This had better be good.
I’m giving up the rest of my Leafs game for this!
Strange that Trump’s noisy breathing has all but disappeared now that Fox is handling the debate.
Donald … more specifics … less generalities … please.
Second amendment and gun control: it is my unconfirmed understanding that a significant majority of the murderers using a gun are democrats or come from a democrat inclined family. If democrats are so in favor of reducing gun crime, all they need to do is unilaterally relinquish their weapons. Instant crime reduction. What are the odds of that happening?
HRC’s playing the victim card about Wikileaks and is now dragging Putin into the debate.
Talking of nuclear weapons, who made a fortune on giving uranium to the Russians?
She got EXPOSED … by Wikileaks … The DNC got exposed by Wikileaks … what else can she do but pivot and blame Putin. Putin hit the RESET button on Hitlery … she got burned
330 million of em and this is the best they got?
So sad for so many
Hillary is talking like a zombie. Is she wearing an earpiece?
Foundation talk seems to be putting her on her back foot.
Yup. Notice how she diverts the discussion into different directions whenever she’s asked questions about the foundation and her e-mails.
When in doubt, mumble, right?
I noticed that whenever Hell-Array was confronted with her policy issues, she went for Trump’s past and got away from answering the question. Not good!! Smokescreens are passé!!
Yeah, Gore accepted the outcome of the election without a peep.
Leafs game? You don’t set your standards high!
Don’t worry you can watch the Leafs lose some other day.
Hey!! I resemble that! I’m a Rider fan too!
It’s in the closing stages with no flies on her face. I concur with the no-fly zone comment.
Quit watching after ten minutes total shell game. For more years of idiocy. Can the right get their shit together soon before they end up like Canada? I doubt it.
i notice he sports an american flag pin and she has a thx 1138 suit.
Exactly. Chris also asked her about Bill’s problems with women and she did not answer but immediately deflected and Chris let her get away with it.
It is now over and I know I am biased, but I think Trump walked away with it.
Another victory on points, a bit wider than the second debate but still not enough.
No knockout punches, but I think he won on points. After all, he brought up some rather sensitive issues (e. g., voter fraud). She stood there either sputtering nonsense or evading the questions.
Yep, nailed Hillary on foreign policy…
“We had Mosul, you gave it away and now we’re fighting for Mosul again. The big winner is IRAN.”
Destroyed her on foreign policy, she has absolutely no standing or competence.
And mopped the floor with her on Syria…

Media headline tomorrow:
Racist Trump calls Mexicans: “Bad Hombres”
We all confirm our own biases when we watch these things. If you think your candidate is bombing a little, then they’re bombing A LOT. If you think your candidate is doing amazing, they’re actually doing good to ok. As objective as most us think we are, we’re not.
This is about the mind of an undecided voter, someone who has no hard allegiance and on that account this is likely a draw, which is a loss for Trump.
Yeah, I wish Trump had brought that up.
He DID cover a lot of territory, including the issue of the Democrats instigating violence at Trump rallies, for example, the Chicago rally that had to be cancelled. The Democrats made it look as though Bernie`s supporters caused the violence and chaos in Chicago. The Clinton operative, whose wife is a congressional Democrat, visited the White House 342 times since 2009, and has met with Obama there 47 times. He has had to resign because he was complicit in that deception. http://dailycaller.com/2016/10/18/exposed-dem-operative-who-oversaw-trump-rally-agitators-visited-white-house-342-times/
I`m SO glad that Trump brought up HAITI; even Chelsea Clinton was appalled by the lack of money, medical care and food supplies that Bill and Hillary sent to the Haitians.
The debates remind me of a line from the Robert Redford movie The Candidate. Peter Boyle plays the campaign manager for Redford’s character. Near the end of the flick, he says something like: “We haven’t made a lot of converts, but we sure made a lot of undecideds.”
I don’t think either candidate persuaded voters who already made up their minds.
Lousy editing on my part. What I should have written was:
I don’t think either candidate persuaded voters who haven’t made up their minds.
This is interesting.
Trump said among other things, when asked if he will concede or accept if Clinton wins, that he will see.
It is interesting how Brit Hume made a headline out of it as it being really bad. Juan Williams was seriously taken aback by Trump for the same statement and said that it “is not how the political game is played”.
It probably is going to be the big headline tomorrow.
Of course everybody has an opinion. Trouble is I can’t go on television to speak mine, so here it is.
Trump is not a politician, he does not have to “play the game” by their rules. He will have to, by himself, decide what to say and when and where.
Don’t think that the “journalists” point is even worth mentioning, however they think it is their job to masturbate people’s minds,
Gore actually sued he did not concede.
Well … I am definitely changing my vote, and will cast my vote for Hillary. Why ? Because of all the great work she has done for … the children, women, poor people, immigrants, pregnancy terminators, refugees, disabled children, Haitians, Mexicans, the middle class, college students, refugee children, native Americans, Medicare patients, victims of natural disasters, victims of gropers, victims of complicated blackberry devices, victims of pOleece brutality, victims of HATE crimes, the LGBTQ-QQ community, Obamakare patients. elderly widows, food stamp recipients, ex-mistresses of Bill Clinton … I could try to finish the complete list of ALL the people she has helped throughout her 30 year career … but I am not on the same “alert” meds that she was tonight. I could hardly keep up with the list of her self-proclaimed accomplishments.
330 million of em and this is the best they got?
So sad for so many`
I would take Trump ANY DAY over our Prime Minister Trudeau.
I`m old enough to remember his parents`SHAMBLES of a marriage and how that affected Canada.
Sure, everybody is gonna cheer lead TEAM R or TEAM D to a degree…
“on that account this is likely a draw, which is a loss for Trump”
I would disagree, Hillary was not long ago whining how is it that the onslaught of media crapulence hasn’t blown this guy out of the water.
I’m surprised the guy is still standing and holding his own.
Hillary comes across with antiseptic slick polish and spin in a lot of her answers not to mention ‘talk over’; Trump came across with heart and it shows.

