That “whooshing” sound is Trudeau’s testicles racing to their hiding place.
A pair of Chinese Su-30 fighter jets buzzed a Canadian warship Monday in international waters east of Shanghai, in the East China Sea. The formidable twin-tail Russian-built strike aircraft flew within 300 metres of HMCS Regina, screaming past about 300 metres above the water.
It was the first close encounter between a Chinese warplane and a Royal Canadian Navy warship.

Lock the fuckers up with the fire control radar and watch them peel the fuck off. Not like we didn’t do this shit during the cold war. Oh. I heard Chinese freighters bound for Canada were infested with plague-carrying fleas. Maybe they should be carefully inspected before their cargo is allowed to be offloaded. This may take months…
Exactly, turn on the CIWS.
Are you guys joking?
1) if we had a ballsy captain, he would immediately be called back for court martial
2) but we don’t have a ballsy captain, so he was probably unaware of what was going on until they were in visual distance
3) the radar system was probably not even on, lest the ship consume too much fuel and not be green
4) the radar system has various components missing, as the gov’t does not have an adequate spares policy
5) our navy is a joke, and the chinese know it
Our Armed Forces with one exception are and have been for decades a colossal joke.
The Exception..? The men and Women who know its a joke and still put their lives on the line. THEY I support unequivocably….being a vet m’self, it cannot be any other way.
The Gender Bent pro LGBTQ-Climate Change LIBERAL appointed Brass Assholes in Ottawa….?? I obviously dont.
not to mention the vital electronic components made in Chirer . . . . . .
THIS will be an integral part of MY election lawn sign:

Great, turn on the radar, maybe it works, maybe not. And do what? I would be shocked if they actually have any warshots on board, those are expensive and not made by SNC. The CF is a joke force, it could be swatted aside by several US states national guard units, or any one of about 30 countries. The only shock troops Canada has are part of the CRA, used to terrorize our own citizens in to paying for the leviathan government.

Wonder how Pierre-Lite feels about
their “Basic Dictatorship” now?

