I did the Construction/Renovation course at St. Lawrence College in Kingston in 1986 to do total renovations from foundations, carpentry, plumbing and electrical, as the bylaws changed that certified, and license trades were being generated which destroyed my business. A scattered, disorganized force in rural areas isn’t going to hold this country. Again, the left is in control of most of the systems of importance. How are you going to communicate with other patriots to muster up anything more than a band of raiders when Big Tech and telecom completely shut you out? How are you going to get anywhere when you can’t buy gas or food with your cancelled credit cards?
I’m just trying to get conservatives to think really deeply about the speed at which they’re losing their country. I mean, obviously there’s an election, so everybody’s in “wait and see” mode. But the election isn’t really going to solve anything. The left is going to claim victory no matter what, and Big Tech is going to come down on conservatives like a ton of bricks, in order to squash anything that counters their narrative. The left is 50 moves ahead of the right. Conservatives need to open their eyes. Guns alone won’t win the battle ahead.
The world is a vastly different place than it was even twenty years ago. Again, you can’t organize a cohesive resistance if you can’t communicate, and nobody in 2020 communicates without the internet or a cell phone. If any kind of conflict pops off, conservatives are getting locked out. Then what?
And assuming that the military will side with patriots is wishful thinking. Maybe they would, but blindly counting on it would be a serious miscalculation. Most of the top brass in the military don’t like Trump. They’re going to side with the Deep State. It sucks, but it’s true.
And sneaking around in the jungle in 1970 is a bit different than trying to do anything in 2020 with satellites, and drones with thermal cameras, and a million other sophisticated sensors. The American military would snuff out any kind of uprising –left or right– in a heartbeat. Everything you do is monitored. Everything. There are no secrets in 2020.
You’ve been out in the boonies too long. You know who’s leaving San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Seattle and Portland? Progressives. And they’re turning places like Texas and Florida blue. Thinking that you can just sit back ride things out in the middle of nowhere with some guns isn’t just ridiculous, it’s pathetic.
We’ve been conditioned. It’s called “Learned Helplessness”. When a conservative defends his or her property, or acts in self defense, they end up getting arrested while the perpetrator goes free. As such, most conservatives have been conditioned not to do anything.
The point is to get you and others to think beyond simply owning a gun. Without a phone, the internet, and a bank account/credit cards you’re not going to be doing much more than roaming around your neighborhood with a few of your neighbors. The left is lightyears ahead of the right in terms of its ability to organize.
“Learned helplessness” is accurate to a degree, along with don’t rock the boat as I have mine and don’t care if anyone else gets anything. The left have been pushing for over 100 years while we have sat on our asses and accepted it.

I fear you’re exactly right. It’ll be a “dressed up” version of communism, to be sure, but it’ll be effectively communism in all but name. Some kind of 1984-like state where the government and corporate / tech oligarchs run everything, and ordinary citizens are powerless.
As much as I hold out hope that Trump is going to pull out a win, I refuse to ignore all of the polls. Biden’s winning. He’s winning because he’s a placeholder, a generic (D), and nothing more. That’s all he has to be. The Trump hate burns far, far hotter than even the Bush hate burned, and it’s going to drive (D) voters to the polls. And the (D) side will cheat, and cheat rampantly. And the Decepticon (R) party will not stop them, because they hate Trump too and want him gone. They want to return to the “good ol days” of selling America out to China piece by piece, and Trump is in their way.
Biden will resign, at most, 731 days into his term (the job will simply kill him otherwise, and he’s mentally unfit for it, and everyone around him must know it), and Harris will be the one running for reelection in 2024, up against an “approved” (R) candidate who will be just another flavour of commie-lite, Chinese sellout.
God help us all. I think we are staring down the imminent end of the American republic as we knew it. What replaces it will be .. something else. Something that will not be good for anyone in the world.
Agreed on all points except that you seem to think that USA is still a constitutional republic which has not been the case since the coup of 1963.

From this what I get is this: Flynn was ‘investigated’ with the faintest of suspicions and no evidence of wrongdoing for the purpose of having a file open on him after the election, so that he could be spied and an investigation activated after the election if Trump won. After they didn’t find him guilty on anything, they just made up charges and extorted a plea deal to get him co-operative, to get Trump administration look bad, and to tell everything he knows – because they thought Flynn would surely know *something* that is bad for Trump.
That failed, but due to some widespread corruption of the justice system, Flynn ended up having a politically biased prosecutor and a politically biased judge, both of which were willing to put Flynn into jail from the pled crime of lying to FBI, presumably not because Flynn ever even lied, but because he was working for the president they hated for.
I have to admit that when those FBI agents were texting eachother about “an insurance policy,” in case Trump was elected, I NEVER expected it to literally be an insurance policy.
It wasn’t an Ordinary “Errors & Omissions” professional Policy…. Could have been a “Lloyd’s of London” designed coverage for criminal acts….only triggered if charged & convicted.. COST BEYOND REASON…..
This is nasty question but here goes. Just who would you be willing to kill to keep YOUR freedom? Freedom always comes at a price that always involves the letting of blood. The US civil war is an example that many, well not many, those with a brain bigger than a flea can understand. Where brother fought against brother, families against families.
