A colleague of mine is vegan. Very smart in her technical field. But batsh*t crazy insane on the vegan front.

Believes entire bee hives are exterminated to harvest honey. Believes sheep are slaughtered and dissolved in solvent for their wool -- "lanolin is dissolved sheep". Believes animals only eat each other in the wild because of the pressures of human predation.

I don't understand how someone can have a STEM education and function in a technical industry and yet still believe this sort of nonsense.

We know people who lived in the advertising world ...all those T.V. ads with delicious looking food is all fake food. The hot studio lights would destroy any food that is being filmed if it were real food. You know, the tomato slice has to have the fresh looking water drip on it, just so. By the same token, the photo with the dumb broad lying in excrement is all fake excrement! How ignorant do they think we are?

Oh yes and I have it from a good source that vegans eat meat. It seems they are undernourished and have health problems otherwise. They have learned to cook, and eat meat hiding. You see they have to stay alive so they can foist all this Agenda 21 stuff on you. They live, you die!

My Niece is an anthropologist. She told me that the main reason that humans developed, especially intellectually, is that they eat meat. Humans have developed their intelligence due to the fact that they consume protein.

It makes sense to me. I am not sure that I have ever met a smart vegetarian or vegan, although I am smart enough not to say that to their face!
