  1. Don’t hear that reggae beat in popular movement anymore. Maybe it’s considered cultural appropriation.

  2. And UB40 wasn’t just a random set of letters and numbers.
The band took its name from a UK Department of Employment form: “Unemployment Benefit Form 40”.
    Good band. Always liked them.

  3. But that’s the whole point. Divide and conquer. You don’t think there are agent provocateurs about?

  4. Universities are the last places to go if you truly care about free speech. They are all about bullying those who do not march in lock-step with the perverted ‘progressive’ agenda. Might want to try a library, where some do take a stand against censorship. I think it was about a month ago that leftists protested a library (I think in Toronto) where people wanted to hold a memorial service for a lawyer who stood up for free speech in a number of politically incorrect contexts. To its credit, the library stood its ground.

  5. About 17 thousand years years ago the last great ice sheet of our country’s continental glaciation began its slow retreat from what is now the Province of Saskatchewan . The sheet was part of the Wisconsinan Ice Age ( of the Pleistocene epoch of the Quarternary period of the Cenozoic era , as the geologic time time chart describes things ). The Wisconsinan was the last of 4 successive ice ages , which ,with its several recessions and advances along the glacial front , lasted some one hundred thousand years . We now have some one or two hundred years of temperature data ( unverifiable and adjusted ) which the media warns us is proof positive of man made climate change . This is backed up by the often repeated statement ” 97% of climate scientists agree ” . Armageddon is nigh .
I contend even if their data was correct ( if you can find it ) it is tatamount to taking a close up picture of a pimple on an elephants arse and telling everyone this is an elephant . I am certian if we had only had the Paris Agreement and several new taxes , well , we would still have our two mile thick ice . There is no limit on stupid . There is no limit to what stupid will do when there is money to be made and power and status to be had .
The information comes from” Where the river runs.” It is based on the work of F. H. Edmonds of the University of Saskatchewan .

  6. I’m sick of Trump, Ezra, liberals, conservatives, muzzies, christians, nazis, commies, right wing, left wing, the rebel, the cbc, politicians, preachers, jebus, lucifer, gay rights, native rights, BLM, white privilege, what’d I miss?
I can’t take this crap any more.
I’m going fishing. Drink beer. Listen to baseball.

  7. Just a thought.
If the media has taken to associating nationalism with Nazism, are they suggesting that all those Quebec nationalists over at Radio Canada are racists?

  8. Oh look. The Alberta government is not only attempting to shut down Conservative voices, they also are attempting to shut down a small business that pays people, pays taxes. Their “cover” for doing this is the claim that they are standing against racism, but they would be hard pressed to actually find an example of racism on Ezra’s site. It is nasty political exploitation and hopefully fair minded Albertans will hit them back hard in the next Alberta election for such blatant cynical politics. Anyone who cares about free speech needs to support Ezra:

PS: Many people in Canada do not actually know about the Rebel as MSM likes to pretend they do not exist. But they know now because the CBC is more than pleased to cover Rebel’s recent difficulties as well as the anti-Conservative antics of the Alberta government. Shame on the CBC. No wonder their TV audience is something like 6% (maybe 7%). What a bunch of sleezebags at the CBC. I cringe when I think I am having to pay their salaries with my taxes.

  9. Brian Mason is a hardened commie, of course he’s in favour of repression of free speech. No surprise there. The only people actually reporting the incompetence of the Alberta government is The Rebel.

  10. This does not bother me so much. The reason is, Sheerer is our only hope to beat the Liberals. You just know that if he did not state something like this against the Rebel, they would use it against him. I guess you could call it political blackmail. Sheerer did add in the possibility of Rebel changing their approach, so the door is not entirely shut. It’s a fine balance. I am wondering if John Robson and Barbara Kay also were not pressured by the National Post to abandon Rebel (e.g. Them or us).
Rebel has fallen victim to the same distortion of the truth (by MSM and leftists) that plagues Trump. They are not racist. Rebel covers important stories — some about immigrant problems — but does not attack immigrants because they are black or Muslim. MSM, the Alberta government, CBC, etc. do not care. They see a window where they can latch onto negative feelings about Trump and use it to attack Rebel Media.

  11. That’s the problem. You are either for free speech or not. I’ve not seen blatant racism on the Rebel but for the way the media are portraying it.
Until I see otherwise, this is a win for progressives and their shaming tactics and a loss for Canadians and the CPC.

  12. Not me. I’m sticking around to rant. Music, and particularly songs like this one, calm a disgusted mind.

  13. According to one comment on the Rebel’s web page, Gavin McInnes is quitting at the end of the month. Who’s going to be left?

  14. “Until I see otherwise, this is a win for progressives and their shaming tactics and a loss for Canadians and the CPC.”
Same here. This was a fantastic hit job by the left. Ezra is going to have to be more careful. Paris Sheer has not seen a dime from me since he forced the CPC to vote for the Paris fraud. If Faith went to Charlottesville against orders then she needs to be fired, although I will miss her reports.
This country is resembling the former Soviet Union every day.
