think they’d use, their own? Think of all those Old Folks WHO croaked and the money they freed up by dying from COVID.
Buy some Powercorp and Great West Life (owned by Powercorp), they pay 5.8% and 5.6% respectively, quarterly. Better than cash in the bank that pays squat. The share price doesn’t move around much for either. Use your CPP and OAS to buy the stuff, if you need to. At today’s interest rates, use that boat anchor called “muh house” to fund it. Interest to invest is tax deductible, against your taxable income if you have any.
Powercorp invests in China through CITTI. Look it up.

  14. Does Turdoo accept that it was genocide the Turks carried out against the Armenians? Does he think what successive Canadian governments did to the Indians is worse that what the Chinese are doing to Muslims? I saw him wiggling like a worm on a hook talking about the ‘loaded’ term ‘genocide’. I have two souvenir WWII hand guns I got from my parents. Am I going to lose them? They are locked in a strong box and stored in a solid too heavy to carry steel safe. Am I in danger of having to give them up because I might go on a killing spree? As somebody pointed out somewhere, banning hand guns will prevent murders and shootings just like banning drugs prevents overdoses. FFS!!

  15. Next diesel pickups,OK cargo vans ,for who needs these dangerous toys..
After the “lone Wolf Incel” used one,it is obvious these are just terrorist tools parked everywhere..
Hell every Auto Rental firm has dozens, just ready to take out and mow down innocent female pedestrians..
UHaul must be the largest supporter of terrorism in the continent..
Or do we need to license all those “Deadly Capitol Fire Extinquishers?

Time we banish or exterminate,I’m pretty relaxed about either, every Assault Style Liberal Politician.
For under British Common Law,these useless parasites have declared war on the tax payer.
Actively seeking to destroy every civil and human right we hold.
    Assaulting us on every front.

So they will now claim, what I just said is “Hate Speech”,ignoring the obvious fact, they decided to attack our natural rights.
We did not seek to deny them theirs..prior to their own self identification as enemies of civilization.

I maintain an obvious truth.I need none of these creatures in my life.
They need us,for without a host to steal from, they are nothing.
At what point does blatant oath breaking by such people become treason?

  16. Trudeau is for sure wearing a rug! He is balding and getting old. Let’s let him retire, ungraciously.

    1. Let’s let him retire

And here I thought he was….. ever since he took office in 2015.

  17. Bill Fuckface Blair says gun ownership is a privilege, not a right.

“We do not arm ourselves in this country to protect ourselves from our fellow citizens. We rely on the rule of law, not the end of a gun, for our safety.”

Yes, my fellow citizen, Homey the Drug Dealer, feels the same way.

And yeah, the rule of law helped people against Wortman in Nova Scotia, you cunt.

The POS should go for a walk in Churchill, Manitoba with a pork chop tied to his neck.

  18. Baath, don’t worry. Pinky Otool and his crew of stalwarts will fight tooth and nail against any further erosion of our firearms rights!

Suggestions that Pinky & Co. seek and rely on the effete, squat-to-pee vote are completely unfounded!

  19. I dont know where people think women vote for Turdo because he is “good looking with nice hair”! Must be vacuous 20 yr olds. I am a woman and I cannot even look at Turdo nor hear his voice without wanting to upchuck!
I saw him in the Calgary airport – he was approaching me with his swagger. I took one look at him and turned around and strode quickly in the other direction. My ” airport uniform” wouldnt have allowed me to walk up to him and puke on his shoes as I was wont to do. GAG,

  20. I am sure the only people that believe anything this moronic man child pathologic liar says do not speak or understand either of Canada’s official languages.

  21. Looks like it is time for a Provincial police force. Finally.
The RCMP certainly does not do much for western interests.

  22. I await the great plan with some interest and amusement, for we know the going rate for second rate bolt action rifles, the government paid something like $30 000 apiece for new sniper rifles for our long suffering troops.
Now a high quality semi automatic must be worth a bit more than that..
And the totally banned ,previously legal centre-fire semi autos..those are now priceless,by order of the Moron.
As in they cannot be bought, sold or traded,so there is now way for the real market to establish their value,so we have no choice but to use the government “value” as above.

But I am willing to compromise, for the good of public safety,$30 000 will be barely tolerable.

  23. Damn I missed the point once again.
Our own Prime Minister calls Canada a Genocidal State..
So we cannot be disarmed by the government, for they are mass murders.Self admitted Killers of their own.
Bill Blair proves his own stupidity,if the State is genocidal, then the citizens require weapons to defend themselves..From that state.
Funny how not one of the Government Presstitutes dare ask that obvious question.
“Gee Mr Public Safety Dude, why is the Genocidal State of Can Ahh Duh seeking to disarm the tax paying citizens?”

  24. This news comes too late for me, unfortunately I lost my entire gun collection in a boating accident, I was out in lake Ontario cleaning them, big wave took them all.

  25. “…not for personal protection”? The Bill of Rights (1689) specifically uses the words “bear arms for their defence”. Depending on the province, the date of reception ranges from 1660 (New Brunswick, which would have received the 1689 Bill on assent) to 1870 (the former Rupert’s Land).

Incidentally, the 1689 Bill of Rights is where the U.S. Founders got the wording of the Second Amendment, which shows that the “militia” interpretation so beloved of Murrican gun-grabbers is a total falsehood.
