Fewer Pavilions At Fordfest

Hitting the ground  running;

Blaming Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government for creating “a mess,” Premier Doug Ford’s new Progressive Conservative administration is withdrawing Ontario’s co-operation with Ottawa on resettling asylum seekers, the Star has learned.

Ontario Children, Community and Social Services Minister Lisa MacLeod told federal Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen that Queen’s Park is stepping back from the migration crisis. […]

That could sound the death knell for the Canada-Ontario Immigration Agreement signed by former premier Kathleen Wynne last November.

You don’t say.

    1. Well so far, I agree with what Doug is doing.
There could be signs of an intelligent conservative there.

  1. This is great. Feds have always played the savior while provincial/municipal governments pay for it.
But here’s something annoying. Sooner or later a kind of semi-literate lefty is going to stumble over Brave New World and scream about how we’re now living under “Fordism” as depicted in that novel.
Or they’ll just keep it simple and just use the usual hitler! crap.

      1. I regard that as insulting to Ford.
        Trump is an idiot.
Doug has yet to prove himself as a trumpet.

        1. Indeed. Ford can put together coherent sentences and does not exhibit signs of mental illness.

  2. Well when ya read the article….Ford wants the Govt of Canada to pay for it….I replied, how about we TASK the LIBERAL Party to PAY for it.

Why the hell should Canadian Taxpayers be on the hook for assinine Tweets from Tinkerbell and his sycophants…??

They wanted it, let them open their homes and pay the piper.
I got enough on my hands with that twat of a Mayor in Calgary pushing up our property Taxes for his legacy Dreams.

$173/mo for a 2 bdrm condo if you can believe that. For Calgary that is beyond insane.

  3. Off topic here but I agree that Calgarys mare is a jackass.

Red was in Calgary today (stampede) to pass out some cash for the ring road. The election is less than a year away so she did a little campaigning. Told the proles that Calgary has recovered from the oil crisis of 2014 and by extension those nasty conservatives. Red failed to acknowledge that the downtown vacancy rate is 25-30%. Some recovery.

    1. She obviously didn’t venture past the photo op venue. Even just taking the C-train through downtown one can see “for lease” signs along 7th Avenue. It gets worse when you go northward.

  4. I read the agreement and didn’t see who was paying the RCMP for Handling Luggage, shinning Shoes, and doing the Landry while they are playing an Acting ROLE in the UN international law rehearsal…..Must be French volunteers

  5. All part of the Obama – Soros globalization playbook, if you don’t like the political views of the people in a particular country, time to change out the people.

  6. A dynamic, aggressive Ontario open for business and committed to prosperity is good news for the West (and Canada as a whole).

It is also bad news for our Dear Leader and his student council in Ottawa.

So more winning, two times over!

    1. But nobody takes it better than you, NumUNuts. Why don’t you go over to India for a while and tell us what you see.

  7. The jackass who is our PM is currently on CPAC defending his govts actions toward these “refugees”.
None of our presstitutes dare to ask him,or have the brains to think.
If they enter from USA,definitely a first world country, meeting none of the criteria of a failed state, they are not refugees as defined by the progressives beloved United Nations.
So how does Justin figure they are Refugees?
Opportunists of the first order, what might they be seeking refuge from?
What in the USA do they now fear?
    Losing their Food Stamps?

    1. “If they enter from USA,definitely a first world country, meeting none of the criteria of a failed state, they are not refugees as defined by the progressives beloved United Nations.”

I really don’t care what the UN has to say. It matters not that they are coming immediately from the US, they are ultimately fleeing dangerous homelands. They are heroes out to better their and their loved ones’ lives.

      1. So how many are sharing your home so far Unamed one?
        Safe bet.
        Zero. 00000000000.000000
        Like the zero’s you worship.
So what is your definition of a “refugee”?
        Seeking refuge from?
Naturally this is chumming the water as I do not believe you are capable of an intelligent response.
But who knows you could be “Progressive Pat” in full retard mode.

        1. The number in my home is irrelevant. The important part is getting them in my country.

      2. Heroes don’t flee their homelands but nice try at changing the meaning of the word. Not.

      3. UnMe – “They are heroes………”

Yes, plenty of your fleeing hero’s have gang raped and murdered their way across Europe.

No worries, in time we will stop you bastards.

  8. “Obviously, it’s better if we can work collaboratively with the provinces,” said Trudeau, who said he reminded the newly elected premier that he, also, had a big “mandate” from voters.

    Let’s test that next year.

    1. As I recall, his “big mandate” was less than Stephen Harper received when he got his majority. But the MSM will continue to grovel at our PM’s feet.