At at the end of WW2, Canada had the fourth largest navy in the world; we were formidable. Now, thanks to decades of Lib/Left lunacy, our navy has been put in formaldehyde.
Lib left and now center left cons are equally to blame.
Die hard CPC Member eh, you can’t admit that the single LibCons Party of one have allowed that to happen.
You sound like a Joe know it all without a care of the real truth.
Does the deep state pay your bills?
This is often repeated but somewhat exaggerated. Apart for US Navy and Royal Navy there were no significant navies left afloat. And we were primarily an escort navy not a strike navy. We were definitely punching above our weight but we we’re not formidable.
Today Canada’s military is made up of paper pushing civil servants. As one with a close relationship with the forces I have observed the decline over the last 60 years through successive governments both liberal and conservative. I guess we could put together a couple of thousand men who might be able to put down an unarmed civilian uprising but as far as a war goes, forget it, we will have to roll over and show our bellies.
Exactly. With the exception of the Harper government which at least made a token effort, the various forms of so-called conservative governments since WW II have not been a whole better than the Liberal governments.
If you watch Justin sit down, it is obvious, he has no testicles.
He’s a classic mangina: he panders to women with bromides and virtue signalling while shining his misandry with terms like man camps and people kind. The faux boxing is the beshitted icing on the cake because he thinks it intimidates men when it actually just fertilizes our contempt.
Craig, look at his chin, they are there!!!!
6) our navy is a joke, and the chinese know it
Our government is a joke and the Chinese know it
7) China would only need to release a few of it’s “Canadian strategic assets” embedded in every Canadian city, town, & village across Canada to bring Canada to it’s knees.
Yeah open borders.
“7) China would only need to release a few of it’s “Canadian strategic assets” embedded in every Canadian city, town, & village across Canada to bring Canada to it’s knees.” – Paul
The Canadian government under the Liberals and only to a lesser degree the Conservatives have ignored the advice and analysis of C.I.S.I.S./RCMP Security for the last 30 years. Decisions, including sins of omission have consequences.
The little potato is now the little mashed potato.
And we citizens are now regarded as Brussel Sprouts.
The important story is the transfer of oil by the Chinese at sea in apparent violation of sanctions…..barely mentioned in the story. The fly over is a taunt, yes, but of little significance. Certainly nothing to get your panties in a wad over though. Focus on the real issues!
I hate offering advise on how this can get resolved because its frustrating for one, and I doubt team Sockmonkey would be receptive for another.
However.
The way to get this resolved is to advise the Chinese that if the incarcerated Canadians are not released from custody and returned to Canada within 48 hours a ministerial order will be signed to extradite Meng to the US.
They want her back in China and seem to be taking steps to pressure team Sockmonkey to follow orders from Beijing.
If they get her back in China she will disappear and never be heard from again, she defects her family will never be heard from again.
If she gets into US custody she knows she is safe and can sing like a bird for immunity.
This is why using the prospect of sending her to the US without a hearing would be a proverbial two by four to the head of Xi.
Now if a lowly stooge such as myself has this figured out, its certain that highly paid staff in Ottawa have as well and the PMO is unreceptive or this advise conflicts with “other” priorities such as not derailing the political meme of Trudeau standing up to Trump instead of doing his bidding.
Ask the question, if justin was working for us, what would he have done.
Seeing as he hasn’t, then who is he working for?
Canada needs to act like Adults…Relax, Chill-out.. The press conference with Trump set-up the solution…
China would be making a huge mistake if they waited for Trump to bring up the Canadian Issues….The move is on China to respect, or not…..
The issue is that Justin Received a 1 Million Dollar BRIBE …. one deposited into his Trust fund at one of his earlier Pay to Play Dinners soley for the “who’s who” in the ChiCom diaspora living in and undermining Canada.
That lame useless phuque is protectiing his coin…while he cups his non-existant balls…
What will Little Potato do? Put on angry socks? Put on larger ‘mean’ eyebrows? I know.
“We will always stand up for Canadian jobs. We will always stand up for good paying, middle class job.” (All the ums and ahs have been removed for clarity).
“And something about cardbox water box kind of things.”
Grok, you forgot the hand action !!!!
PM Nutless Wonder is the laughing stock of the G20.
Post Nation Canada is also a military eunuch thanks to LibCon socialism. If we were spending 2 billion a month more on the military instead of debt financing …
Why is there a Canadian warship floating by itself in the East China Sea? Its a gunnery target, perhaps?
It wasn’t by itself; it was escorting a supply vessel. Doesn’t that make you feel so much better?
I’m guessing it was on an anti-piracy protection mission..
“It was the first close encounter between a Chinese warplane and a Royal Canadian Navy warship.”
There were no encounters during the Korean War?
Wasn’t that the very supply vessel (probably the only one operational right now) that Vice-Admiral Norman put his career on the line to champion because the Navy needed a supply vessel instantly, not after three years’ consultations? Understand there are serious issues with the Davy Shipyard, but they did bring this job in on time and under budget. Has the Irvine Shipyard been that good?
“Why is there a Canadian warship floating by itself in the East China Sea?”
Good question, I doubt the true answer has any benefits for Canadian citizens.
Right? And will we have that question answered by the CBC? That was rhetorical, obviously we won’t. If I see the answer at all, it’ll be in a British or American publication.
Better question, will Mr. Scheer stand up in Question Period and demand an answer from the Shiny Pony as to why there’s a Canadian warship in the East China Sea, and since its there why are they letting the Chicoms practice doing missile runs on it?
I very much fear that is rhetorical as well, Mr. Scheer seems like one of those “so smart he’s stupid” Ottawa lawyers.
As if Trudeau gives a rat’s ass about the military.
He does though. They’re great when you need the snow shoveled in Toronto, or when you need to look tough in a photo shoot.
A couple of Chinese jets flew over a Canadian warship. Big deal?
Yawn. Tell me when something interesting happens.
Exactly joe; flying 300 m above a ship isn’t even considered “buzzing” in my aviation vocabulary.
The big deal is that the Chinese apparently are smuggling embargoed oil to North Korea. If that is the case it makes sense that the Chinese Navy was trying to run interference against the Canadian warships which were apparently their precisely to monitor embargo violations.
It certainly was a big deal to the Chinese, who appear to have been mighty ticked off by the warships’ presence.
A friend of mine, who formerly served in the navy, said this was a regular occurrence with Soviet “Bear” aircraft when they were in the North Sea and off the Norway coast. Sometimes you could see the faces of the pilots and observers.
Just talked with an Cold War ex-CAF fighter pilot at lunch and he confirmed that. Except nobody knows WTF is going on inside a Chicom pilot’s head.
Thith doesn’t look good for “tiny testes”. The pucking fuppet that he is, is in a no win situation, as some of the rest of the world leaders are finally clueing in that there is an alpha businessman exposing the cockroaches around the world while being protected by a serious military, “tiny testes” is still taking his orders from the holiday island meeting. Tiny finds its self between a real leader, and an evil socialist wishlist tiny’s been given.
This is outrageous…I’m shocked! Canada has a warship??
FWIW our allies(are the Americans & Japanese still our allies) are conducting exercises in that area.

