As an Engineer, I am upset that Nye holds that degree. I was taught that Engineering involves the maximally efficient utilization of available resources. As Richard Feynman stated,”For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled.”
Currently, it is not Nature that is being fooled, but the populace. We are being inundated with green scheme after green scheme that causes much more pain than gain. I also think Nye looks even more a dork in that bowtie.

whenever I hear people like Nye, I know they are incapable of thinking critically. If they could, they would not support the climate change theology.

Back in the day, the comment among geologists was that a new theory wasn’t so much adopted but accepted as attrition removed the doubters. Plate tectonic theory was quoted as a prime example.

How old is Bill Nye?

Nye, along with his Canadian counterpart Dr. Fruitfly, are no longer in the field of science (Nye likely missed that stage altogether) but entertainment, and more accurately propaganda masquerading as entertainment. Unlike Suzuki, a hideous, toxic creation, and legacy of the CBC, he merely wants to see skeptics die of natural causes while Suzuki would like to see us imprisoned.

Bill Nye is 61. Interestingly, he is implicitly saying that yes, Mother Earth can wait for a generation, say 20 years, and nothing terminal will happen to her as she is waiting for us to die out, whatever volume of carbon dioxide we are releasing into the atmosphere. This is contrary to the doomsday deadlines many watermelons have been issuing.
Either logic is totally foreign to him, or else he just let the cat out of the bag, that he really, really doesn’t believe in the (his degree) he is spewing. It really is about globalist control of energy.

So it seems he’s saying that when the older generation dies off, physics and chemical reactions will no longer obey the established laws of science? The universe itself will undergo a massive transition to something that is, today, even beyond the realm of science fiction?

Yeah. I remember when it was so hot when I as a kid that the tar on the asphalt bubbled and stuck to your feet.
Kids these days have no experience of that kind of heat.
I remember when I was a kid that in winter the snow drifts were so high that you could build snow forts and sculptures.
We older people KNOW that what they are telling us about “unprecedented” weather phenomena are lies.
The coldest summers I have experienced in my life, literally years that had no summers it was as though spring and fall merged and summer was absent, were years that Gang Green said were the “Hottest Year on Record”.
Lies. And Gang Green’s Gurus, like Michael Mann, refuse to provide their base data or the work that supports their climate contentions.

You’re kidding ! I would have guessed his age at about 71. That’s what happens to people when they doesn’t eat meat.

That’s because the natural “state” of a scientist is doubt … or skepticism. That is until our Universities started bestowing “environmental science” degrees as if they had ANYTHING whatsoever to do with science. These “scientists” have learned only one thing … the cattle call to the feeding trough of government grant $$$$$. So they all go mooo moooo. Or rather oink oink. In unison

Well, yeah. Some years after Kuhn’s The Structure of Scientific Revolutions was published, scientists started pointing out that “paradigm shifts” didn’t really happen, the old scientists just retired, quit or died off and were replaced by a younger crowd that subscribed to the new paradigm.
