    Christmas morning I’ll put on some carols starting with Hark the Herald Angels sing. My dad used to wake up the family with that carol. And he’d sing along… “Hark the Harold Angels sing, Mrs Simpson stole our King…”. I don’t remember the rest, but it was kinda fun.

    I captured a photo of an iridescent cirrus cloud out back on Wednesday the 23rd at about 10 am just after the sun rose. The sky was bright blue and the huge white cloud seemed to be in the shape of a dove in flight. The iridescent hues were situated at the outer part of the so called “wing tip”. The colors were very pale, turquoise/ pale mint green, pink, and turquoise/pale mint green. The sight was awesome!

    This seemed like a once in a lifetime shot! I few moments later it was gone. I thought this was no coincidence knowing that we are in the Christmas Season of 2020 so thought I’d share this with you.

  29. Merry Christmas to all! As it happens, it’s colder here in south-central Iowa right at the moment
    than it is in Saskatoon (-16.7 C vs. -10 C). There is now enough light to see in color, and I can see
    Christmas lights on several of the houses near me, reminding me that I have the best neighbors
    that a man can have. Some friends have invited me to their home for dinner Sunday; they’re
    celebrating Christmas with their children, grandchildren, etc., today. I have no relatives who live
    within about two-hundred miles, so I’ll be enjoying myself all alone, which is just fine with me.
    Among other things, I’ll be celebrating the fact that, starting tomorrow, I won’t have to hear
    “Jingle Bell Rock”, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”, etc. for the next eleven months. Come
    to think of it, I won’t hear them today, either, because I’ll be right here, inside my house, listening
    to Haydn and Mozart.

    I wish the best Christmas ever to everyone who reads this.

      I believe the most well adjusted humans are those comfortable-enough with themselves to spend time alone and be content. I’m sorry that you are alone on Christmas, but sounds as if it won’t be for long. Re: your listening to classics … just last night on Christmas Eve, I wanted to hear some classical (religious) Christmas music … so I asked Siri; “play baroque Christmas music”. Siri answered that Apple Music had no such music. Fearing my search request had been too specific, I asked; “Siri, play Christmas Music”, and she answered; “Apple Music does not have any Christmas Music”. I asked about three more times … and received the same answer.

      Now I hate big tech and social media MORE than I ever have.

  31. I’m late to posting as usual, but I’m thankful for Kate and SDA, and to have found likeminded friends with whom I daily relate, debate, create, and commiserate! I thank you all, for the blessings I have found on SDA.

  32. Merry Christmas to all my SDA friends. Even NME666 … and UnMetoo.

    My wife and I have fled N.CA for Orange Co. where my sister in law, Daughter, son in law, and grandson live. Gavin Newsom forbade our Christmas journey. But my wife and I are dedicated Super-spreaders. Super-Spreaders of Love, Peace, and Goodwill toward Men. We spent Christmas Eve with my Sister in law and Nephews and Christmas Day here with my daughter. No, we did not gather outside, nor did we socially-distance ourselves from one another … we embraced, held hands for prayer, and hugged.

    We have studiously EXCLUDED the lying government and media from our Family gatherings. And yes … even though our grandson was running a fever, and was recovering from a cold … we had no fear or worry hugging him, and kissing him up. Even if my wife and I were to DIE in two weeks … we would NEVER regret living our lives FREE and FEARLESS
