He should have stayed in the Conservative party. If they get elected, he’s in as a cabinet minister with a powerful base. If the Conservatives loose, well Max is in great position to lead the party.
Or he stays in the Conservative party, but pushes for proportional representation (which I hate). Once enacted, Max coul leave, knowing that under proportional representation smaller parties can end up with a disproportionate amount of influence due to the proclivity for minority governments.

Will a vote for the PPC be a wasted vote? That could be argued should it be the difference between a win or loss for Scheer and the Conservatives. The NDP is no where to be found and I suspect any hint of strength by Sheer will see their support move to the Liberals. On average it’s 60/40 left vrs right. Max may make the conservatives realize “out Liberalling the Liberals “won’t work either. Max is definitely more conservative, but the question of his trustworthiness is yet open. He is a politician,but there definitely is a need to shake things up.
