  1. Come on now – every buzzword and phrase is beyond refute – follow the science ,free and fair election, the science is settled, price on pollution, the big lie . Oh by the way how is everyone enjoying the two times average global warming from Nunavut to Texas?

  2. Where I assume Scott is making these points in reference to the KungFlu outbreak, every point also directly reflects the Warmists’ dishonest habit of disguising political rhetoric as supposed scientific fact.

  3. Well I disagree here; it is possible to understand “the science” with rational thought but it takes time and effort. I don’t, for example, know much about or understand microbiology, but I can recognize when someone is arguing by analogy rather than analysis. There are a dozen or so logical falacies that we can easily spot, and most of them appear daily in the mouths of our government organs.

The two most popular by far are the omission, of fact or context or evidence and the argument from authority.

  4. It has come down to what a person wants to believe. A situation parodied in the “witch” scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

  5. We have all come to see, that “The Science” TM,has never been subject to the scientific method.
Those fools and bandits proclaiming “The Science is settled” are demonstrating their idiocy.
Just as elected persons proclaiming their contempt of justice and British common law are demonstrating their treason.

History shows that when you cannot use words to resolve differences, then sticks and bricks become acceptable alternatives..This being an observation the “Hate Speakers” never seem to understand.

  6. I think it was Richard Feynman who said “Science is the belief in the ignorance of the experts”

    1. He also said during the Challenger investigation that nature cannot be fooled.

  7. “”no reporter was sent to look at scene. The general policy had been stated by a famous editor five years ago. “There are no objective facts “He had said “Every report on facts is only somebody’s opinion. It is, therefore, useless to write about facts”” Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged 1957.
