When The FBI Does It, That Means That It's Not Illegal

FBI disciplinary office: Fire McCabe.

The FBI office that handles employee discipline has recommended firing the bureau's former deputy director over allegations that he authorized the disclosure of sensitive information to a reporter and misled investigators when asked about it, leaving Attorney General Jeff Sessions to decide whether he should fire the veteran official just four days before his expected retirement date, people familiar with the matter said.

The recommendation from the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility is likely to add fuel to the political fire surrounding former deputy director Andrew McCabe, who abruptly stepped down from his post earlier this year but technically remained an FBI employee.

Update: Is it a trap?

Speculation from some quarters is if this is a squeeze play to get him to testify as to who above him was pulling his strings. Personally I doubt it. I am sure there is enough evidence to convict Obama and his cabinet if there is the will to do so.

An excellent telling of the Steele Dossier and collusion story. It is long but very well written. It's like a good spy novel.

The Real Collusion Story

In a textbook example of denial and projection, Trump foes in and out of government wove a sinister yarn meant to take him down.

Whatever happens, McCabe's pension is safe. It can only be taken if he is convicted of a short list of felonies, like insurrection, sedition or espionage. Normal felonies like theft, rape, or murder? Your federal pension is safe.

Fire McCabe today, and he still collects 99.9% of his pension.

How much will he collect if the Clintons add him to their list?

7 – Ed Willey – Clinton fundraiser, found dead November 1993 deep in the woods in VA of a gunshot wound to the head. Ruled a suicide. Ed Willey died on the same day his wife Kathleen Willey claimed Bill Clinton groped her in the oval office in the White House. Ed Willey was involved in several Clinton fund raising events

There is a 100% chance McCabe will not receive his pension if he is fired by this coming Friday. In 5 days he will have completed the minimum number of years required to receive it. That is why this recommendation coming out now is significant. I would not be surprised if this announcement will be used as leverage—as an FBI employee, McCabe cannot use the 5th Amendment to protect himself if questioned by his employer. The carrot for cooperating is to keep his pension. The stick is losing it should he choose to clam up.

Penn State's Sandusky still collects a pension so yeah, you pretty much need to be a mass murderer in order for you to be denied your pension. Take a bow progressives.

Grow one, Jeff. Fire his ass!

Interesting take on this at Conservative Treehouse....

The FBI-OPR has painted Sessions into a narrative of controversy either way…. and the leak about it seems to prove the FBI’s internal Machiavellian intent.
