And Joe Who rolls over...

Well goo for Low Energy Jeb!

1917 - Allenby liberates Jerusalem
1967 - Israel captures the West Bank and Arab section of Jerusalem
2017 - United States recognizes Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel

Hmmm

Good for the Czech Republic. This makes me go a little way toward forgiving the Czech Legion for turning over the Siberian White Army leader Admiral Kolchak to the Bolsheviks.

Jeb Bush, wow, who knew he actually had some integrity?

Now if only Israel could incorporate the West Bank into the state of Israel. (That aught to open a can of worms)

Ham Ass is calling for a 'day of rage' over this. That is different than every other day for Ham Ass exactly how?

*Samaria and the Golan Heights. They won it, it's theirs.

;)

I'd have been happy too if Poland had been the second, not that I'm anti Czech. There seems to be a limited amount of sense available on this topic in the news today. I'm off now to the BBC, I sometimes read it for the sports coverage.

...

It's called 'Making the UN Great', since Israel was one of the first things created by the UN...

https://www.politico.com/story/2017/09/18/trump-united-nations-2017-make-united-nations-great-242842

Trump takes on a new cause: 'Make the United Nations great'
The issue of U.N. reform is one that plays well to his GOP base — and to globalists.

Our Crown Prince of Stupidity wll have to stay out of the House for the forseeable future in fear of being asked the question. "when is Canada going to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Isreal." Having to explain away that question will tie his tongue up in knots for months.

I salute you Mr. President. It is amazing to watch you winning. Not only did you correctly recognize the capital of Israel as being Jerusalem you also got the Saudi's to agree eh wot Bush is an American and not a Saudi? How was I to know?

Please clap.

"After more than two decades of waivers, we are no closer to a lasting peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. It would be folly to assume that repeating the exact same formula would now produce a different or better result," Trump said.

Well EXACTLY RIGHT. It was my thought as well. This entire "peace" process has been stuck on zero since 1967. And, as 'enkidu' commented above, nothing has really changed ... they were upset and raging before and they will be the same after. That's what they do. It's all they do. Ditto for the Iranian ayatollahs.

Still .... watch what Turkey does. True colors getting brighter and brighter for the Turks.

Hoorah!

Who is next I wonder?

Sid, you do not plead with CLAP, you go see a doctor!!

"Ham Ass is calling for a 'day of rage' over this. That is different than every other day for Ham Ass exactly how?"

Well of course that's the problem for many of the Arab states in the Middle East: if they do go ballistic over this, how will we be able to tell?

And .... let's stop calling it the 'West Bank' and call it by its proper name:

JUDEA AND SAMARIA.

Caroline Glick aways calls it so.

Would love to see the Poles and the Slovaks follow the Czechs in recognizing Jerusalem. Hungary - may take a bit longer.

Pretty lame coming from a bush who’s dad and brother had the opportunity to do what trump is doing now.

I’m watching to see what the saudis do. If they are relatively reserved on it then that is a huge win for trump.

Have we heard from Andrew sheer yet?

God divorced both Judah and Israel way back in the Old Testament, He doesn't have anything to do with it other than it's in the negative part of His Plan. Lot's of peace, peace, peace being called for...

1Th 5:3  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Rev_11:8  And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city (Jerusalem), which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

2Jn 1:9  Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2Jn 1:10  If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2Jn 1:11  For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

On the other hand the Apostle Paul says that although the Israelites have stumbled they may still recover.

"Did they (the Jews) stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!

. . . if the root is holy, so are the branches. If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written:

“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
And this is my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”

As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
“Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”
“Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay them?”
For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen."
(Romans 11)

OK, I can support that. I believe those are the original names.

Sorry for the repetitions. In my defense, I waited a long time before posting again each time and then all three appeared at once.

On the other hand the Apostle Paul says that although the Israelites have stumbled they will recover.

No, it says if they believe...

Rom 11:23  And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.

Joh 10:1  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

You said God "doesn't have anything to do with" Israel. According to Romans 11 that isn't quite true:

"Has God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away his people which he foreknew."

"For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?"

"For I would not, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel shall be saved . . ." (Romans 11)

How this will happen is a mystery but it seems God isn't finished with Israel.

You said God "doesn't have anything to do with" Israel. According to Romans 11 that isn't quite true:

Who are you calling Israel?

Rom 9:4  Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

Rom 9:8  That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

The natural branches are called Christian.

Gal 3:29  And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Israel: Paul called himself "an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin."
Then he said, ". . .blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel shall be saved."

If "Israel" and "the natural branches" meant "Christians" then blindness in part has happened to the Christians, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, and so all the Christians shall be saved. That makes no sense. How are the Christians blind to Christ?

No. Blindness has happened to the Jews until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. What happens then is, as Paul says a mystery, but it sounds good for the Israelites.

How are the Christians blind to Christ?

Have you heard of the apostasy?

Rev 9:15  And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
Rev 9:16  And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
Rev 9:17  And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
Rev 9:18  By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

A third of the world is Christian, they are the only people who can die spiritually. Worshipping the instead of Christ (satan), who comes first at the 6th trump, will do that. Christ doesn't come until the 7th trump.

Expect the “Russia Collusion ” to hit peak scream when this gets found

“Russia recognizes west Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a surprise announcement on Thursday, obtained exclusively by The Jerusalem Post. ”

"Have we herd from Andrew Scheer yet?"

Not yet. But the old guy in the beanie and the long white dress has passed his infallible judgement.

https://www.ft.com/content/8cdeb02a-da73-11e7-a039-c64b1c09b482

if you wish to quote Revelation then throw in the part where a third of man will die and they won't all die in Israel.

looks like you caught up or i did.

islam requires the destruction of all Jews. There will never be peace anywhere on the planet as long as islam is around. Over 2000 years ago Jerusalem was held by the Romans because they had conquered the Jews. Islam did not exist then.

I find a 'stop' and 'refresh' (tiny round arrow symbol tucked into the rt side of the url box) does the trick.

p.s., what old white guy said. Ive been lOOking @ the mid east since the days of Meir and Nasser.

captcha MAIN ROAD. hmmm. main road to where?

So, what did the Muslims do for the Jews?
David J Wasserstein
The Jewish Chronicle

Islam saved Jewry. This is an unpopular, discomforting claim in the modern world. But it is a historical truth. The argument for it is double. First, in 570 CE, when the Prophet Mohammad was born, the Jews and Judaism were on the way to oblivion. And second, the coming of Islam saved them, providing a new context in which they not only survived, but flourished, laying foundations for subsequent Jewish cultural prosperity - also in Christendom - through the medieval period into the modern world.

Thanks. I'll try it.
