Are Jared Kushner and the aides in the Whitehouse complete idiots or are they just devoid of brains?
Kushner used it to communicate with top White House officials in early 2017. Kushner’s attorney said the messages totaled fewer than 100 from January through August.
A day later, POLITICO reported that at least five Trump aides used personal email for public business, including Ivanka Trump and Gary Cohn, and that then-Chief of Staff Reince Priebus tried unsuccessfully to stop White House aides’ rampant use of cellphones for official business.
After winning an election in no small part because their opponent held an indifference to operational security, Kushner and the WH aides do the same damn thing.
I mean, you gotta be a grade ‘A’ idiot to do that, tadpole level smarts.

Is Jared Kushner and the aides in the Whitehouse complete idiots
Is they being educated?
The most powerful multinational corporations in the world don’t, either.
I’ve said it here before, nobody, but nobody takes IT security seriously. And unless and until flouting security policy becomes an immediate termination offense on a par with punching your boss, that isn’t going to change.
If you’re not capable of seeing the irony I can’t help you.
There’s always that jackass that takes umbrage at someone else pointing out a grammatical error. This is proof positive that the jackass has an inferiority complex, usually well deserved. Better still, the same the same jackass thinks a vaguely threatening nim hides his inferiority complex from others. To flash into anger at being corrected is human and also childish.
True. But how many private servers, dissolved in bleach bit were used? Sorry, but this is no different than the leftist-approved, leftist-endorsed, private email use of Colin Powell. But, once again, the Left has managed to redefine HER activities to that of a simple “private” email account.

It is just more trolling. At an expert level it seems to me.
If Hillary cannot be jailed for it, then how can they be?
If they get in trouble for it, then how can Hillary stay free?
Looks pretty simple; they have presented the USA with a choice.
Will you apply something different to Kushner, and be hypocrits?
Will you apply the same standard to Kushner as you did Hillary?
Do you want people fired who pick the hypocrisy path?
Do you want people fired who DON’T pick the hypocrisy path?
How many of you here have entered, say, Costco and purchased far more than you intended?
How many of you here have said over and over again to yourself, “I won’t ever purchase that amount again.” and yet you do?
How many of you here realize that the layout of, say, Costco is designed to appeal to your greed?
This is Washington, DC.
The really bad part is that it’s all carried out with other people’s money.
I thought the problem with Hillary’s emails was that they were stored on a private server instead of a government one (no record kept) and that they contained classified information. From what I understand it is not illegal for government officials to use private emails to conduct government business so long as the copies of the emails are retained and nothing classified is sent or received. In this instance Jarred, not my favorite character in the White House, did nothing wrong.
The problem is the perception, not the reality.
What Jared Kushner did is being perceived as being like what Hillary Clinton did.
Because of what Hillary did, any mention now of personal e-mail use in conjunction with government taints the people involved, just as Lance alluded to here.
I must agree with the view IT isn’t taken seriously by society. In fact, security itself isn’t well done in the private sector, at least from my small bus perch.
Military people usually understand how intelligence gathering works, getting little bits of information to put together a puzzle you don’t have a picture for.
I think it really comes down to a professional level understanding of this reality.
But, this is inexcusable behaviour, briefings or not. Please don’t use the Hillary excuses.
Nip this in the bud Mr Trump. Kick whatever butt you need to but put a stop to this practice and don’t weeny out at “it was unclassified” goofiness.
“…tadpole level smarts…”
Pretty much. Soon to be matched by tadpole wigglin’.
My understanding:
He had an account that predated the election.
After the election people kept sending stuff because that account was in their email program or they were replying.
Kushner forwarded those emails to his official account so they showed up.
100 over 180 days.
Trivial.
““Fewer than 100 emails from January through August were either sent to or returned by Mr. Kushner to colleagues in the White House from his personal email account. These usually forwarded news articles or political commentary and most often occurred when someone initiated the exchange by sending an email to his personal rather than his White House address.””

The MSM says nothing when Hillary uses a private server for 30,000 emails but when Kushner uses a private phone for less than 100 calls they want his head.
Still, the White House is a special kind of stupid.
If you think these guys and gals are especially stupid you need to get out more. These folks are pretty much average dumb for today.
I have only a few visible letters on my keyboard. They wore off working on dissertations, and articles. I am also missing some keys. I only have stubs on which to press. Despite all the time and effort, despite trying to maintain proper syntax, and conform to grammar rules of the day, I still fail at times because the human mind while capable of many things, also holds multiple thoughts at the same time, and writing errors occur. Picking out grammatical errors for your enjoyment is quite possibly one of the least intelligent forms of entertainment one could find. Find yourself a new hobby, and perhaps you’ll accrue a few friends instead of driving them away.
Weapons grade dumb, or they just didn’t mean all the stuff they said about HRC. The only acceptable answer would be people were sending him stuff, but he failed to disclose the email account on his forms. Which again could be an innocent error but with all of his other failures to disclose you have a problematic pattern. HRC would have been crucified for it.
Get rid of him, get rid of Ivanka. The value they provide versus the costs to the admin are out of whack. If Trump cant trust anyone other than a family member whose problem is that?
Hillary was Secretary of State, not a White House aid, and non government does not mean non secure, government and security only go together by occasional coincidence. Hillary basically had no security nor did the DNC.
Idiot president surrounds himself with nepotistically-selected idiots. News at 6.
CC, it makes the writer look at least careless and at worst stupid. Like walking around with your fly undone.
I agree with this. It takes a while to do a transition, especially as you are moving from working for a private organization to the public sector. In Hillary’s case, she was Sec. of State (very important position) and she seemed to be using the private server to hide things. Kushner’s transgression is triial by comparison.
Nothing new from you comme d’habitude.
You still can’t compare sending a few official emails on a personal account to setting up a dedicated server outside of the secure network, sending out classified material through that server, then “decommissioning” said server when subpoenaed by congress, while destroying all your devices with a hammer, along with deleting over 30 THOUSAND emails that were subpoenaed in the first place.
That kind of activity would send anyone else not named “Clinton” to jail.
As an experiment, change your email address, let people know the new one, and see how many emails still come to the old address, and for how long.
Then have a politico hack write about it as if you did something Clintonesque.
If you want to talk lack of security, try Trump.
It was recommended to him that he switch from his regular cell phone to a government provided encrypted cell phone — he resisted because he was used to using his phone, thus he never switched.
Ramifications — Trump is using an unsecured cell phone that can be cracked by every Intel agency on the planet and about 10% of teenagers.
Not a good example for POTUS.
But hey this is a guy who gets all his news from some fringe internet sites and a few TV channels and shuns intel from one of the most capable intelligence operations in the world. Something is not right with this picture.
Well for those with official positions, they certainly are stupid. But does Kushner actually have an official position? I don’t think he was given full security clearance IIRC.
“I mean, you gotta be a grade ‘A’ idiot to do that, tadpole level smarts.” Or, you just have to be a typical “progressive,” which Javanka and most others now left in the White House, including Trump, most certainly are.
Trump seems to be socially liberal but otherwise has his head screwed on better than most actual politicians, which I admit is a very low bar.
But when Bannon was banned and sent into the wilderness, I think that signalled the end of the anti-globalist experiment and a gradual shift to some centrist position that Trump probably won’t live to test out in 2020. The globalists prefer those of longer service to their cause. They would know better than to wheel out Hillary again, the search is already on for the next torch carrier and we can only hope that Trump lurches back to the alt right and gets a better handle on why people voted for him.
It’s not your hair, dude.
Jared & Ivanka are NY wingers, arrogant, egoists and not too bright.
