  1. It’s the CO2 from the traffic that is making it hotter along the I5 corridor. Don’t pay attention to that molotov cocktail throwing dude, he’s green so his fires aren’t the burning kind. Also, he is really green as it is not petroleum product in his cocktail, he is using pure ethanol produced from his neighbour’s organic stock. All very nice and green.

    1. No. CAGW uses the … automobiles … of Global Warming Activists, Anarchists, and Terrorists to spread devastating wildfires. Proving, once again, how utterly destructive automobiles are.

    2. Is it a coincidence the America and Canada have so may utterly stupid people in our populations? I am talking majority here ….

Or is this a natural de-evolution process?

      1. Most animals don’t foul their nests, but liberals are willing to burn their own cities (and now their own states) to regain power and push the myth of CAGW.

      2. It is not a coincidence, Mr. West. Humans thrive in adversity. When living gets too easy, everybody does it. Including the week and stupid.
Government paid healthcare insures that people who are not well enough to look after themselves, survive long enough to breed more people who are not well enough to look after themselves. If you wish to survive what is coming, you need to live where stupid is fatal. Have you ever noticed how smart Inuit are? All the dumb ones froze or were eaten by bears before they made any contributions to the gene pool. Go north young man!

  2. IMHO incineraries are a basic tool of insurrection. Antifa has been using them in cities across the USA. Eco terrorist have lit fires around the world to try and dupe people into believing and justifying their actions. As the Biden campaign stumbles and loses its momentum they at grasping at a different message. Urban insurrection is a fail so drop back to global warming. The message delivery system is well established so enhance it with a few fires.

  3. Anybody who has been watching the news knows the fires (at least part of them) were arson. When 10 years or so ago some of us predicted same we were the crackpots with the tinfoil hats. We still are but we can at least take comfort in knowing we were right.

  4. Climate Change isn’t people creating CO2, it’s people lighting matches.
When do I collect my Nobel Prize?

    1. You have to have a military that’s the largest polluter in the world drop over 20000 bombs in a year to qualify. Good luck.

  5. The farther you get from I-5, the more people are likely to to be armed—and likely to understand that a “journalist” suddenly arriving from out of town à propos of nothing has almost certainly been sent there to set fire to the nearby forest, and needs to be followed by a good man with a gun until the “journalist” gets the message.

Not to mention that Chinese oligarchs prefer their future pieds-à-terre in the US, to be built on the smoking ruins of former American towns, to be an easy limo ride from an international airport.

    1. Gee, too bad it wasn’t in fact her husband.
Vermin like this have ZERO right to live, let alone start fires or pro-create.

It’s an absolute shame we do not have the same inalienable right to defend our property and or person(s) by any means necessary in our Communist Country.

    1. Canadian borders can stop forest fires jumping the border, but not illegal border jumpers?

Something does not add up here.

  7. Well, fires tend to burn with the wind rather than against it. So unless the wind has completely shifted 180º, I’d say it’s not Interstate 5 so much as all the other trunk highways leading to 5.

    Still, arson.

    1. I-5 is too busy, you don’t just pull over on the shoulder and throw a match. But it’s the route to those secondaries.

  8. Unless you want to spend a considerable time digitally navigating the leviathan monstrosity of the USFS for their official report on each fire, the only thing the map shows is that the majority of fires appear to be on federal lands (Region 6, USNF).

  9. Funny no one has mentioned the possibility.
It can be the work of just one gang of arsonists traveling up and down I-5.
