An entire demographic that for decades has been told they have been guilty of some transgress while those in a position of power or privilege not only got away with far worse, but where being told they had to vote for the scondrel they picked in spite of her transgressions because it was her turn....
When faced with such a scenario the perpetually abused understand the establishment advocates against those things that may harm them as something harmful to them.
So they decided, time for the establishment to get some payback.

Still do not know what to think of Trump. As a real estate developer I know he lived off very leveraged investments with lots of debt. Nothing wrong with that as long as it was his risk. As a fiscal conservative it makes me worried he will eventually do the same with USA finances. As stretched as those finances are already it is concerning.
The MSM is as corrupt as anything in the American fabric. Whether by design or not the fact that Trump has them bleating blue murder from the beginning of his presidency could stand him in good stead later on. Most of the public will simply tune it all out.
Trump must have people constantly working on ways to moon the media. Kinda like holding up a red cape in front of a stupid bull to make it charge deeper into a moral muck hole...to the delight of the audience.

US finances aren't just stretched they are broken. Between the 20 plus trillion debt, and somewhere between 100 and 200 trillion in unfunded liabilities, and trillions in those marvelous things call derivatives, there isn't enough wealth on the planet to cover it. It will be interesting to watch this all unfold if I live long enough. Being able to say I told you so will not produce much satisfaction.
