IMHO it also verifies Donald Trump’s assertion that the business plans for so many of these media companies are failing. The ‘National Enquirer’ style pursuit of ‘news’ suggests that is the ‘hook’ required to gain attention. Ultimately, hopefully, people will realize they are being played for fools.
