“What happens if Venezuela runs out of oil to export to the U.S.?”

Sounds crazy, but let’s see what has been happening thus far:

When president Chávez took power in 1998, Venezuela produced some 3,400,000 oil barrels per day. If the ongoing oil opening had been completed, oil production would have reached five million barrels per day in a few years. However, the Revolution was against the process and did everything it could to stop it. They succeeded.

Instead of five million barrels per day, OPEC reports that, according to “direct contact with the government“, Venezuelan oil production for December 2017 was just 1,621,000 bpd. The same report shows an output drop of 216,000 bpd in December, 118,000 bpd in November and 130,000 bpd in October.

The aforementioned figures show a catastrophic situation in our main industry. Throughout 2017, oil output in Venezuela dropped by 649,000 bpd, which represents almost 40% in a single year. To understand the magnitude of the drama, it’s enough to say that after nationalization Venezuela took approximately 20 years to increase oil production to the levels “rojos rojitos” destroyed in our year. Dear God!"

It is pure evil to say live as I say, not as I live.
Next person who comes to you, saying what you want to hear in exchange for a vote, tell them that you will vote/donate/whatever, when their house is no longer on the grid, and uses only "renewable" power. When they stop using fossil fuels to travel. When they grow their own flax, soak the straw in ditches, and make their own linen. Using only horses and manual labor of course. When their office only has heat and lights when the wind blows. When Parliament/Legislature/town office is the same way. When they pass a law saying that people can declare their support for fossil fuels, or stop using planes, trains, buses, cars, home heating fuel, electricity, ...

When they actually live the way they legislate/command/bribe that you live; then and only then do they deserve support. Otherwise, vote NDP so that the country can collapse and disappear as fast as possible. When Ralph Goodale is travelling back and forth between Ottawa and Regina in a horse drawn cart, and sleeping on the ground rather than using fossil powered hotels, only then will you know that he actually believes the crap falling out of his mouth. Only when they are wearing parkas while sitting in Parliament when the wind is not blowing, using candles that they made themselves from the beeswax from their own personal hives. Only when they give up the armed RCMP security do you listen to anything they say about guns. Only when they give up air travel, do you believe anything they say about carbon. Only when a shooter/bomb maker/knifer/driver is on the floor with them while Parliament is in session are they actually living your life.

So if the oil workers are becoming too weak to do heavy work, does this mean they'll be punished for sabotaging the revolution?

Let us see now.

To put a fine point on this, consider:

The conservatives (classic liberals) want to bring everybody up. To make, and this is important point, everybody that is interested better off than they were the day before.

The socialist/fascists want to bring everybody down, except themselves of course, because they care.

The conservatives work to make everybody that wants to be prosperous on the up side.
The socialists work to make everybody that does not want to be poor on the down side.

And that is how things work in the real world.

It appears then that the socialists not only in Venezuela are succeeding in their stated goal.

Those in Venezuela are just slightly ahead of our time and the socialist extremists that run the government of Alberta.

You probably can think of some other jurisdictions of Canada that follow the Venezuela lead.

Smh ... and the oil industry executives who have failed to perform under these conditions ... have been fired and replaced by the military. Let me know how that works out.

Canada is NOT the next Venezuela. Canada is run by a cabal of the descendants of the Chateau Clique and the Family Compact plus a few others who joined that exclusive club over the years. These people are not about to let ANY politician destroy their golden goose.

Trudeau is the current assistant manager for now, but if he endangers the House built by the cabal, he will be gone very quickly, then the next A-M can take over and while he'll be allowed to "tweak" the system a bit, the status quo WILL be maintained at all costs.
