With respect to the song, there was some controversy a few years ago about playing it on the radio in the U. K. One of the lyrics contains a word which certain people may find offensive. The result is that broadcasters decided to bleep it out each time it was played.

I don't know if that's still the case, though.

Some years later, I was going to fly to visit my father for the holidays. As I sat waiting in the departure lounge at the airport, that song just happened to be played in the background. Since I'd heard about the aforementioned censorship, I listened closely. No bleeping of any kind.

Maybe whoever made up the background music playlist for that day didn't know about the objectionable term or didn't think it was important. Frankly, the only way one would notice is one listened closely to the lyrics which, given that it was played at an airport, most people were unlikely to do.

An alternative would have been to have a version of the song suitable for broadcast, such as what I think was used for the Dire Straits song Money for Nothing over 30 years ago.
