  3. I understand that he was picked up by the magical plane that miraculously disappeared after it ploughed into the pentagon on 9/11. Of course, first he scooped up 1000 empty shell casings from the hotel room floor. Honestly, sometimes I am ashamed to call myself a conservative. I see the vacuous illogical leftists and shake my head. I also shake my head at conservatives who are buying into the MSM narrative whenever a mass homicide happens. Christ people, use your heads.

An interesting article, but why did he waste so much time on the issue of his gun expertise in the shooter’s choice of weapon based on accuracy when obviously firing at random into a wall of humanity even at that range where anyone couldn’t miss? The bump stock recoil would have lifted the muzzle allowing for arcing trajectory. It was the first time I had heard about the hour it took to actually break into the Hotel room. One wonders if the public will ever hear the truth based on the circus to date.

  7. I gather his lengthy firearms rant is an ‘in-your-face’ to the anti-assault rifle crowd; and that the shooter wasn’t very good and didn’t think a lot of stuff through. He had a poor selection of guns for what he clearly planned to do, and he hadn’t practised with them, and he clearly thought a bump stock ( – prohibited in Canada, BTW – ) would give him a “machine gun”; and ultimately, as he could afford a ‘plane and knew how to fly, the 50 lb of Tannerite he had in his car could’ve made the scene a whole lot worse. WHAT was he THINKING??? – he’s dead, so we may never know.
    The matter is worth contemplating, and Denninger is contemplating it because a whole lot of it doesn’t make sense; and a whole lot of fairly basic questions are going unanswered, several due to official obstruction and refusal to talk about it. It’s this sorta’ thing that fosters conspiracy theories. Maybe they’re trying to discourage copycats, but in the case of that missing Security Guard, the likely answer’s so obvious that officials may have “interested motives” in concealing it. Do they? – they won’t say, so we speculate.
    I recall one RCAF aircraft crash – by the end of that day, the CBC was howling “COVER-UP – the military won’t tell us what happened!!!” OF COURSE they won’t – anybody else remember the USN speculating about a “homosexual love triangle” blowing-up the “B” turret on the USS Iowa? The military will tell you fully and completely what happened – but not until they know themselves, and that takes a lengthy investigation, and by then the story is ‘yesterday’s news’ and the MSM couldn’t be bothered answering the phone.
    And in the case of this shooting, the officials are doing a poor PR job – as usual – and as usual, that’ll redound on them.

  9. I agree with (most) every … informative, logical (according to the FACTS in hand), and reasoned comments written in this article. However there is another crucial element to the total lack of investigative information and evidence being offered to the public after … the WORST massacre in the history of the USA. That is the verrrrrry close relationship between the “gaming industry” (read: Nevada Govt. Mafia) and the LV Police. I believe the “gaming industry” has circled the wagons and gagged the LV (so called) Police Dept. There are literally $ hundreds of Billions of dollars hanging on every word, timeline, video, illegal worker, etc. of this story. It is becoming quite obvious to me that the Mandalay Bay casino (let’s not call it a “hotel”) facilitated and enabled this massacre by their “accommodations” given to big spending gamblers. Yes, it is really “all about the money”. But then, where in THE Hell is the FBI (a formerly repudible org.)? Short Answer- the local Nevada FBI office is ALSO in the pocket of “the gaming industry”.
    How many weeks is it after this MASSCRE? And I have yet to see a SINGLE video, still image, or ANY surveillance evidence of this shooter. That. does. not. make. sense. And now, the casinos are trying to say there aren’t really “that many” surveillance cameras in the hotel … yeah … right (*cough* bullshit!!). Radically changing timelines. Missing witnesses (obviously gagged by someone). A complete dearth of evidence made public. I only WISH that I could believe this is all because Law Enforcement doesn’t want to jeopardize their case, or reveal other perpetrators they are pursuing … but THIS case has a very different vibe to it. This is a total cover-up. If I were related to any victims … I would be suing under the FOIA to obtain evidence in this case. I would be challenging the authorities on their complete lack of evidence in this case. And if I were in the media … I would be dedicating … uh *sigh* … nevermind. The media is “compromised” too.
    One doesn’t need to believe in “magic bullets”, or “Bush blowing up the twin towers”, or “alien abductions” to sense something is really, really, WRONG about this whole event and “investigation”. Really WRONG.

Yep – ammunition fire; somebody got a ‘bright idea’ and decided to try something that was specifically prohibited in the WW2 manuals, and the propellant charge in the centre gun self-ignited while the breech was still open. You know how it is – six bags of propellant that can hurl a one-ton shell sixteen miles, is gonna’ make quite a fire if it lights-off on its own. And the USN did itself no favours speculating out-loud what caused the blaze, before the facts were in.

  15. Maybe he was just freaked out by the attention and wanted time to himself. Maybe he exaggerated something in his story and feared that a media anal-exam might expose that. Maybe he has three wives in three different towns and didn’t want his face on TV. Maybe he just didn’t want to become part of the circus.

    I’m pretty sure I know what you’re saying, but I won’t put words in your mouth so c’mon, spell it out; what point are you trying to make? And if it’s what I think it is, please bear in mind:
    1) he knew how to fly and could afford an airplane – and if he’d crashed a light airplane with full fuel tanks into the crowd at the concert, it would’ve been a whole lot worse even without setting-off the 50 lb of tannerite he had in his possession, and
    2) a guy DID do worse than him in Nice, France, with a truck.
