I Amuse Myself

I notice comments closed on article. The names are too ethnic so no comments allowed.

It is called catch and release policy.

Scum like this should never see the light of day again. Singapore has it right with people like this.

So he provides fentanyl laced cocaine to drug addicts, three of whom die, and he isn't charged with murder nor manslaughter? Interesting.

What we really need are more laws. /sarc

Just following the Obama and BLM template for ... “crime and non-punishment”. Insisting that our prisons are disproportionately filled with Brown-skinned drug offenders. All “non-violent” drug offenders of course. Non-violent, because they hadn’t yet needed to use their illegally obtained firearms. So the Sask. Judge is legislating social justice from the bench.

As of Wednesday, police had not received any drugs.

The gaping incompetence of these people is astounding. Every move they make is designed for goodwill-sounding headlines ... nothing else

Waiting for UnMe to Respond.

Media, once again, hides the name of the judge !

Thank Allah guns weren't involved or this guy would be locked up until his culture and religion were taken into account, which might have meant he'd not be released for another week!

I suppose there's no chance he'll skip out while on bail, and disappear into the nearest ethnic community?

I notice there are no comments allowed whenever there's a possibility the narrative might not be adhered to,so often it's beginning to look like the 90's all over again, when editors simply refused to print contrary letters.

i guess the glorious age of two way communication with the media is over.

I suspect that if you look up records they'll show he has been taught the same lesson a few times before but is learning something different from what the judges think (or just pretend?) they are teaching.

"The defendants, Azad Kabani, Japmanjot Grewal and Shervin Beeharry are not from Saskatchewan". Really? And there's a publication ban, because....? Good point that the judge isn't named.

Muslims are innocent even after proven guilty. A policy that keeps the Aga Khan from hammering Justhin on the phone every day.

Betcha each one of these 3 people who died, originally started with pot.

Isn't that right, Justine?

"Police have made the unprecedented move of putting out a suspect drug dealer’s phone number and street name and asking anyone who may have bought drugs from him to turn them in to police headquarters."

As of Wednesday, police had not received any drugs."

I bet they didn't see that one coming.

Thank goodness it wasn't a toxic white male who engaged in hate speech, such as fat-shaming, eh?

Dope is poison

Judges won't start giving out serious consequences for serious crimes.

That would restrict their incomes as they won't be backlogged with repeat offenders and have the opportunity to demand higher incomes and show their "importance" to our society.

Precedent Law is a major contributing factor as well. When social activist judges give limp-wristed sentences and incoherent and twisted rulings from their benches, these new "rulings" become the next benchmark in law. Unfortunately, those who remember Romper Room, their benches are at a child's desk level now. This judge just lowered the precedent to a new level, he should be ruling from a carpet soon.

Publication bans by "appointed" judges also ensure their insulation from scrutiny and accountability to the community as a whole. Time to have elected judges, those who put up platforms and demand that we the people have a say in the integrity and character of whom we have ruling over us.

Captcha got it: raser place

kenji says... “crime and non-punishment”

it starts here...

he's not a batsh!t serial killer... just a
"a very challenged young man."

*

hay fwanker, most addicts start with booze, most smokers stay smokers, try keeping up, or you may mistaken for Unme!!

A few bad doses here, a few bad doses there, oh well they brought it on themselves. And the judges treatment of the drug dealers? Typical for the society of today that some of us don't actually want.

*
rob83 says "Waiting for UnMe to Respond."

funny you should ask, rob... he already did...

"The only outrage here is the continued persecution of people for
committing non-crime such as drug dealing and owning guns."

*

Releasing criminals(accused)posing such a danger to public safety is, in effect, an act of Contempt of Court.

Because, it brings the administration of justice into disrepute.

A few decades ago, public safety was the guiding principle for the judiciary.

The Liberals replaced that with rehabilitation being the top priority in sentencing.

Public safety is over ridden by utopian fantasy written into the law.

A majority of judges appointed by the Liberals share their same ideology.

Thus the Charter becomes interpreted, not to respect Common-Law, but to replace it with Cult. Marxism/identity politics, in which criminals are defined as "the oppressed".

After passing M-103, no judge wants to be labelled as "Islamo-phobic".

No federal political party has campaigned on making public safety the priority for sentencing.

I predict that will not change.

"Betcha each one of these 3 people who died, originally started with pot."

I'll take that bet and say they started with wine or beer instead.

Could the three accused by from the Sikh community? Apparently they're having a problem with their young men getting into drug dealing.

*
"oz says... they started with wine or beer"

you're missing the point, guys. anyone willing to buy
non-prescription drugs from a dirty, unwashed biker in
their local sleazy booze can - deserves whatever happens
to them.

you consume mystery meds, fraggle-rock, it's on you!

