Will Brian Topp be taking the bus to Ontario? Key West? Ontarions should pay for his one way ticket to Florida. Enough socialist elites in Ontario to fill a billion dollar hog operation!

That's not an exodus. That's just slime slithering back to Moronontario. Wait until the real one starts in 2017,beginning with businesses, hopefully followed by the fascists who voted for this crap called a government (more like a politburo). Call it rude, crude,or whatever, however the wrong Nutley died in the plane crash.

These stories are never ever a simple statement of the plain facts.

Yeah, because coming back to Ontario is SOOO much better.....

After the Alberta election Rebel media had a piece about the lack of home-grown talent Notley (spell ck wants motley) picked to re-arrange the deck chairs on the sinking ship.
Carpet beggars always head home after their destruction has been achieved.

Black markets are a common fixture of over regulated, over taxed markets. I expect there are going to be an increasing number of cash transactions for renovations, plumbing, taxi service...

Still working on my script featuring emaciated starving everyone, where all vehicles heat light and power are banned, but fat government union people driving Bugatti Veyrons for official business. Or is there a vehicle that uses more fuel every second? Maybe it should be a personal super sonic jet for every government master, and any civilian who even farts or turns on a light is flogged?

Back to Ontario the land of useless political tits, just what we need...... I can see the bottom.

"He wants to spend time contemplating politics — and he’ll do that not just in Toronto but on a beach in Key West, Florida."

No needless waste of earth-destroying carbon there.

Evil, hypocritical assholes supported by mindless, ignorant Alberta leftards.

There is no bottom dude. The creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy... Unless you are talking about room 101 in the basement at Minitru for all of us deplorables?

Notley 2019. "Do as I say".

Oh Mugs, morontario can't hold a candle to Key West. They make Ontario look like neo-cons:-)))

That is the main reason the secret ballot is such a terrible idea. People get to vote for misery, then everyone gets to share it equally. Secret ballot is a tool that shelters people from the consequences of their own bad choices; hence Canada is filled with fools. Who let it happen anyway? Who set it up to allow "leaders" to do anything they want, and regardless of outcome their paycheck never stops, their pension never stops, they can't be sued... The useful idiots of Lac Megantic went after the railroad, instead of their own government that stops all pipelines; which are safer than rail transport. They didn't even see the huge money they could have went after if they followed the money from the pipeline protesters.

Naw, Topp is not fleeing, he is just going to contemplate over the Christmas season where else he can go to help destroy an economy with Marxism.

These are the village idiots running Alberta, look around your towns at the NDPee losers you all know, they are generally losers, malcontents misfits and miscreants, fine predicament for the province that has funded Canadas loser provinces for 40 years. Brian Jean and Kenney and Starke better get their act together soon.

Why don't you flee to Minnesota where even though you are cleared of accusations, you are convicted and punished by the court of Socialist poser. Minnesota has a two tiered system. Two levels of proof of guilt or innocence. If the accuser of by a "crime" is by snowflake or black, there is no defense. You are automatically guilty. Minnesota does not offer the Constitutional guarantees that the rest of The United States has.

Topp, and people like him, reminds me of the following exchange between newspaper baron Lord Northcliffe and George Bernard Shaw:

Northcliffe: The trouble with you, Shaw, is that look as if there was a famine in the land.

Shaw: The trouble with you, Northcliffe, is you look as if you caused it.

Topp, and all his fellow leftists/socialists/communists, are only happy that they've blighted the land, keeping the plunder for themselves.

"That is the main reason the secret ballot is such a terrible idea"

I talk politics with a large number of people from various backgrounds and I have yet to meet anyone who voted for the Trudeau Liberals. Not one. In fact, most place Trudeau somewhere between dog shit and pond scum on the "like" scale. I rather suspect that the same could be said of Notley. I also suspect that some of these people did, in fact, vote for Trudeau and are ashamed to admit it although they would probably do so again given the opportunity. It is not illegal to be stupid and it can't be fixed but it would be nice if the stupid were held accountable. As I've said before, reaping what others sow is becoming very old.

Maybe it's time for the west to Cloward-Piven. What do we have ro do, to go to zero have provinces in the country? What happens then? Can carbon taxes be gamed into permanent have not status for Saskatchewan and Alberta? Can carbon tax be forced to make Quebec a have province?

I wish every citizen in Alberta, who is not a paid in fool government employee, would write a letter to their premier stating: "If you do not immediately revoke and recant your approval of a crippling carbon tax I vow never to vote for either the Provincial or Feral NDP party as long as I live". It may not change anything now but it might make idiots think at least once before they say something stupid that will hurt the province in the future.

My first thought upon reading this was that Topp is moving to Trump's US of A to avoid our looming carbon tax and to make his bank account great again. He milked our system for all he could then flees to the land of opportunity to enjoy the fruits of our labour.

bartinsky;
Very accurate description. In Reform I ran across many prairie Dippers who were actually very fiscally conservative. You got it farmers. The Dippers I had the most trouble with were elitist academics and union Marxists. Yep, I am smarter than you so I should run things types. Their real world experience was mostly zero.

Well, they found a way to reduce some of that greenhouse gas.

Calgary-area greenhouse owners say NDP policy pressure killed their business

I had to laugh when Topp said firmly that he isn't going to B.C. to help the NDP here!

The Dipper Chief,Horgan is still in la-la land with his anti-industry stance, the same one that lost the last election for them here.
Topp doesn't want to be associated with a sure loser, and that is exactly what Horgan's plan for BC is,a certain loser, for everyone.

B.C. voters who aren't civil servants, are wising up to the fact that there are no green jobs and that our resources are all we have to sell.

There is not and never will be manufacturing on a scale to employ the masses, though the media will trumpet every 20-employee startup company as proof that a carbon free economy is viable.

And as soon as they grow big enough, they'll move offshore for obvious reasons.
Oil,gas, minerals, forests, fishing, that's B.C. industry, with a bit of tourism thrown in and our "look, but don't touch" attitude toward our great outdoors, for good measure.

The explanation is simple - rats always leave a sinking ship.

The wheels of the bus go round and round ... round and round ... round and round
The wheels of the bus go round and round ...

The entire climate-change, global-warming, FRAUD needs to STOP
So far not a single TAX-and-redistribute climate change proponent has chosen to take public transportation.

all lefties are cheap basturds, except with other's moneys. They want social programs either for self benefit, or to virtue signal, but always with others money

Edmonton - Toronto, return Business Class, is a minimum $1,400 return. If you want any flexibility in your travel plans, it's closer to $2,100. Every week for Topping to visit his family. But Notley wants us to take the bus to work.

Knight99 predicted this many times. The carpet baggers or as Ralph Klein called them -Creeps and Bums-, are fleeing.
I doubt that they had much invested other than a vote to get that which they never contributed to.

p.s. Bartinsky, you and your ilk can only contribute to keeping the NDP in government here.

Hey oz, seek help or get a job, same thing, mommas basement is a dull place compared to the work arena to formulate cognitive thought processes if possible in your case.

Let's not be too hard on him. Dementia is a bitch. An uncle was like that toward the end. He would drift in and out of coherent thought, would often forget where he was and misplace his friend's names. He would rant on about people he didn't know, and think it was someone else. We just have to be patient and understanding.

the ballot isn't really secret. All voters are registered and their ballot has a number that corresponds with the registration sheet.

"All voters are registered and their ballot has a number that corresponds with the registration sheet."

That number is torn off (and placed in another bag) before the ballot goes in the box. Unless you do a CSI type "match the perforations and paper" thingy - there is no way you can identify the voter.

that is incorrect I have seen how it can be done.
