  2. This is actually quite sinister. You can bet that none of the positives will come out in that story. And since some of the negatives will just be typical of a bad school experience, the eventual piece will likely just distort the picture. Would he do the same regarding Muslim schools? Now, I am speculating about his intentions, but it does not look entirely above board to me.

    1. The main student (Sandmann) family has hired the lawyer who successfully sued for the JonBenet Ramsey family, the falsely accused security guard Richard Jewell (Atlanta Olympics) among others. Canada actually has weak libel, slander laws as Ezra Levant knows from his comment about Soros. CBC better make an abject apology, admit their total error, and no half assed sorry if anyone was offended BS

  4. The ultimate irony is that kids who graduate from Catholic and Christian schools are FAR BETTER educated than anyone with a diploma from a US Public School. The Christian School curriculum hasn’t been infected by “Common Core” or any other PC mind control. Add to that the kids who are Home Schooled are even BETTER EDUCATED than the diploma mills known as public schools. The public school curriculum has been dumbed down into a pathetically incomplete sketchy jumble of nonsensical propaganda force-fed to our children. The Public schools are doing to America’s children what Adolph only dreamed of accomplishing.

    I suspect this NYT’s writer is desperately protecting his position and power from those much smarter and better educated than himself. Oh … and I am willing to bet he’s also a Pffagh who is now “married” to his butt-buddy and just showing his … LGBTQqUtoo LOVE … for all people. *cough* *cough*

    1. @Kenji, I hail from the Pittsburgh area, before immigrating to Canada. The Pittsburgh area has a high Catholic representation (I graduated from Duquesne University, the Catholic university in Pittsburgh), given lots of historical immigration from Eastern and Southern Europe. Anyways, way back then some of the public high schools were (are?) dangerous and poorly-run, so much so that non-Catholic parents would fork over lots of dough to send their kids to Catholic schools. The kids got a safe and superior education there.

      P.s., the U.S. has a history of anti-Catholicism, from the extremist right. But now days the hatred comes from the extremist left, like the New York Times.

      1. And David, I am a hard core, right wing, Fundamentalist (I guess?) Protestant Christian … who adores Catholics, Catholic Schools, and even mean-faced Nuns! There’s not enough doctrinal difference between my personal beliefs and the Catholic Church to quibble over. Worship Mother Mary? No. Admire Her? Sure. No big deal.

        PS … Notre Dame covering the Columbus Murals? WTH is WRONG with Catholic Colleges today? They’ve all become leftist indoctrination factories! You should consider yourself LUCKY to get a high quality education from Duquesne … before it was taken over by the PC brigade. Or has your alma mater resisted the malaise?

  8. Comments on the American Conservative site suggest that many Americans have reached their limit. I don’t blame them. America is no longer an open, free and morally Christian nation (that is espousing Christian values). I think it is close to being a nation of psychopaths.

  10. I am sure as a “professional Journalist” Mr Dan Levin will respect the privacy of any foolish enough to respond to his agenda driven posting…
    However under modern Journalistic standards I know he will not only ignore any real responses but can be relied upon to created correspondence that backs up the article he has already written….Evil Catholic predators…

  12. i used to live less than a block away from Calgary Christian school. To be honest I would have rather gone there than the public school 5 blocks away. The students I met there in the playground seemed better mannered and friendlier too.

  15. The North American left need a new logo and I would suggest crossed shovels. One shovel represents that they are continually digging for any kind of dirt on what or who they disagree with and the second shovel represents what they’ll beat us with once they dig something up.

  16. As the owner of a vending company I had vending machines in a christian university and a christian high school. I can tell you without a doubt that the students, for the most part, were the most polite, honest and respectful kids I had ever come in contact with. One of my more interesting stories is that I had serviced a snack machine and forgot to lock it. When I returned some days later I noticed that someone had removed some product and left the money on the inside floor of the machine. Another time at the same institution the machine “jackpotted”(spit out all the coins in the change maker).Some student collected in all and notified me.
    On the other hand I had a machine at a secular institution that malfunctioned allowing product to be dispensed without paying for it.When I got there the machine was EMPTY.

  17. For some measured analysis of the outcome of the differing school systems I would recommend investigating the work done by Cardus. They admittedly come from a Christian world view but their research is peer reviewed and willing entered into the market place of ideas for scrutiny.

  18. Notice that Levin’s aim is to destroy the only schools that provide safe environments and sound education in some of the worst inner city neighborhoods, at an affordable tuition.

    This lack of concern for black children’s future is absolutely racist, but then, that’s the heart of the criminal conspiracy that masquerades as the “ democratic” party.
