If it makes you richer for the short term, and it kills many innocents, then a global view would indicate that your personal pleasure is not more important than the many lives you have shortened. To a sociopath or psychopath, that doesn't matter.

I am surprised that anyone would find the party-media collusion surprising, maybe nobody really does. I sure don't, I would have expected it given that the media people are card carrying party members.

In Canada, I would be very surprised if there aren't similar links between the three major networks and the Liberal Party. What we see as end product is probably just a rehearsed version of informal chats over drinks or coffees the day before, as with all courtroom preparation.

If you've watched the hit show "Bull" about jury manipulation, this is certainly how things are done in general terms in the courtroom and if you think the media operate impartially and without detailed planning for desired results, then you are a very naive person. Journalists are for hire but the main payoff for them is emotional satisfaction when the "right" side wins and the "wrong" side loses. Was there somebody out there who thought these people just came into work every day and dealt with the news objectively? Nelson Muntz has a comment for you.

Any sort of "conservative" media (and they die so young) will operate the same way and their critics will point that out as lack of professionalism. It's only professional if liberals do it. And they are pretty good at worming their way into alternative sources like Fox which has become at least RINO if not Democrat in its recent coverage bias.

I'm not sure what an unbiased coverage of politics would even look like. CNN tries superficially by getting people to yell at each other but then they give their bias away with the way the overall flow is organized and even the most Trumpian guests can only comment on questions asked, unless they use their smarts, then as soon as they wander off the trail of bread crumbs the talking head shouts them down and goes to commercial break. This is the only way I can tell what's really going on, to watch the liberal networks and see what they won't cover. It's an art form that was handed down to us by more expert east European fellow travellers.

Forget bias, the Media is now on full collusion mode with liberals.
