He needs to have his viewers see less of him as his bouncing and goofy hair is distracting and what’s with the “aboots”? Is he playing to a US audience and trying to reinforce the rarely spoken stereotypical Canadian pronunciation?
Yes to everything in your comment, especially the “aboot” thingy. The only people I have ever heard pronounce “about” as “aboot” were just off the boat from Scotland.
And I, too, can’t wait for the letter “C”, Canada, China, etc., just to see the adulation over Trudeau.
The only people I’ve heard it from are Americans and Brits telling me that’s how Canadians pronounce it, and JJ McCullough. He must be trying hard.
I think he is trying very hard. He also says “aroond” for “around” – just to be consistent with his artificial, mock-Canadian pronounciation, I suppose.
I ran across an article by him in National Review which he writes for sometimes. In Time for a Compromise on Transgenderism he asks that conservatives compromise in a similar way to the way we evolved on the issue of homosexuality – by no longer being “immature” and “demagogic” aboot it. We are to no longer practice the “cruel bigotry” of “arbitrary discrimination against transgender people.” In other words, accept it and shut up aboot it.
All he asks of progressives seems to be that they take it slow, realizing I guess that conservatives are notoriously reluctant to change but will always eventually come aroond. He also asks that progressives not encourage or enable prepubescent children to “embrace” transgenderism. Well, bully for him! However he says nothing aboot what happens at puberty after which obviously anything goes. In the US and Canada nowadays puberty usually occurs in girls between the ages of 10 and 14, while in boys it’s between the ages of 12 and 16, (according to medicinenet.com).
And will “progressives” really leave the prepubescent children alone once the transgenderism mania has gained widespread approval? Not likely!

Edit: Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the effort to educate people, and his taking an interest in world events – but talk about distracting!
I’m taking a wild guess here but he may have Parkinson’s Disease or a related affliction. He can’t keep still. Good voice and delivery but constant movement is distracting. Interesting though.
