    1. “Somewhat racy” if you can understand more than every fourth word. With that Scottish accent, it’s like watching the scrambled pay channels and getting excited because you thought you saw a nipple and then you realize Channel 311 is the Wrestlemania channel and that was probably Brock Lesnar.

    1. Warren. Regina shouldn’t even exist if climate change is real. Too cold and too expensive to service. Shut down the whole town and move it to a neighborhood in Toronto. Sell all their trucks. No more need for sustainability conferences. You’re welcome Regina.

  1. Newfoundland and the Federal Government are in talks to subsidize the province’s electricity rates by up to $600 million per year. The high costs will result from the Muskrat Falls hydro electric construction which will double Newfoundlander’s electricity bills without help from Ottawa.

You give me $600 million and I will give you back $171 million. And we’ll do this until at least 2030.

    1. Man economics is difficult. I wonder when one plus one stopped meaning just that? Or when you have ten cents you can’t spend 20 cents. Of course you all know my opinion of the intellectual capabilities of our fellow Canadians.

    2. And from Churchill Falls power Newfoundland gets $65 million a year, HydroQuebec gets $1 billion a year.

      1. Until 2042 I think. In the meantime I flew across eastern Quebec in a helicopter. Man they have a lot of hydro projects on the go. I sense some negotiating power when that contract is reopened.

  2. Mohawk indians will continue to block the train tracks Saturday between Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto. But police will continue to “monitor” the situation. We obviously need a ten year, sixty million dollar inquiry. Bring out the feathers, drums, liquor bottles, and chants to the sacred tree frog.

    1. John, partly off topic, but in the 1970s I remember how badly the Via trains ran in Ontario. One train I was on, between Ottawa and Kingston, stopped dead in the tracks in some rural area — having to do with a broken transformer or something — and we sat there for hours on end. It was so bad some passengers got off the train and started walking across the fields near by. The rail unions back then were terrible.

    2. A bunch of shitheads gathered in downtown Ottawa yesterday. They collect at

across from parliament Hill. They’re anti-pipeline and We Were Here First Nations are wonderful. They get to march around the city with cops blocking the streets. It goes on all the time maybe even every Friday. I believe they’re associated with Extinction Rebellion. The speaker was dropping F bombs before their march.
They end up by the National War Memorial where they have signs and tents. Seems like a permanent thing.

      1. Now if only they would do without all the benefits of a civil, prosperous, society, hypocrites.

  3. Blackie’s media is outraged that Hitler Doug Ford is saying nasty things about the Democrats and praising Trump.

    1. Hillary must be listening to those Russian bots. Of course, Putin wants her to run so that Trump is guaranteed a second term.

  4. And now the Liberal Party’s Saturday Toronto Star. Because what Toronto thinks is all that matters in Canada. Editorial that Trump sexually abuses women, is racist, a crook, and kicks puppies. Carefully selected letters to the editor that oil sands projects in Alberta are evil. Letters that Doug Ford is Hitler. Heather Mallick explains that Nancy Pelosi is perfect in every way and Trump is Hitler. Tony Burman explains that Trump is Hitler. Star is outraged about anti teacher union ads. Only teacher unions and the NDP are allowed to place ads regarding the teachers strike. Shree celebrates white women paying to attend rants that they are racist bitches. White men are not invited because they are hopeless racists. More Trump and Ford are Hitler stories, Great Leader Trudeau is wonderful, the Liberal Party is wonderful, Canadians are racist bastards.

  5. Among the many Trump and Ford are Hitler stories at the Liberal Party’s Globe and Mail, they have the heartwarming story on how we should help communist China. Yes we should follow the teachings and example of that Canadian communist icon Norman Bethune, and support the brave actions of the communist government of China to fight the virus. We must send them lots of free stuff and embrace our communist brothers like Bethune did.

    1. Aside from being a communist, I heard that Bethune was also a lousy physician, but with left-wing “saints” like him, ideology trumps ability.

      1. Canada’s federal government owns and maintains a museum dedicated to that commie adulterous piece of shit Bethune in Gravenhurst Ontario. In fact awhile back they spent a lot of money fixing it up. Its a favourite spot for Chinese tourists.

  6. About 40 years ago, I became painfully aware of how much the church had been corrupted by secular doctrines. “Social justice”, the “social gospel” were preached regularly from the pulpit. Sadly, being bombarded with such heresies caused me to question my own beliefs and I’m still dealing with that to this day.

    1. Works best and brightest.Honor killings, stoning women to death, throwing gays off buildings, yea lets bring more people like that to our country

    2. Maybe we could offer banking facilities to those Nigerian Generals who periodically ask me for assistance.

  7. JPFO covered turd dough’s AWB in their sendout from last night.
By the way, have you already signed the petition?

  8. Whiny indian update. Indians are now blockading Go Train tracks in Toronto. The police are “monitoring” that situation as well. Heart warming interviews with people in downtown Toronto supporting the Indians.

    1. CBC is now reporting that Via rail has cancelled all trains between Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.

      1. Now one of the Toronto protestors is actually requesting on Facebook if she can borrow a propane heater to stay warm overnight. I do hope the propane is domestic.

        1. Heart warming interviews with the indians blockading the train tracks at Toronto, stating that they are going to shut down the Canadian economy until the Mounties leave the pipeline route. I guess that means we don’t have to give them billions of dollars every year.

  9. Maduro gives up control of Venezuela’s oil industry in an effort to remain in power.

    https://dnyuz.com/2020/02/08/to-survive-venezuelas-leader-gives-up-decades-of-control-over-oil/

“Today, Pdvsa [Venezuela’s national oil company] doesn’t manage our oil industry, Venezuelans don’t manage it,” said Mr. Ramírez. “In the middle of the chaos generated by the worst economic crisis suffered by the country in its history, Maduro is taking actions to cede, transfer and hand over oil operations to private capital.”

For socialism to succeed it is necessary to give up on socialism. Who could have predicted that?

  10. Actor-comedian Orson Bean, known (by me) as the late Andrew Breitbart’s father-in-law, has passed away, at the age of 91. Not a bad run!

“Meanwhile, his politics turned more conservative. His daughter married leading right-wing commentator, Andrew Breitbart. Breitbart died in 2012 and Steve Bannon, later a top adviser to Donald Trump, took over Breitbart’s eponymous website, for which Bean had penned occasional columns.”

  11. The Liberal Party media is excited that Great Leader Blackie gave away ten million dollars to African dictators today.

  12. Post Millennial reports that Kenney has said that Gerald Butts colluded with Obama to kill the Keystone Pipeline. And True North has a couple of stories on energy protestors.

  13. Anybody see the meteroite, or at least very bright light seemingly falling and exploding in the Southern part of Alberta and Saskatchwan today. It was about 5:00 pm MST. It left a plume of smoke when it seemingly flamed out before hitting the ground.