"Dope is poison"

Honestly Kenji, that simple statement is so mired in ignorance that I was more surprised at my own reaction to it than your supposed point. It truly bothers me to see someone who's opinions I otherwise give some weight to blabber such outrageously dishonest rhetoric.

Dope is not poisonous, I don't believe they have even found a level considered toxic, yet. Now, alcohol in comparison, that IS a poisonous drug with countless amounts of deaths and societal destruction left in it's wake. This stark difference is NOT even debatable. I invite anyone wanting to challenge these simple facts to supply proof. I mean PROOF, not emotional wringing of hands. Please do the research, actually, I DARE you to! At the very least you will strip away some of your ignorance and have a more evenly balanced viewpoint.

BTW, where is your outrage and holy crusade to ban that evil child-killing DRUG, called alcohol, from society? Since I'm guessing many here enjoy the odd drink, do you not see the brutal hypocrisy in play here?

Here'a a news flash for many... OUR KIDS ALREADY HAVE RELATIVELY EASY ACCESS TO MARIJUANA AND HAVE FOR DECADES!!!

Despite your hardest prayers and wishes, weed is NOT going away anytime soon. Legalizing it is the only way to control quality, and thus safety. Ironically, it is ONLY anti-pot crusaders who wish to keep billions of profits in the hands of 'criminals' instead of government(ya, I know, what's the difference)and YOU ARE THE ONES who also put a healthy portion of our young population in direct danger of death by evil scum like Kabani.

Thank God he'll be spending his time on bail living with his Dad who has been able to raise such a good kid so far.

*
"frances asks... Could the three accused be
from the Sikh community?"

what are you saying, frances? I mean, "diversity

sweet baby jebus!

*
"canadian observer bleats... the only way to control
quality, and thus safety"

"Health Canada says it will begin random testing
of medical marijuana products to check for the
presence of banned pesticides after product
recalls affecting nearly 25,000 customers led to
reports of illnesses and the possibility of a class
action lawsuit."

From the folks who brought you the Phoenix
payroll system.

*

Ya, I think our kids deserve to die for making bad choices, too.

and your ignorance is hangin out. Most drug dealers have very little ot zero to do with bikers. Many are every day citizens who frequent the same places you do in every day life. And this makes it harder to break the cycle of drug dealing. Tho I agree with buying garbage and ingesting/injecting as being utterly stupid, and have NO sympathy with those who "accidently" OD and kick off!

On a similar topic about cultures and diversity, drugs and rape we now have a prime example of where we are headed.

http://takimag.com/article/englands_assisted_suicide_jim_goad/print#ixzz5ATBl5cIj

When the government and the courts are more interested in protecting the guilty than the truly innocent, then we have failed as a society. If Canadians do not believe that what is happening in the UK and the rest of Europe cannot happen here then they are truly delusional.

Yeah, screw those Thalidomide and Tylenol users. They shoulda bought government approved safe drugs.

Holy sh*t, do you even conceive the stupidity of the point you are bleating?

Following your logic, we are safer dealing with bootleggers than Labatts. Did everyone here get that clearly? NEO believes that all of us would be safer drinking backwoods moonshine than Crown Royal. At least that is the hypocritical bullsh*t that he just finished trying to sell us on how the weed industry should work.

If I were your lawyer, I would advise you to stop talking before you really expose the real depth of your ignorance. But, I'm not, so please tell us more about this evil weed and your apparent belief that people deserve to die for ingesting it.

The meme that backwoods moonshine is dangerous is a myth created by the U.S. government during the alcohol prohibition era.

I certainly didn't call moonshine dangerous(Ha, maybe Screech). It was a simple reference to the general safety or trust inherent in regulated and unregulated drug marketplaces.

And the FACT that the US government pushed the 'dangerous moonshine myth' does not eliminate the FACT that people really did die from ingesting bad moonshine, too.

*
"I think our kids deserve to die for
making bad choices, too."

sorry, oprah... becoming a junkie isn't a
sub-optimal "life choice"... it's actually
assisting in your own suicide... and
picking up a little hiv or hep c along the
way.

see... there's this thing called "parenting"...
oh... never mind.

*

"the FACT that the US government pushed the 'dangerous moonshine myth' does not eliminate the FACT that people really did die from ingesting bad moonshine, too."

Did they? Do tell. Really, where do you get that from?

We live in a world where getting reliable heroin is a problem.

Uhhmmm, we were talking about weed.... not heroin or meth. You do understand that there is a MASSIVE difference, don't you? Please tell me you understand this, because, if you don't, you are completely lost.

