  1. Good, ship her out with a noose around her neck. The sooner we learn that Chicoms are our enemies the better.

    1. Oh my, you DO realise that Canada is now totally and completely effed right? China will reexamine their reliance on Canadian commodity suppliers, and will also consider flooding the market wjith CAD and Cdn treasuries. Dump the dollar. Sell the TSX.

  2. So is it “allows extradition” or as one of the twitter comments says, “allowing proceedings to begin”?
Do lawyers argue her Canadian Human Rights and oppose extradition?
Is there a hearing or do they just ship her out?

  3. The Canadian government allows the extradition PROCESS to proceed.

I believe it will next go to a judge. I don’t know if that is a full extradition hearing or just a preliminary judicial assessment. Even if the judge grants extradition, there will be appeals. It could take years.

Note I have no love for the lady, I’d prefer we just drive her to the US border, but this is going to drag out for a year or two.

    1. year or two? you’re optimistic….

we can expect multiple appeals, somehow it getting involved in the election, then having to wait for a new immigration minister to see if that is really in canada’s interest, followed by more appeals…

  4. You have to just know how the Chicoms are going to play this… “why does the Canadian government selectively enforce this legal matter? “

  5. Doesn’t Meng Wanzhou qualify for a deferred prosecution agreement? Change the damned law, you do it all the time.

I guess there aren’t many Chinese votes in Trudeau’s riding.

  6. Bad luck for Ms. Meng that the Liberals need something, anything, right now to change the media cycle to something other than Lavscam.

  7. You know one thing for sure, the DOJ is searching for a great defence lawyer, an incompetent Crown, and a Yank-hating judge.

  8. The newly appointed Justice Minister, David Lametti has the final say on extradition.

Why did Justin Trudeau appointed the Lasalle-Emard-Verdun MP?

    ● Was it because Lametti can be persuaded to quash the extradition?
    ● Was it because Lametti can be persuaded to give SNC Lavalin a DPA?
    ● Was it because Lametti can be counted on to do any and all the biding of the PMO?

    1. #2 on your list. There’s a multi-billion dollar pipeline contract coming up, so the Libranos need to have their kickback scheme in full operation.

Why is it that when there’s a good way and a bad way to handle something, our PM always manages to find an even worse way to deal with the problem? That applies for both the pipeline purchase/build and the SNC Lavalin debacle.

      1. “our PM always manages to find an even worse way to deal with the problem? ”
LOL !! memorable quote CM. can I use that in my homemade election signs?

  9. China will hammer the SNC angle. If the Chinese get a serious hate on for Canada, it will not go well. If you own Cdn real estate as part of your life’s savings, you could be in for a tough time. And if they start retaliating against their pals who also trade with Canada, well, was nice knowing ya. I really don’t think Canadians realise how badly Trudeau has boned Canada.

  10. I figure the Donald would take his bat and ball and go home early at some point.
    allllllll part of NEGOTIATING.
ya gotta be prepared to walk away and the ONLY way the opposition is going to know that is if you DO it.

Q to the critics: you sign the offer on the very. first. place. the. real. estate. agent. shows? hmmm?
or do you ‘walk away’ seeking better terms? hmmm?

  11. she will never go to the US….Chinese special forces or some other group will slip her out quietly….
