Listening to people talk on Talk Radio there are thousands throughout Ontario with similar stories and we must listen to them but more importantly write and visit our MPPs and MPs office and really complain. I bought gas on December 30 and paid $1.059 a litre, at that station it is now 1.129 as Wynnebag’s carbon tax takes affect. As Katula noted her propane went up $45 a month. An American subsidiary here in Ontario showed their energy bill, $13k for electrical energy with a $100,000 Global Adjustment charge for one month. Wonder when they will move back to the US?
Trudeau indicated that his tax hasn’t kicked in yet. So that’s a for sure on that irrespective of what the provinces do? Ontario has Cap’n’trade already in place, so what tax is still to come?

Asking a statist prime minister to “help” or “do something” about a matter that isn’t even (yet) under federal jurisdiction will not have the desired effect. It’ll just make him more confident that people want even more aspects of their lives put under the control of a federal bureaucracy.

There are a great many Kathy’s out there that are going through the stages of grief.
She is expressing denial. She is part of the demographic that idolized his father when they where in their teens. They attribute then to now and yearn for the days when as teen girls they hadn’t a financial care in the world…and now they want someone to take care of them.
