  1. Here’s some “factual” news:
The current Catholic chief occupant of the Vatican is a “fake” Pope…
Francis the lefty mule fits well with all the other “Fakes”: Obama, Merkel, Trudeau, Gore, Suzuki, CNN, CBC, NYT etc…
Globalism is the work of Satan and it looks like the red horned devil is finally getting his ass kicked …
Jesus, how great it Feels to be alive right now!

  2. This Papal Marxism is getting very tiresome … yet … when you have a Religion that believes the Pope to literally be GOD on earth (no different than the Japanese believing their Emperor to be “divine” … or the “divinity” of the Dali Llama) … then no true-believing Catholic can challenge a single word uttered by their Religion’s “God on earth”. I believe this Pope was hired in a cynical attempt to shore-up Latin American Catholic membership. Because Latin America is ALL that is left for the Catholic Church. The Priestly paedophilia all but completely erased Northern hemisphere church support. So the businessmen running the Vatican decided to hire, er … “accept God’s inspiration” to select a Latino Marxist Pope. Rather that “save” the Catholic Church … I believe this Pope will kill it. Dead. Just when the world needs a STRONG Catholic Church to stand as a bulwark against the invasion of radical Islam … the church goes and alienates even MORE Western church support. The Catholic “God” on earth isn’t looking too prescient to me … I don’t really expect God to back a corrupt, lying, self-serving, candidate like HER … or to offer apologetics for HER election LOSS. Hardly what I would call soul-saving activity.

  3. Just substitute DEMONcRAT/any leftard for fake news, and he is right, except maybe in the fact they are full of it,but do seem to enjoy spewing it.

  4. But, if you delude yourself to believe your own “fake news” is truth, then you can even achieve tax-free status to spread your lies to the gullible. The hypocrisy here is freaking mind-numbing.
This Pope is a monumental leftist *sshole and ignoramus and is definitely up there with the likes of Obama, Turdo, Soros and Merkel.

  5. The Pope lives in a walled country, allows only religious based immigration, allows only men to hold senior positions, allows only a select few to vote yet somehow lectures others on democracy.

  6. ‘I believe this Pope will kill it. Dead. Just when the world needs a STRONG Catholic Church to stand as a bulwark against the invasion of radical Islam’
Yes and what base is he affirming? Where are the Catholics that support this guy? In America exit polls showed Trump with strong support from Catholics.

  7. “Pope Francis compares media who spread fake news to people who are excited by feces”
I actually think that’s a fair assessment of the lieberal mainstream media, especially the CBC (they’re clearly overrun by fecal freaks). I doubt that’s how he meant it though.

  8. Nice coprophagous grin in that picture. Fake news? It reminds me of the time a pope traveled to Africa and, prior to conducting a mass, warned the faithful not to practice voodoo. Then he proceeded with the Eucharist. “Transubstantiation…is, according to the teaching of the Catholic Church, the change of substance by which the bread and the wine offered in the sacrifice of the sacrament of the Eucharist during the Mass, become, in reality, the body and blood of Jesus the Christ.” – Wikipedia

  9. One would hope the Pontiff had enough problems administering to the spiritual needs of his flock, without taking on their political beliefs. Every time he opens his mouth he seems to alienate more Catholics. Guess he didn’t read the leaked report of top Democrats pillorying American Catholics for their superstitious and backward ways. Maybe he thinks that was also fake news.

  10. Progressive nihilism is omnipresent in most institutions and the post-Christian residual (deity-based) theocracy of the RCC is no different, particularly with this pathetic South American Marxist-leaning Pope. It’s interesting that an institution mired in scandal involving those in robes buggering young boys has a lead spokesman suggesting that “others” are attracted to feces.
“Fake News” is newspeak for shutting down free speech by silencing the infidels. The downward sloping road to Serfdom has become quite slippery with progressives greasing it with green (CAGW) theocracy. The Pope is delusional if he thinks his old theocracy will come out “on top” this time.

  11. Speaking of the Pope, I noticed the other day that he has banned homos from the priesthood.
    Bwhaaaa!!!

  12. Spreading Christ’s teachings to all the nations of the world apparently doesn’t take much time so there’s lots of time left for petty politics. In large parts of Latin America, Protestants are not winning the battle with Catholicism using liberalism, they are winning with conservatism. As the Roman Church quits providing direction, others are quite willing to step up.

  13. Exactly! A previous Pope stood firm and helped defeat the Satanist scourge of communism and this Pope wants to bring it in.

  14. Now Kenji, I usually enjoy your contributions here @ SDA but I think you must have been poking around in your toilet to come up with this “fake” info on the Catholic Church. I have been a Catholic for 66 years and have NEVER believed the Pope is God. As well, I often challenge (with this Pope) many of his declarations and have yet to feel the need to confess this to my priest. The Popes opinion on science, sports, politics etc. are purely his own and we Catholics are at liberty to dissent. The Pope only speaks infallibly on matters of faith and morals and cannot change doctrine that has been upheld by previous Popes.
If you are going to pontificate, so to speak, on all things Catholic it might be wise to first get your facts straight. The Catechism of the Catholic Church might be a better resource than the MSM.

