    1. I find it sad that so many of our Fathers and Grandfathers died for “freedom” and here we are in lockdown tyranny because the pathetic Canadians are terrified of a flu virus, I don’t want to hear a bloody word about how dangerous it is because it is a damn flu. Our men died in vain if this is now the so called “new normal”. I despise my fellow Canadians attitude and cowardice. I have had a long association with the military and today it is primarily just another arm of the bureaucracy. There are more chiefs than indians and the government has spent decades making the military a toothless entity.

      1. OWG

DECADES indeed. I was in the early 70’s…wearing that Godawfull green Uniform…there were still many REAL soldiers around then..and to a man they Despised the Liberals – COWARDS (and THAT was a term of “endearment”…lol more like derision), is what they called them….often. I couldn’t have agreed more.

Im Still searching for French Military “Victories”…

Nothing has changed since then but gotten FAR FAR worse IMO. Their procurement “strategies” tell the tale perfectly. I see they are now finally looking for a replacement for their 70 year old sidearm, the Browning 9mm…wow.

    1. It has been beautiful and warm in Minnesota this December and January because all the cold is on the other side of the world. right now.

      1. And it’s called the Brudder because the reaction one has when one tries to drive it is, “Oh, brudder!”

          1. Ah, so maybe there’s another mayor who believes that “people are more important than potholes”.

That phrase was coined by former Edmonton mayor Jan Reimer, a hard-core socialist, who was elected about 30 years ago. (Dumbass Donnie wasn’t the first one.) Edmonton’s streets never recovered from that idiocy.

          1. Nancy – And there are Brudder’s in Northern and Eastern New Brunswick. I used to get a drive in one of those big fancy limos every day from grades 1 – 12… Thanks Nancy!

  1. No place for ‘far right’ in Conservative Party: O’Toole

…O’Toole made the declaration in a statement today in which he lists the numerous ways that he has sought to make the Tories more inclusive and moderate since becoming leader in August…”
    https://www.ckom.com/2021/01/17/no-place-for-far-right-in-conservative-party-otoole/
    —————————————————————————————————————————————-
L- Let me correct that headline: “No place for ‘the West’ in Conservative Party: O’Toole, as if
he had not made that clear from the start. We’re still a colony, the N.W.T, or acting like it.

    1. Rupert’s Land, not NWT.
About that “far right”. When you get so far right, don’t you just end up on the left?
      Define “far right”, please.

      1. PO, I once described the left and right as being at the top of a circle and as you went towards the bottom and they met, both entities became the same, dictatorial and tyrannical. Conservatives today have no freaking idea who they are or what they represent as they are basically socialist lite and fail to see that they are. Maybe they do see what they are and like all Canadians are quite content to control people’s lives under the guise of “helping” them.

    2. make the Tories more inclusive and moderate

Correction: make the Tories more like the Liberals. Does that mean he’ll be wearing blackface some day?

    3. So the brainiac Liberals that run the Con Party think its best to have a blacklist of Canadians who are ideologically unfit and unwelcome in the Con Party tent.
O’Toots and his Liberal Con Party will be destroyed when Turdhole calls a Spring election.
      Fools and fakes.

    1. That’s almost worth a separate post. An interest of mine, photographically. My current background on this computer consists of flat prairie, dark sky, northern lights and the Milky Way.

      1. PO’ed – I agree. It’s mind boggling that a jet can be as llong as the diameter of the Galaxy itself.
It would take light a million years to travel the length of it. Meanwhile we are trying to get to Mars which is only 3 – 22 light minutes away.

      2. Mine as well PO’d….!!
Time to buy that STAR Tracker I’ve been lookin at….
Scored a 300mm AI (Nik), with a 1.4 teleconverter…Cant afford the Big lenses so this will have to do..Cheers. I shoot a Nik D750.

  2. I watched the movie The Falcon and the Snowman earlier today. It’s about the infamous case of Christopher Boyce selling intelligence secrets to the Soviets, aided by his buddy Daulton Lee.

I got the impression that Boyce was portrayed as a misguided young man, motivated by his “conscience”. If that was re-made today, he’d be shown to be a hero, like that xim/xer/xit that O’Bummer sprung out of Leavenworth and pardoned shortly before Trump took office.

Sorry, but Boyce and Lee were traitors to their country.

    1. Country? These are the “post national” times BADR. We’re all “Twitterati”, or “Facebookniks”, “GOOGLEcrats”, or “Amazonians”. Technically, we don’t need passports to travel, just COVID ones.

      1. Actually, the events described in the movie took place during the mid-1970s. The old paper tape teletype machines were used back then.

However, I get the gist of your comment. I wonder what Boyce would make of what’s going on now. Apparently what prompted him to betray his country was allegations that the CIA meddled in Australian politics at the time, resulting in Prime Minister Gough Whitlam being punted from office by the Governor General.

Helloooooo? Boyce? That stuff went on for decades and the Soviets didn’t hesitate to do that. They even invaded countries that were under their influence but dared to defy them until the Red Army moved in and replaced their governments. Hungary, Czechoslovakia….. surely you’ve heard of them, haven’t you?

