Ah, the memories that song brings back for me. I listened to it a lot while I did my assignments or wrote lab reports during the latter part of my sophomore undergrad year.
A few months later, it was a popular selection at one pizza place some of my residence mates and I used to go Friday and Saturday nights.
It won’t be removed. It’ll simply be modified so that it’s wearing a hijab, just like it’s shown in that painting that’s hanging in some California Dumbocrat politician’s office.

Sorry … but Philadelphia Freedom was written about Billie Jean King coming out as a full-on dyke. Butt Pirates, Elton John and Bernie Taupin wrote it about the pro-tennis team she played for. It will be forever regarded as a Gay anthem. I just want to hurl every time I hear it. I apologize (not really) for my homorevulsion (not homophobia … I don’t fear butt buddies, or mean-faced-clipped-hair dykes … although they usually outweigh me by some large measure). I don’t believe in “celebrating” depravity.
