  1. So does anyone in Winnipeg live near the premiers or health ministers residence and can they see if people arrive/leave while not wearing any protective mask? It seems that would be a good thing to report given the concern that the gov’t there has for stopping the spread of covid. (feel free to add any MLAs to the list of watched people)

    1. Does not apply to them. All politicians have immunity. It just applies to us because they’re broke and need the fine money for all that massive new spending.

      1. Stupid cuckservatives voted for yet another #LibCons at the provincial level. Beware the word conservative in Manitoba’s PC but never, ever underestimate the progressive part; they take it seriously.

  2. What’s next, you ask? Availability of food. Next rationing of food, delivery of groceries, fuel, electricity. Anyone want to bet against me on that?

    1. I wondered why UN-toadies were setting up ‘Food Security’ meetings. Canada has lots of food. Perhaps the food stocks are only available to those who strictly adhere to Compliance Symbol regulations such as wearing dehumanizing masks.

      1. Food security is a fragile and complex system. It is not likely to survive the coming economic plan.

      2. Canada has lots of food as long as you only want to eat Red River cereal in winter. For those of you unfamiliar with this delicacy, it is basically boiled wheat kernels.

        1. I agree that Red River Cereal is a wonderful Canadian cereal. This is really what it contains: STEEL CUT WHEAT, STEEL CUT RYE, CRACKED AND WHOLE FLAX. MAY CONTAIN BARLEY, MUSTARD, OAT, SESAME SEED, SOYBEAN AND TRITICALE INGREDIENTS.

The rye and flax add healthy ingredients. Unfortunately, the company that made it sold it to Smuckers (US), so I find it now to be difficult to obtain in B.C. grocery stores, as many people are not interested in making healthy hot cereal properly.

So, even that food is no longer easily available.

  3. Honestly, I can’t believe someone in Pallister’s position would be so STUPID. Gestapo member?
    He’s losing it.

    1. Maybe Pallister can hire Andrew Scheer’s sister AND sister-in-law. I hear they are both looking for work today.

  4. This tip line will come in handy when they start filling up the Covid quarantine camps they are building. And once Blackie McBlackface gets his basic dictatorship he will be able to turn the economy around on a dime.

  5. Manitoba has had 172 deaths attributed to Covid – since 90% of those were either old enough or sick enough, or both not have survived the year that means, at worst, 16 people in Manitoba have died with Covid, again all or most would likely be older than the average Canadian life expectancy.

We are allowing govt to create a police state because of the flu…

    1. 732 people die on average everyday in Canada, stats-can numbers. 153,400 die everyday world wide and 48 million have died this year but not from cov2.

      1. Ohhhhhhhh Maa’mmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaa … if we can prevent even ONE death by shutting down all Western economies … then restart them as the (finally rightly done) Socialist nirvana we all dream of … ohhhhh ma’maaaaaaaaaaaaa! Won’t the world be ‘worth living in’ again?

        Prevent just ONE death …

  6. Yes, Kate, good comparison and its NOT mischief. People are getting worse and worse.

Tip Lines are Snitch Lines. Call it a rose, but it still stinks like shit.

  7. Fer Gawd’s sake, here at the center of the Universe, Toronto, City of Light, that would just net a harvest of diversity. Crikey, just watching the entrance to the world’s best mass transit system, the Toronto Transit C, today I counted a disproportionate number of victims of the legacy of colonialism in Africa that would be unfairly targeted by this software of the patriarchy. Gadzooks.

  8. Conservatism has always been a big tent, and now we’re finding out that there’s a lot of poop lying around from the statists we allowed in.

The chances of ever actually electing a libertarian conservative are next to nothing. They use that part of the coalition for a vote harvest then forget all about the principles until the next time votes are needed.

There’s one thing about COVID, it exposed what Canadian conservatism is actually all about — and it’s not a pretty sight. Odd as it might sound, the dipper government in BC actually restrained themselves more than either Pallister or Ford in this business so far. Only the Alberta government came anywhere near acting the way we might expect from people who claim the name.

That being said, there is still plenty of evidence that this is some overhyped globalist control power play for other reasons. I suspect this was cooked up with a designer virus as cover, to enact the legislation required to fight the fictitious climate emergency. Important people got together some time in 2019 and worked this whole thing out, saw how it would probably dislodge Donald Trump as a bonus, and they could get busy saving the planet and selling lots of medical supplies.

We have lost our freedom in an undeclared revolution. So what are we going to do about it?

    1. Read the Epoch Times.
      Its all about the chinamen(chinks).
Flood the western world with fentanyl and covid .

      1. “Epoch Times” was founded by “Chinamen.” By followers of Falun Gong. Basically yoga enthusiasts. Who have first hand experience of being persecuted (and actually executed) by the evil Chinese Communist Party. The founders of Epoch Times know what’s coming and have been warning us for years. We fail to take heed at our own risk.

    2. Yes, the NDP govt in BC has so far not been too draconian, except for the recent rule about seeing only people with whom you live, which they sort-of backtracked on to a fuzzy “bubble” group of regulars for those of us who live alone, which is so stupid and unenforceable.

Since there are few consequences, we seniors, with one or more pre-existing conditions, can mostly go about our business and most stores remain open, it is not as bad … yet.

Although we all know that masks are likely ineffective, I will dutifully wear one on transit and in stores, hair and manicure salons (who are following rules and desperately trying to survive), and in my home when I have required service people come to my home. I only wear a mask outdoors in busy places, as there are few outdoor fines and it is hard to breathe. Restaurants are a wonderful outlet and look safe to me, even as the rainy season arrives.

Mischief would not work well here, right now. Vancouver has always been rather lax on rule enforcement, so let sleeping dogs lie …. until this all hopefully goes away.

