5. I saw photo of a couple in the sand in the skate board park. they had beach chairs, a cooler of corona, a surf board , a guitar and they were thanking the city for bringing the beach closer to them.

   I would bet that the government agency that does this, or ordered this, has a terrible record on pothole filling, road repair and infrastructure upkeep.

9. You don’t understand. The guy who sold the sand is somebody’s brother-in-law, ditto the guy who hauled the sand and the guy who drove the front loader. And when it’s time to remove the sand some more brothers in law will get lucrative no bid contracts because it’s an emergency because summer is upon us and …… slap …. slap. And don’t get me started on the campaign contributions the “contractors” will make.
