The gentrification of Sunnyvale? Where WILL all the white kids live? Oh that’s right ... they’re moving into downtown Oakland.

https://localwiki.org/oakland/Gentrification

That house looks like a Mississauga tear-down.

It will either be a tear down ... and rebuild into a McMansion ... or ...

... as has been happening throughout Silicon Valley’s outlier (read: poorest) communities ...

... it will have been purchased by a Chinese-national, and will be (illegally) converted into a multi-family residence, with as many as 8-unrelated people living in a single home, in a single-Family zoning district. And the local Planning Departments do NOTHING about it ... because they might be “racist” for evicting the Chinese. And because they love the Socialist idea of Dr Zhivago’s Home seized by the Bolsheviks for multiple families to reside. The new Chinese owners partition-off every room in the house and cut 4-5 new exterior entry doors around the house ... and voila! The home becomes an apartment building. And in doing so ... the buyers actually turn a profit on their $2 Mil. investment.

Trust me. I’m “in the business” ... and this is happening throughout the fringe communities in Silicon Valley ... usually on the East side of The 101. The 100% leftist local governments all turn a blind eye.

This explains all the people living in tents. You might as well live in a tent if the option is a situation like that which must still be horrifically expensive if someone making a profit off that investment.

Yes ... they can charge nearly $2k/mo. for those rooms (with benefits ... I.e. common bath and kitchen). $ 10k/mo. rent will service nearly $2 mil. in mortgage payments if you structure it right.

Where's UNME and his comments to give us our daily belly laugh?

I'm sure it would love to comment, except it can't count that high.

Or maybe they want the land to build a chicken coop.

The Silicon Valley elite’s latest status symbol: Chickens

Instead of cobbling together a plywood coop with materials from the local hardware store, the rare birds of Silicon Valley are hiring contractors to build $20,000 coops using reclaimed materials or pricey redwood that matches their human homes. Others opt for a Williams-Sonoma coop — chemical free and made from sustainable red pine — that has been called the “Range Rover of chicken cribs.” Coops are also outfitted with solar panels, automated doors and electrical lighting — as well as video cameras that allow owners to check on their beloved birds remotely.

p.s. When did "Range Rover" become the new synonym for Cadillac?

UNME & Allen S? They're both back at the tariffs R US thread, still lecturing us on how stoopit Trump & all the SDA Trumpers are & dazzling us on how smart they are. I swear, those two probably work/sarc at CUPE.

work, work you say at CUPE:-)))

Work and CUPE shall never meat....meet!!!!

Kenji, around here the Sikhs will build a "chicken coop" in the back yard, 8 X 12, and you can see 8 to 10 turdbin jockies roll out in the morning, to the shitter in the house basement.

It’s true. A chicken coop is one of the most popular virtue signaling alternative lifestyle trends at the moment. Hint: check with your local Planning Regulations for livestock rules.

Nice little bungalow. I wouldn't pay more than $250K for it.(the fence looks like it has black wood rot)

madness. complete madness.
