@Knight99: I think you're correct on the gun ID. The press identified it as a .22 and I don't think that's correct. I have never seen a gun so devoid of manufacturer's ID marks/serial #s as that shown in the picture. Is it a European vs U.S. thing?

And of course, nobody in the mosque thought to alert the local authorities that this might be the guy they were looking for.

Agreed, by it's condition it looks like a Soviet era German produced .38 auto, but who can be sure without better photo's or personally handling it. The point is - Little Anus killed allot of people without a gun in a "gun free zone" using a stolen truck, and then was able to acquire a handgun in a "strict gun control country" and then wound a policeman with it in another "strict gun control country".

Certainly agree with that statement and in fact with all the statements in this thread. But I was struck by the lack of markings on the weapon and the possibility that they had been all removed .... and what that implies.

The Walther PKK is Jimmy Bonds weapon. Here is a closer view of one that looks identical except for serial numbers and manufacturer ID.

This particular "Anus the poor disenfranchised youth photo" looks as if it may have been a Duty Pistol (To me) at one time by the holster wear especially at the front end of the slide.

It may well be a .22 rimfire caliber. Most older PPKs were in .32acp, but some .22
rimfire models were made.

Relatively few were made in .380 acp in the earlier production years, which this appears to be.

The .22 rimfire would be quieter when assassinating the Polish truck driver, who put up quite a fight from the reports. Quiet is useful when trying not to draw attention. Diesel engines of big trucks make enough noise to drowned out a .22 rimfire, even if other truckers were nearby.