Industry regulations and corporate pride in their product quality/reputation will be the best available insurance against tainted weed. Unless you have a better...

oh... never mind.

Ha, how about this?

You stop wasting my time and then YOU prove to the rest of US that no one has ever died from drinking bad illegal hooch.

Good luck with that mission.

*
"can-knob whines... we were talking about weed....
not heroin or meth."

hey, '8-mile'... maybe you should read slower...

"judge grants bail to man charged with trafficking
fentanyl, weapons charges. 3 dead."

*

"can-knob.... 8-mile" Well, aren't you just a class act with lots of great insight to share on the topic.

If you want to impress people with your wit and intelligence, try an intelligent response to ANY point I have made. I tell you what. You refute ANY point I have made on weed in a clear and respectful manner and I will show you the same in kind.

BTW, let's be clear here, YOU challenged MY reply to Kenji that was strictly about his DOPE comment. Don't try some chicken-sh*t game now in an effort to deflect your inability to offer ANY proper comment on the topic. YOU invited yourself into this, I sure never asked to be dragged into the hell-hole that is trying to communicate with you.

Also, BTW, I am becoming more and more convinced that the vast majority of Conservative 'weed pro-prohibitionists' don't give a damn about weed itself. No, I think this is about refusing to see legalization as anything but ...'A LOSS TO THE LIBERALS'.

I suspect you may be a PRIMO example of this theory.

"Could the three accused be from the Sikh community?"

Seems to be a lot of that going around.

Two suspects identified in beating of man with autism at Square One bus terminal

Ronjot Singh Dhami, 25, and Parmvir Singh Chahil, 21, are wanted by Peel police on a Canada-wide warrant for aggravated assault.

Mr. Dhami has a history that is interesting to say the least.

B.C. suspect in autistic man’s beating once hid 23 fentanyl bags in an uncomfortable place

Dhami was convicted for assault with a weapon in 2011. He also has traffic violations dating to between 2012 and 2014.

They included driving without reasonable consideration, failing to produce a driver’s licence or insurance, violating a restriction on a driver’s licence, having unauthorized tinted windows and failing to obviously display a relevant new driver sign.

Then, in 2016, he was the subject of a voir dire that was associated with a three-count indictment for possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, heroin and cocaine.

Whatever you do, CO, don't read this.
"You stop wasting my time and then YOU prove to the rest of US that no one has ever died from drinking bad illegal hooch."

Demanding a negative be proved is a logical fallacy. The burden of proof would be on you for making an assertion.
That said, I never stated that no one every died from bad booze. People have died from good booze. I can prove ethanol poisoning.
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/alcohol-poisoning/symptoms-causes/syc-20354386

The current generation likes to soak tampons in vodka and stick those tampons up their butts or vaginas.
Some could die from that practice.Ethanol OD.

Another weed apologist, another addict doing the rationalization dance, Jesus wept. I know a guy who spent a month in a locked psych ward because of weed, and everyone not living in a cave knows it stunts brain development in young people by now, so how about you shut your ignorant cakehole. Alternatively, go work for Justin.

"Demanding a negative be proved is a logical fallacy."

Yeah, I agree completely. But, it sure made my intended point well.

*
"can knob cries... I sure never asked to be dragged into
the hell-hole that is trying to communicate with you."

so you, just like the cathy newman - jordan peterson interview,
claim the right to not be offended by free and open discourse.

look, maybe you should just pull out your colouring book and
get a little "snowflake" respite while the adults get on with
the debate.

*

*
"soak tampons in vodka and stick those tampons
up their butts or vaginas"

boy... you sure know how to have a good time.

*

Ha, I tried to give you 'lawyerly' advice earlier, now you pay the price for not listening.

I submit to everyone who reads our interactions, they are now on record for all to see, who exactly was trying to inform and create comments on topic and who exactly was incapable of rising above one childish comment after another.

Michael, you seem rather emotional about this. Thank you for not threatening to kill me, too.

I assume you show yourself the same 'outrage' when you enjoy the drug called alcohol? Unless you are a teetotaler of course, or are you just another hypocrite drunk that wants his fix kept legal? Which is it? Ha, anyways, your Justin comment helps bolster my earlier mentioned theory, so thanks for that.

Yes, it stunts the brains of young people, thanks for raising such a vital point. All the more reason to keep it off the streets.

BTW, if Jesus is weeping, it is because he just read your irrationally hateful post.

ITT, drug warriors and their apocryphal tales.

If not for the lacing of the drugs, the only outrage here would be the incarceration of some fine young armed entrepreneurs by the Canadian state. Lacing drugs with worse drugs might actually be a real crime though. Still beats psyco Trump's idea of executing them.

This nonsense ends when prohibition ends.
