Punch Back Twice As Hard

Foxnews;

The Washington Post is the latest news organization to settle a defamation lawsuit launched by Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann over its botched coverage of a viral confrontation with a Native American elder that had portrayed the Kentucky teen as the aggressor.

Sandmann announced the victory on Twitter.

“On 2/19/19, I filed $250M defamation lawsuit against Washington Post. Today, I turned 18 & WaPo settled my lawsuit. Thanks to @ToddMcMurtry & @LLinWood for their advocacy. Thanks to my family & millions of you who have stood your ground by supporting me. I still have more to do,” Sandmann wrote on Friday.

  1. Ha. Good for Nicholas. Hope he spends his “retirement money” cruising past CNN and wapo offices in a Bugatti Veyron waving at them and throwing 5 dollar bills out the window to attract the homeless to their front doors.

    1. Maybe good for Nicholas, but what about the “… millions of you who have stood your ground by supporting me.”?

Settling out of court in these Covington cases is BULLSHIT and does nothing to expose the lies of the lying leftist media to their brainwashed leftist victims. Nothing less than a court-ordered very public apology and open admission of these entities’ deliberate deceits and purposeful manipulations of well-known facts is acceptable to me.

Not saying the kids don’t deserve reparations but I do not consider this justice in light of the MSM’s despicable and appalling actions. It’s still far too easy for the left to just ignore this and eventually sweep it all back under the rug.

      1. I dunno.
Building a war chest of their money to work the rest of them over might be the plan.

      2. Agree.
Cutting insurance company checks is just fk off money and a cheap cost to destroy America.

      3. Although I don’t totally disagree with you…paying out money in lawsuits is the only way one can be made whole.
Printing meaningless apologies for shi**y journalism isn’t enough of a reprimand for these folks I’m afraid.
And I’d be willing to bet none of us would trade places with Mr.Sandmann if push came to shove, so in my opinion he deserves every penny that’s coming to him.

      4. I dunno.

When conservatives take a punch, they man up and move on.
When regressives get a booboo, they sue endlessly.
I think that avoiding the courts is the biggest “failed conservative strategy”.

Painting the MSM as a target with a big fat $$ as bullseye might be the perfect way to fight back.
And maybe the ideal solution to cancel culture?

    2. ” Hope he spends his “retirement money” cruising past CNN and wapo offices in a Bugatti Veyron waving at them and throwing 5 dollar bills out the window to attract the homeless to their front doors.”

I just had a thought: What if every time I’m downtown near the CBC offices I just emptied my pockets of spare change on the sidewalk in front of their office? Would that encourage the homeless to hang out there?
      What if everybody did that?

  2. He won against CNN and now he won against the Washington Post.

He won because the video clearly shows it was the old indian that harassed him and not what the lying media said.

But there are millions of leftists right now on facebook screaming at us that the main stream media is not fake news, that only right wing paranoid conspiracy theorists believe the MSM is fake news

    leftism is a mental disease

  3. Do not draw strong conclusions from sparse, ambiguous data such as a single picture. Doing so is likely only to reveal your own biases. It’s okay to say “I don’t know what’s going on here. We should wait for video or testimony from witnesses.”

  4. I hope that kid’s lawyers beat the living shit out of his protagonists. They will be worth at least 50% of the take.

      1. O B That’s what happens after a couple of beer with the “boys” over lunch.

  5. He should go after the filthy slut of a writer from SNL who said she’d blow whoever punched him in the face…and kick her in the box.

  6. He’s won a couple of these now. He has so much money now from these clowns that money will not be a concern for the rest of his and his future family’s life. What he should do now is pick a few of these “news” agencies’, journalists’, and social media sitesites’ upcoming cases and simply REFUSE ALL offers to settle out of court. Take it all the way to discovery and litigation and get the whole sordid thing out there. Crush them utterly. No mercy. Its what they would do to us. Like Alinsky said – “make them live up to their own rules”, or something to that effect.

It will take a long time to wind its way through the system, but it will keep it in the news cycle for a VERY long time.

    1. Abso-frigging-lutely, Buzzard.

Win or lose, these media whores MUST be forced to expose for all to see WHAT they did, WHY they did it and WHO they conspired with to do it.

  7. Good.

If Sandmann gets even a small fraction of what he felt he was owed (WaPo presumably offered the minimum required to “make the little punk go away”), he’ll be able to live comfortably for a long time.

Always a good day when payday comes for someone who actually deserves one.

Nice as well to see a good, decent person freed to engage in pursuits only generally open to idle rich globalists like George Soros.

I believe, and hope, that even when all the lawsuits are settled, we will have not heard the last of Nicholas Sandmann—and the globalist hacks will rue the day they made an enemy of him.

  8. Many of the other boys at his school deserve compensation too. Shortly after this BS story broke, several woke activists called university admissions departments and asked them to deny admission to any boy from Sandmann’s school who applied.

  9. Hee, hee….held to the proper standard of defamation, not some pretend “causing offence” leftard attempt to criminalise speech.
As he says “6 more to go”.
Excellent therapy for the left’s media arms.

  10. I notice how everyone here and elsewhere has been mute regarding the utterly disgraceful way in which the local catholic diocese and his school let him swing in the rainbow stench. Not a peep from them since, particularly the repulsive post Vatican II rainbow cult devotees in the catholic church. Crickets. I hope their ‘fix’ to address their treachery encompasses a substantial sum and a written grovelling apology that cravenly begs for forgiveness.

  11. Good for him.I seem to remember when they first announced who they were going to sue, some private names came up as well.
