    1. What has happened to the Media?

      Full fledged five alarm Trump Derangement Syndrome completely engulfing the US Media to the extent the Media is cheering for the thugs, the terrorists, the Communists. Anybody but the democratically elected President.

      Here in Canaduh, after what seems like years of mutual congratulations, backpatting and serendipitous selfies, could someone, anyone please remind the Canadian Media that those politicians they give a daily tonguebath:

      1. Had our Health System in crisis before the crisis became a crisis
      2. Even though health is a provincial responsibility, the excessively over-staffed federal health comrades couldn’t figure out if they were coming or going, initially and until this day. (Masks, no masks. Not transferred to humans. Oops. Transferred. Closed borders are racist. Sorry, no they’re not. We are ALL gonna die! Well, maybe not. Like the man said, closing down is what you do when you don’t have a plan. )
      3. Did not have supplies of the most basic of basic medical necessities, ie, masks, gloves, gowns
      4. No manufacturing capabilities of same
      5. And no way to access any beyond the benevolence of the across the world communist regime
      6. Senior care homes. Need I say anything more?
      7. Debt is the theft of future growth. How much theft is enough?
      8. Theft of the worst kind, theft for political advantage.
      9. And culminating in the most disgraceful, despicable act that can be imagined, using the pandemic as cover for political gain.

      The Canadian Media must step up or step down.

      2. An impressive line-up of bleats and all are valid. However, the right has stood by for the past 50 years, whilst the left took over the educational system, the government bureaucracy, the media, the sports world, the entertainment industry and who knows what else … Oh ya … the huge tech and on-line industries.

        Now they and their supplicants are running our lives into the ground. And we continue to sit back and let Donald J Trump fight for us all on his own. We are getting what we deserve, people.

        Time to smarten up and fight back or are we too fat and lazy and distracted to do anything about our disappearing culture, freedoms and prosperity.?

  2. The current crop of crime dramas are too politically correct. Either that, they are mediums for pushing the Leftist‘s agenda; I.e. anthropogenic global warming, alphabet life forms, whites are racist pigs, etc.

    1. The “re-boot” of Hawaii 5-O was bad for that. Eventually, the show became a parody of the the series it was based on.

  4. They can’t get rid of Barney Miller. He had the most diverse unit in the NYPD. They even did drugs together and dressed like women, a lot.

      One would suggest the Saint John Police Department and the Oland murder case as strikingly good dopplegangers for ye olde Police Academy hijinks in live, living color.
      They certainly won’t miss Barney as it seems they never watched a cop show in their life, given their actions.
      Check it out, the Keystone cops had nothing on those guys.

  6. I tend to watch some police shows on ME-TV. I have noticed that shows from the 90’s onward always show illegals as the victim. It probably goes back longer than that. I think of MASH, once they got rid of Wayne Rogers / MacLean Stevens and Alan Alda seemed to take over running the show how left it became.

  7. Not a police show, although I am sure some of Kingfish’s schemes might raise an eyebrow at the station, I did manage to find Amos ‘n’ Andy on YouTube. I hope to watch at least one full series before it gets cancelled.

  9. This is a perfect example of the idiocy that appears to be taking over everything. These shows are for entertainment. ENTERTAINMENT! Next we will see movies and TV being banned as people might get enjoyment from them. I thought it was only Islamic countries that didn’t allow such things! Heck, if people start enjoying stuff, then they cannot be made to focus on our perceived woes! We must have their full attention, they must be conditioned to wail and kneel in atonement for anything we the mob decide is an attack on our sensibilities! They must be made to fear us! If they are watching TV, then they cannot focus on US! WE must, MUST, be made to care.

  10. Heh, watched some online clip of nattering black women doing something like “The View” going on about how all this can be traced back to the TV series “Cops” where the whole of white society has become brainwashed into seeing Black men chased by white Cops via the series as the normal. LOL

      Is that still on in reruns somewhere?

          Some said he couldn’t act. That is what police shows need, actors who have a permanent surly look and a sour disposition. He stayed in television a long time, acting naturally.

  13. They seemed to have deep six -ed “Law & Order” but still show the
    “L&O Special Victims Unit” one on cable here.
    “Blue Bloods” is okay. Donnie Wahlberg carries the show with his temper displays. Haven’t seen it a year or so.

    I agree with Dennis, “Barney Miller” was a hoot.

    1. They probably ditched Land and Order because no one was watching it anymore. The whole L and O franchise was one of my favourite things on tv. But over time it got so PC I couldn’t stomach it anymore and stopped watching, It’s gotta be 15 years since I last watched any of the L and O shows. It went from being intelligent TV drama to open, undisguised left wing propaganda.

In the German Democratic Republic, the local cop show, Polizeiruf 110, was one of the very few shows where crimes that socialism was supposed to have eradicated but had in fact only aggravated—extortion, theft, fraud, alcoholism, child abuse, rape, juvenile delinquency—could be discussed in anything close to an honest fashion. It was so popular as a result that the show survived re-unification and is still on the air today.

    Perhaps Alyssa Rosenberg would prefer that US TV viewers be restricted to watching folk music on PBS—this being the only entertainment Nicolae Ceausescu still permitted to be shown on Romanian television by the time he was overthrown. (By then Romanian households were reduced to two hours of TV a day alongside three hours of electricity.)

    Actually…no. Balkan folk music is actually fun to listen to. My guess is that she would prefer we watch nothing but African folk singers. Heaven forbid that it be admitted that white people ever made music worth hearing.

    We know the old Hollywood double standard where we heard about how wonderful Hollywood was and how their art was a positive influence on society, never an negative one.