        1. I worked in a Montreal pub with a Hungarian who came over as a kid in 1957, he had stories. Nasty ones. In 1968 a Czechoslovakian gal showed up suddenly in my English classes, in high school. We had been watching the tanks arrive in Prague prior to that on TV, weeks before. We dealt with that kind of crap over here, as the FLQ were blowing mailboxes in my part of town in Montreal for several years. Pequiste angst. Between the unions (all commie) and FLQ, fun times. They wear suits, now and sit in the Leg.

          1. Remember well a teacher who moved next door to us; he was Hungarian but came to Canada via Australia where he acquired a very nice Australian wife. This man had had to high-tail it out of Hungary before the Revolution, and was not overly respectful of those who escaped through the window the Revolution created. At that time, Andy Stewart’s song “A Scottish Soldier” was popular. Do remember him saying that this song really hit home because he would never be able to return to Hungary. Son was Phillip Borsos who obtained renown as a film director, producer, and screnwriter. Interesting that Wikipedia mentions his parents, but does not name them.

    2. More about traitors….
      This evening I watched:
“Witness to the Mob” 1998″ (2:51:25)
      https://youtu.be/YbyDkbIwfo4

This Gambino “Family” true story mob flick featured the betrayal of Sammy (the Bull) Gravano who ratted out Boss, John Gotti. This movie was all business and violence.

As well, it featured many actors who were in the “Sopranos” HBO series.

      Yay, there were ‘No’ commercials!

      P.S.
I recorded “The Falcon And The Snowman,” for later.

      1. The movie itself was rather dry. Both Boyce and Lee were dolts and it’s a wonder the Soviets didn’t draw and quarter them.

About the only half-decent thing about the flick was the song playing during the closing credits, which was released as a single when the movie was in theatres in the mid-1980s.

      2. As for the movie Witness to the Mob, I’ll have to take a look, depending upon my supply of round tuits.

  3. General McInerney has some interesting thoughts on the current events. Red6. CASTLE_ROCK.

    https://t.me/s/GeneralMcInerney

Thomas McInerney is a political commentator and a retired United States Air Force Lieutenant General, who served in top military positions under the President of the United States and Secretary of Defense. McInerney was a forward air controller and fighter pilot during the Vietnam War and had flown 407 combat missions during his four tours of duty. In addition to his Vietnam service, McInerney served overseas in NATO; Pacific Air Forces and as commander of 11th Air Force in Alaska.

    1. McInerney is referring to this:

Meet Scott Kesterson who made the documentary Bards of War where in 2006 he attached with the Canadian Princess Patricia light infantry in Afghanistan.
Currently he does the Bards of War podcast. There is a lot of insight into what is going on with FEMA and the National Guard in DC.

    2. And Then there is this

General David H. Berger, Commandant of the United States Marine Corps., refused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s request to use the Corps. to safeguard Biden’s Jan. 20 inauguration from Trump supporters and insurrectionists.

      1. Awesome! I haven’t had a coffee yet and my day is already made!
“If you want us to help combat his supporters, I suggest you get him on the phone and tell him that. If he orders me to, I will. Otherwise, I suggest you listen really hard to the words escaping your cracked, poisonous lips; they’re tantamount to treason. We don’t work for you,” Gen. Berger allegedly told her.

      2. “…I suggest you listen really hard to the words escaping your cracked, poisonous lips; they’re tantamount to treason. We don’t work for you,”

        to have heard that LIVE..??
        Outstanding..!!

      Miracles do exist!

  4. The U.S. State department released a “Fact Sheet” last Friday n January 15, stating that it is leaving open the possibility that the China virus is in fact the result of a China bioweapon being accidently released from the Level-5 Wuhan biological research institute. Please read: there is new information here:
    https://translations.state.gov/2021/01/15/fact-sheet-activity-at-the-wuhan-institute-of-virology/

A Google search shows that Catherine Herridge, an award-winning reporter over at CBC News, is the only establishment journalist to report on this fact sheet release. All other reports come from various conservative blogs. The possibility of a China bioweapon, of course, must be kept secret by the media cartel.

    1. Awk. “CBC” should read “CBS”. CBC News likes the government of China, and its bioweapons.

  5. Post Millennial reports that Chinese spies are watching dissidents in Australia, and reporting back to the fascist regime.

  6. Blacklock has the news that a mandate letter has been issued by Angry Adolf proposing a new vision for western Canada. Since the Liberals are basically extinct in western Canada, the vision will be drawn up by eastern Liberal MPs in Toronto and Quebec.

    1. OJ – Is he going to resettle Albertans in the Yukon? Ethnic cleansing the West of Conservatives?

      1. That’s fine by me. Summers are great up there and they even get Chinooks in Whitehorse in the winter. It’ just a short drive to Skagway or Haines, Alaska and Diamond Tooth Gerti’s hosts live poker games. Belly up to the table. There’s a bakery north of Whitehorse on the way to Dawson City that make giant cinnamon buns to die for. Stay in a hotel in Whitehorse and have them deliver the whiskey bottle to your door.