“Ask the question, if justin was working for us, what would he have done.
Seeing as he hasn’t, then who is he working for?”
If Andrew Scheer had a single policy or goal that was opposed to anything Justin wanted or was working towards, what would he have said by now? What would he have done by now?
We need to get rid of the secret ballot, and start collective punishment on all who are still voting Liberal, Conservative, NDP, Green, Suzuki Foundation, Trudeau Foundation, Bombardier, SNC Lavalin, CBC, …
Well Scheer will or won’t say.
Its kinda moot unless he’s actually PM.
Till then, should the stars align for him, he is left with the mandate to critique team Sockmonkey.
Now has he been effective? I can’t recollect that he has or hasn’t.
I will refer to current polls that suggest he’s statistically tied with team Sockmonkey. Thats statistically, the only poll that counts is this October. I will wish him well on his efforts to unseat team Sockmonkey but the caveat is that no matter the outcome the liberals will not be happy, even if the Sockmonkey gets another majority mandate.
All the things he’s done are for fashionable and transient reasons, not for the long run.
The shelf life on that kind of legacy is short lived, especially if the presumed beneficiaries are still around when the high wears off.
Then they turn on each other.
Now as to the current dilemma with the Chicoms, Sockmonkey has indeed scuttled out the window again to avoid the tough question.
If the Chinese have no intention of bargaining in good faith, what possible reason is there for the the Canadian government to do the same?
If there is no good outcome to this, then why not do something that would cause some grief to the Chicoms?
Issue a ministerial order and send her to the US the Chicoms are never going to bargain in good faith no matter what socks PM Ball-less is wearing.
100% import duty on Chinese goods. If that doesn’t settle down the bullies, increase it to 200%. Why is the US the only country that objects to taking it up the posterior region in international relations?
Connect the dots folks. RCN is doing duty with OP Neon, checking on smuggling and in particular Chinese skirting of NK sanctions.

HMCS Regina caught them in the act. We should be thanking the crew instead of trying to cashier their Captain for cowardice.
It would probably better this time if we didn’t lock them up with our close-in defense radars and countermeasures.
Chinese fighters did their fly past look see to send a message that China doesn’t like getting caught in the act.
As the Captain said it was unusual but not provocative, so the “first ever” part is somewhat misleading.
The link to Huawei is spurious imho, a feint if you like; but that doesn’t mean Dustbin won’t bow to their pressure.
I recall back in the 80’s being deployed off the east coast getting buzzed by the Soviets and on another day having a game of chicken in a fog bank.
It was pretty run of the mill stuff.
This was the military being deployed to show a brave face and to test resolve.
The captain of the Regina did the right thing, maintain course and heading and deploy VDS to get a signature on the subs shadowing the vessel.
Yeah they really hate it when we do that.
In today’s Toronto Sun Mark Bonokoski notes that Trudeau states that “We put ourselves forward as an example of people who treat each other with respect, champion the rights of all and embrace diversity as a strength.” Trudeau also states in the article “Canada has long recognized that we are all better off when we respect and UNITE behind our differences.” So, Justin Competent, no matter how diverse we are it is only a strength when we are united according to you, which makes the only sensible answer.
“Champion the rights of all” unless they are out of work oil patch workers or if it means opposing Quebec’s ban on religious head gear.
“…we put ourselves forward as an example of people who treat each other with respect…”
I’m sure Caeser-Chavannes, Wilson-Raybould, Philpott, and Norman would all have interesting things to say about that.
He’s not going to ‘whip out our F-18s’?
Trudeau was in Japan a while back, I thought he might embrace their culture by bombing Pearl Harbour.
Trudeau’s not going to bomb anything. Bombing is so sordid and disproportional.
Justin prefers rifles and machine guns. After all he was an actor in a WW1 production, so that gives him lots of military experience.
Sarc off
Nah. It was the Germans:

Stan,Just-In forgot to buy extended range tanks with those used 18’s:-)))
I find it interesting that the frigate departed Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam and how that plays into the whole question of Chinese expansionism.
He has cojones?
Who knew?
That “wooshing” sound is Trudeau’s testicles racing to their hiding place.
Ha! It just makes my day. Probably the idea of Kate thinking about the event and immediately equating the associated sound with Trudeau in this manner amuses me the most.
I’m wondering what brings them back out. ( step away from the keyboard )

Russian jets, huh?
Wonder how long the procurement process was to buy those?
