The Office of Professional Responsibility, which is the FBI's Internal Affairs, in an extremely rare event (which suggests something serious was found) asked that he be fired and according to the likes of Alan Dershowitz and Jonathan Turley AG Sessions had little choice. This is NOT a Trump firing despite what the Media will report. In fact Globals useful idiots started only minutes after the announcement. Washington Correspondent Jackson Proskow is making McCabe out to be the victim and our favorite Global idiot David Akin is blaming Trump.

Laura Ingraham had a kicker of a panel discussion on this topic tonight. ALL highly intelligent pundits, who know the law and how the FBI is supposed to operate. McCabe 'lacked candour,' ie, he lied to the FBI and he leaked, along with his other transgressions. Contrary to McCabe's statement tonight, Trump is not responsible for his firing. The FBI ethics board recommended it.

Will be interesting to see if he ends up on the Clinton payroll.

If McCabe and his accomplices abused their power and lied to create legal perils for Trump, can Trump sue them for his legal fees? I don't know if they'll ever be jailed, but I would be satisfied with them being financially destroyed.

Just to throw a fly into the ointment, according to Pattyann Brown on FoxNews a few minutes ago, McCabe always voted Republican, unlike many of his coworkers, except for this last election. He apparently did not vote at all. Brown did not provide any evidence for this.

Trump's goal is to drain the swamp. It's surprising how many swamp rats identify as Republican.
I think Trump has some very strong backing and is confident enough to let many of the rats continue in power so their crimes can be more fully documented. Also it takes time for the public to be informed and brought onside.

On Saturday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Smerconish,” George Washington Law Professor Jonathan Turley stated that former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe’s dismissal and his statement on the firing raise “serious questions about Comey’s previous testimony and could get him into serious trouble.”

Turley said, “[T]his could easily spin further out of control. There was one line in McCabe’s statement last night that I immediately flagged. Because he said that he had authority to do this and he conferred with the director. The director at that time was James Comey. Now, the problem there is that James Comey said under oath that he never leaked information and never approved a leak. So, if the inspector general believes this was a leak to the media, it raises serious questions about Comey’s previous testimony and could get him into serious trouble.”