That said, if we go to lockdown rules, I will rebel and flame the MPPs! My dog needs a trim and I want to shop a bit in person. My favourite local shops will go under and the economy will crash. Any government who cancels Christmas will die.

  9. Manitoba better vote those socialist Dippers out and put a real Conservative government in. *Laughs in Pallister*

  10. Remember when Charles Adler cried about how un-Canadian it was for Kellie Leitch to propose setting up a terrorist hotline? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

    1. Leftist site makes sure to call out conservative snitch lines. If that site does not get an article up pronto calling this covid snitch line bad then they can stfu.

  11. Part of me wants this craziness to stop, but part of me is incredibly curious to see how far down the line people are going to let this continue and how far down the tyranny stairs we get kicked by a bunch of useless govt bureaucrats and politicians.

I’m getting my “Told ya so!” Tshirts printed ASAP. 🙂

  12. My local NextDoor app is filled with my neighbors who endlessly whine and kvetch about seeing ‘certain’ people not wearing masks, or wearing the wrong kind of mask, or wearing their masks improperly … outdoors … walking the sidewalks. These types ALWAYS imply that every scofflaw is a Trumpista. Every scofflaw doesn’t “believe” in “science”. Blah, blah, blah.

Gawd … I’d love to send these whiney dolts to Eastern Canada

  13. I called and left a voice message, warning that the Manitoba government has been infiltrated by former members of the East German Stasi.

And was there ever any COVID in the former East Germany? No? See how effective snitching on family and neighbours was? (sarcasm = off)

  14. So why are we still part of this shithole?
Can Ah Duh is done,it collapsed into a one party kleptocracy decades ago.
Alberta makes a damn fine fortress with our backs to the mountains.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition, for there are no atheists in foxholes…
The relentless grasping after power, more power ,power over everyone is a sickness..rather than create things of beauty, grow fine crops or build lasting structures these mentally ill fools demand that they must dominate all.
Apparently the word “No” forms no part of their comprehension.
The useless and clueless demand we “Respect their authority” until we can stomach them no more..they will be still wondering”What did I do” when you wrap your paws around their throats and squeeze until they remain silent..For they are far too stupid to ever recognize their wisdom is unwanted and unwise.

  15. I am a Pallister supporter but he frightens me now.
He was almost gleeful announcing fines and enforcers to police everybody (COVID)
I have often thought he coveted power and control , now I know it.
He has completely abandoned typical Conservative values.

    1. Me too! I was a big supporter and he did great things for rural health care but right now, today, he scares the you know what out of me. And he’s not just going after Winnipeg. The MacDonald’s in Neepawa, a small town/city two hours drive away from Winnipeg, was raided by his goons and fined for 5000. Plus he has announced he has hired an outside security firm with 90 people whose job is to find and fine more people. So imagine you are in a store and people are not maintaining the two metre distance. You and everyone else in the store can be fined $1296 each and the store owner can be fined $5000. And this while Manitoba’s numbers are actually dropping and almost all the recent flood of deaths was due to one nursing home violating the rules about staffing. It is sickening. It is so sickening I am seriously thinking of taking my American wife and fleeing south if Trump wins.

  16. I too was a supporter and I think Pallister is a decent and caring gentleman, but for some time he has abandoned any rational thinking and he and his “team” have been basing their medical decisions on mob-polling, and political correctness. Unfortunately he seems to have completely caved in to the radical left wing pro-lockdown activists, after being assaulted with their Halloween trickery.
I have written and phoned my MP/MLA & the Health Minister to voice my concerns and they all seem to dismiss any notion that the punitive measures they are imposing are far more detrimental and negative to the economy and citizens, than their failed policies.
Time to wake up and tell these politicians that we will not accept their Police State tactics.

  17. I know of which you speak. I prefer cooked oatmeal, boiled with raisins and cinnamon. I was raised on the prairies. Family with eight children. Oatmeal sticks to the ribs. Money doesn’t grow on trees. And other lessons that stick to the mind.

  18. A week ago there was a flurry of media attention around a large rural construction site that had a number of positive tests and several social media comments regarding poor site sanitation. I have had a few calls myself from whom I would call very progressive subcontractors suggesting that COVID precautions on some major sites are hit and miss. We know the Province and Dr. Roussin are monitoring these concerns. I don’t want to panic anyone in our industry but we are at a cross-roads here. The stark truth is that if there are construction sites that are not adhering to the fundamentals to prevent the spread of COVID they put the entire industry at risk of being shutdown.

Yesterday morning we had our weekly call with Minister Eichler and he indicated that “they don’t want to have to pick favorites” meaning they don’t want to lock down specific business that are not selling essential goods, or shut down industries that have previously been deemed essential. But at the same time the virus numbers are climbing and healthcare professionals are expressing deep concern about ICU capacity. At some point the Province will have to make the call if we can’t get the situation under control.”

  19. Pallister lied to me, right in my ear, saying he would never introduce a carbon tax.
I’ve lost what little respect I ever had for him, he was just the means to oust the NDP.
Now he has to go, the Party itself, and members better wake up.

  20. In Nanaimo, we’ve also been encouraged to use a ‘fink line’. On Halloween Eve, our RCMP double teamed with ride along health enforcers, looking for people who had the audacity to think they should have a few hours enjoyment after 10 months of lockdown.

Great use of public resources …… kind of like our current council voting to provide free menstrual products in all public facilities because half our population is apparently, no longer able to look after their own personal hygiene needs.

  21. What boggles the mind,is these government types will seek power and apply it in every way to control the taxpaying citizens, yet they will use taxpayer dollars to set up places where people can inject poison straight into their veins….
