Many years ago, I attended a function held by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. A number of companies and government agencies had put on displays and I sat in on a presentation by Silicon Graphics.

The company was demonstrating its latest product and used a computer animation of an F-14 flight around San Francisco to show its capabilities.

Part of that animation had the plane flying below the Golden Gate Bridge. When we saw that, the chap sitting next to me and I both had the same thought when we saw that: instant court martial.