    2. How will Quebec survive without Alberta’s contributions to the ‘National’ economy ? Much like Sturgeon’s independent Scotland ? Despertly seeking a new teat. Maybe China will pick up these stray cats … for dinner.

    1. I watched the original long version of that.
Dr Simone Good is excellent and her comments BANG ON.
Another Video I watched a cpl days later, also from Front Line Drs of America, showcased A Dr Lee Merrit, who was also simply excellent.

      ..to sum them both up:
My rant on various social media blurbs and commentary.

“…WOW…to see the majority of apparently brain dead Canadians squeezing each other out to be the first to put an EXPERIMENTAL Biological Genetic Altering agent into their Veins to supposedly combat the Wuhan Flu…INCREDIBLE.!! a flu with a 99.95% survival rate no less….Whaaaa.???

Do ANY of YOU ever THINK.?? Critically.??

This supposed inoculation (I won’t call it a vaccine cause it will NOT Protect you from getting it – NOR will it prevent you from SPREADING it either..), One conjured up in a mere 9 months – One that has catastrophically Failed every Animal Testing series to date (4) – One where the Makers have immunity from prosecution if something goes wrong – One which has a couple of serious questions Needing answers: Potential Male/Female Infertility & Auto Immune disorder – One where they have tried for the past 40 YEARS to create a VIABLE CORONA Virus VACCINE (8 different corona viruses btw), and FAILED every time..!! Seasonal flu shot incl.

“Vaccines” built on the trashing of repurposed drugs which have Excellent proven efficacy against the Wuhan Virus and were Fraudulently trashed as being Dangerous. See Lancet & New England Journal of Medicine RETRACTIONS of their COVID 19 Studies on Hydroxychloroquine …..why was that trashed.?? For BIG PHARMA Profits. With Dr FAUCI and Bill Gates standing in the corner counting their INvestments

YET after all that, you are now still willing to put your LIFE on the line believing the FOLKS who have Flip Flopped & Lied to you for 12 months straight.??? With NOT ONE of you knowing precisely what is in it and what it will ACTUALLY do.??

      Talk about conditioning and indoctrination..UNREAL.
Cue the cattle cars & ovens..”

OWG is and always was 100% Correct: Majority of Canadians are beyond STooPiD.

      1. At first we are racists for asking to close the border to China’s COVID flights into Canada, and now we are another kind of racist for not wanting provincial boarders closed to travel.

I wonder if we could start diversifying our racist pronouns?

        1. That’s BC – and only parts of it – not wanting to see Alberta licence plates. No matter that Covid-bearing travellers from the west coast might head east and north; they have the right licence plates and it’s only Albertans who can spread the Wuhan flu. Doubt those wanting the inter-provincial border closed realize is that the eastern part of BC depends on Alberta for a lot of health care.

          1. Yup. When my father was still alive, he had to drive from Fort St. John to Grande Prairie as it had the facilities for the test he needed to have. It’s less than 3 hours drive away. Prince George, by comparison, is closer to 5 and the trip can be rather tricky because the highway goes through the Pine Pass.

          2. Having lived and worked in the Lower Mainland, most denizens don’t go farther than Hope or Whistler. The rest are Chinah Folk down there. As for the health care, courtesy of Alberta Health Care, I’ve met a few at Tom Baker from SW BC. Logging, ranching, farming, mining, coal people. Brothers in arms, mostly.

      2. Even my dentist isn’t taking the vaccine nor is their whole crew. They want to wait and see.

Governments, Big pharma and Big Tech wanting to make money from the flu, how evil is that! Linus Pauling must be rolling over in his grave!

        P.S.
Long before the announcement of the scamdemic, around February 2019, I had a miserable congested chest cold, with a bit of sneezing and a lot of hacking and coughing. No fever.
I emptied 2 tissue boxes. It took at least 2 – 3 weeks to get better. So there, I got over it- no vaccine, just plenty of fluids, bed and warm blankets. I drank lemon or camomile tea and took Benylin cough medicine and tylenol for colds. Was it Covid-19? Probably.

        1. I also had a very bad cold last January. Lasted for several weeks. Started with a sore throat . . . eventually a heavy cough. Same approach– tea with ginger, vitamin C, lozenges. Eventually went away. I also wondered if it was Covid. It was a much heavier cold than I have had for many years, do even Covid emerged, I thought . . . maybe. We have heard that Covid probably started cropping up last Dec.

          1. I don’t remember whether I had a sore throat*, but, yes, ‘it’ was a much heavier cold than anything I’ve had in years. The weight on lungs frightened me, so since I was desperate, I put some Vicks vapo rub on. Haven’t done that since I was a child. It seemed to help a lot.

            P.S.
*Now, at the first sign of an itchy or sore throat, I gargle with an 8oz, heavily-salted glass of water. The sore throat disappears, amazingly.
