When The FBI Does It, That Means That It’s Not Illegal

It’s why they were hiding them.

DNI John Ratcliffe has released the transcripts and FBI generated summaries known as “CR cuts” from the telephone calls between incoming National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. [pdf version here].

A fast review of the transcripts shows there was nothing inappropriate or improper about the conversations at all. Quite the opposite: Lt. General Flynn was direct, diplomatic, polite and represented the interests of U.S. policy from both the outgoing Obama administration and incoming Trump administration.

More from Tom Fitton: “He was able to persuade the Russians not to escalate…”

  1. Everyone knows full well that the transcripts would have been leaked long ago had there been anything incriminating in them. The fact that it has taken this long to release them indicates the conversation was benign and diplomatic.

  2. Flynn must know something about those hiding money in Iran… Obama & Valerie have a lot stashed

  3. Of course these got classified, the truth of them does not serve the narrative.
Hopefully Trump has realized there is no quarter offered or to be given.
He played nice, did not seek to “Lock Her Up”,and got ambushed..
Heads must roll. And it makes a great election lead up,if you charge a different Democrat operative each day.
Make orange the new fashion in Washington DC.