  15. Easy, Kenji; you’ll blow out an artery.
If Catholicism were what you have been told, you would be right in opposing it. But it isn’t. Do consider learning through critical analysis, and not simply accepting propaganda or the unthinking yelps of fashion.

  16. What Pope Francis actually said:
“Never one to shy away from a soundbite, Pope Francis said media organizations have a tendency to “coprophragy”, meaning that which is dirty and base, and that they shouldn’t exploit this instinct to generate sales and readers. …
The first, he said, is calumny, “to tell a lie about a person,” something particularly seen “in the world of politics.”
Then there’s defamation, in which news stories damage people’s reputations.
The pope said that “every person has the right to a good name, but perhaps in their previous life, or in their past life, or 10 years ago, had a problem with the law or in his family life…so, bringing this into the spotlight is grave, it damages, it cancels a person.”
To describe this form of defamation, he used an Argentine expression meaning, roughly, “to bring out a file” on someone, holding them responsible today for what they did a long time ago, even after they have been punished or repented of it.
The third temptation is “misinformation,” meaning, “faced with any situation, to say one part of the truth but not the other.”
“No! This is to misinform,” he said. “Because you give half of the truth to the viewer. And as such, he [or she] can’t come to a proper judgement about the whole truth.”
Misinformation, he said, is “probably the biggest damage a news organization can cause. Because it directs public opinion in one direction by removing a part of the truth.”
Francis said that media are also called to be clean and transparent, without falling into what he called “the disease of coprophilia: constantly looking to communicate scandal, communicate ugly things, even if they are true.”

How many times has the popular press covered so-called scandals about Trump and are still doing it?
It’s all very well and good to criticise Pope Francis’ often thoughtless remarks; it’s quite another to engage in “coprophragy” for cheap shots. That’s the sort of thing the left does.
Now, worry about his ill-informed views on immigration, not an observation about our so-called “journalistic betters” love of total pig crap.

  17. Reading his words, rather than the spin, he would seem to have a point.
Also, Richard North (EUReferendum blog) here in the UK used the word “coprophragy” to describe how the mainstream media pick up on some (usually complete cr*p) story and then go round and round, each outlet consuming and re-execrating it, only for it to be recycled by others, and so on. Rather a yuk analogy, but true.

  18. A drunk that smelled like a brewery got on a bus one day. He sat down next to a priest. The drunk’s shirt was stained, his face was full of bright red lipstick and he had a half-empty bottle of wine sticking out of his pocket. He opened his newspaper and started reading. A couple minutes later, he asked the priest, “Father, what causes arthritis?”
“Mister, it’s caused by loose living, being with cheap, wicked women, too much alcohol, and contempt for your fellow man,” the priest replied.
“Imagine that,” the drunk muttered. He returned to reading his paper.
The priest, thinking about what he had said, turned to the man and apologized: “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to come on so strong. How long have you had arthritis?”
“I don’t have arthritis, Father,” the drunk said, “but I just read in the Pope does.”

  19. A good reason for me to not even think about returning to the Roman Catholic Church.

  20. Sorry, that last line should read: ””I don’t have arthritis, Father,” the drunk said, “but I just read in the paper that the Pope does.”

  21. Pope Evita Bergoglio was elected by idiotic lefty cardinals.
They knew exactly what they were getting.
    It is all their fault.

  22. Wonder what Mr. Pope was thinking about using a term like coprophagy?
Dogs eat a lot of shit but humans not so much – at least out here in the buck brush I don’t think there’s too much consumed. Oh sure when your working cattle once in a while you inadvertently take on a little but you don’t go looking for it. Not sure what to think about Mr. Pope now?

  23. Actually, I think the pope is right on. He is not the most eloquent spokesman when talking to the press, and additionally it’s in Italian which makes it difficult for the MSM to translate prior to them putting their own spin on it. But, my take on it is that the headline should be: “POPE TELLS MSM TO EAT SHIT”

  24. In fairness to the Pope: I read the Pope’s full statements, and his comments did not specifically name any news organization. It just said that journalists should stop it with reporting scandal and stick to the news.
The Pope’s comments even mentioned that slandering a public figure, such as a politician, for uncivil or ungracious actions or comments in their past when in the present they may have reformed is a great example of promoting the eating of caca.
Which could be seen as a direct statement against news outlets such as WaPo and the whole p***ygate thing.
He didn’t say anything about reporting on possible criminal behavior however — and that has been a problem: the media (all kinds) has done a great job of leading people down a merry path of poo slinging, while actual evil, criminal deeds go unnoticed because people are so wrapped up in media poo slinging.
And thus far just about every news source has proven him correct.
