  5. There are 60,000 Haitians temporarily in the US. They have a reprieve from Trump until January, at which point they are expected to retur to Haiti. How many do you think will end up in Canada? These people are not refugees. They are safe now and will be safe when (if) they return to Haiti.

How Blair, Merkel, Brown, May and all the political class had no idea that these “migrants” would actually stay in Germany or the UK. They thought they would return home! These stupid, stupid idiots like Trudeau think muslims, who produce nothing in their own countries, somehow will change into productive citizens, full integrated into our society.
    I remember flying into the Dominican Republic years ago when Cousteau was alive and he pointed out that the Haitians cut down all their forests and the soil ran into the sea. We could see as we flew over Haiti the miles of brown water drifting out to sea. Nothing has changed with these people, which is why the Dominicans patrol their border to make sure no Haitian crosses into their country.

    The Canadian government had $500 Million Canadian earmarked to pay these RCMP to create a Haitian Police force.
    They failed. The reason why they failed was because they could not find enough Haitians who were not corrupt and who would not grossly abuse their police powers.

I do not blame the immigrant stories who are often just seeking a better life,but communities need to be able to absorb them and jobs must be available for them. When they are not, young men torn to gangs. Sometimes they are ripe targets for extremist groups like ISIS. We now routinely hid the ethnic identity of troublemakers. Many are immigrants. Failing to acknowledge the problem does not make the problem go away.

    I do have proof, but did not provide details. The proof is easy to find if you care to look. But you are not interested in evidence that disproves your claim. Whether or not immigrants do well depends on a number of factors, including their home culture and level of education. Somali’s (as a generalization) are not doing well and many young men are enticed into gang culture. I don’t know about Dearborn, but in Ottawa, murders are way up and the crime rate is directly related to new immigrants involved in gangs.

She gave me a strange look and asked “Is he the judge?”
    She was even more baffled when I explained that he was B. C.’s premier.

    Over the last quarter century millions of legal immigrants have entered Canada. Over the same timeframe the rate of crime has fallen.
    Of all the provinces Ontario has the largest proportion of immigrants. The General Crime Index (GCI) of Ontario is lower than the national average.
    More immigrants = lower crime rate.

    As Rizwan states, more immigration = less crime. Further, as the study I linked to yesterday found, more immigration = less welfarism and more economic freedom. It also creates vast amounts of wealth.

    Absolutely I do, you don’t understand citizenship and the legal processes to obtain it. Taxpayers have every right to voice for legal immigration and against illegal immigration.
    Legal immigrants should be invited in on a “point system”, NO welfare and without voting rights until they’ve exercised a probation period as taxpayers without criminal convictions. Your welcome to pay out of pocket with all the charitable donations you want, but I suspect by your comments it’s other peoples money and property that your interested in.

No one has a problem with LEGAL immigrants, but illegal immigrants (such as those crossing the Quebec border every day) and refugees from unstable countries with radically different cultures result in some level of social upheaval and lawlessness as they find a home in gang activity.
    Your stats regarding crime also will be affected by factors other than immigration — so NO, more immigrants DO NOT = lower crime rate. SOME immigrant communities are associated with higher crime rates.

  46. When over 50% of the people I work with are Muslim and after 25 years of living here in Calgary, their English is just barely able to be understood, and there are some whom I am not able to communicate with unless there is a translator of what I am saying or what he is saying.
