I bought GE when the stock was already deeplydepressed, partly because they seemed poised to become a leader in 3-D printing which has massive implications for complex parts in the aerospace industries.

And because.... buy low, sell high.

Except my low buy-in price was only a precursor to an even lower future price. Oh well. In for a penny, in for a pound. If I hang on until I'm 80 or so, it may prove to be a decent investment.