Hillary tried to defend the Clinton Foundation – And it was terrible!
Then, Trump jumped in with this:
“You take a look at the people of Haiti. I was in Little Haiti the other day in Florida. And I want to tell you: They hate the Clintons!”
Boom!
Hillary lost that round!
And Frank Luntz’s focus group thought so, too.
Watch:
WOW!

It absolutely will be the headline tomorrow and for the next week as well. I wished he hadn’t said it and I think he repeated it, it just feeds a frenzy now that the sexual exploits are running out of steam.
Much better to have mentioned Gore’s reaction to the 2000 election,(as Harry points out), but it is easier to think of answers sitting in a living room.
Just relieved the debates are over, they really do not shed much light on policy alternatives.
Not to mention the mother sitting on a sidewalk and showing fur to the media!!
As all the liars and haters squeal with delight and derision about Trumps answer to the” would you accept the results of the election”, Clitigula did not answer the question at all, she didn’t stop her constant drivel from the start till the end and answered very few questions and especially the last one.
Yes, I agree. I love my sister, but we cannot discuss politics without risking alienation from each other. Neither of us have a vote in this election. I watched this debate trying to view it as my sister and I can see why she would say Hillbat won easily.
For myself, Donald kept his cool and I was especially pleased with his foreign affairs answers. Hillary was not strong (to me) and looked as if she would collapse if this went on for another 30 min. It wasn’t the best for either and the spin already starts on CNN how Trump offended women, Latinos and who knows.
Moderator was much better than past debates though. Wish so badly that I got FOXNN.
Good point. Harry.
🙂 Her eyes get wonky when she`s rattled.
if memory serves Gore did concede, then said he didn’t. then he sued.
then he invented the internet and made money selling Michael Mann’s hockey stick.
I don’t think either candidate persuaded voters who already made up their minds.
Exactly true! Nobody is likely to change their mind at this point. The sooner it’s over the better. The important question is if the loosing side will accept the results the morning after.
Back in the day, a neighbour became involved at a national level with something cultural. The mutterings we got were that all the Trudeau Liberals cared about was that the artist be from Quebec. It did not matter how distinguished the person was, only if said person was Quebecois/Quebecoise. This became very frustrating. When the marriage blew up, said neighbour was somewhat less than sympathetic, only saying that Mme Trudeau’s behaviour was perfect revenge on M Trudeau, and he deserved it.
Need I say we were Westerners?
If Trump loses, he likely will leave it at that.
If it’s HRC, I’m not so sure. She feels entitled to the job and, as we’ve already seen, no tactic would be too low or too sleazy to be used.
Yes, Margaret acted out her immaturity for the world to see. Pierre inflicted a physical beating on her, with both of them wrestling on a rug on the floor. I`m waiting for Sophie to pine for freedom..:)
I think he could have been more diplomatic — I will accept the results of an honest election, and the American people deserve an honest election. They do not deserve to have their votes cancelled out by thousands of illegal voters.
Of course the media is outraged by this, but Trump has put them on notice — if there is evidence of fraud, he is not going to look the other way.
A wild thought crossed my mind, and not sure where else to put it, so here goes:
Everyone wonders how the two finalists for the leadership of the USA could wind up being these two nut-jobs. Is it possible that they were placed in this position as a construct, so that whoever follows Mr. Obama won’t show him up so badly?
Just spitballin’.
Likely true, but will Americans accept the results in a campaign that has caused more extreme polarization than any previous election?
Rex summed it up it well: http://www.cbc.ca/player/play/776723011741
I expect that the usual family violence that goes with every American turkey day will be even more intense this year.
So Hillary wants to impose gun restrictions to save us from Maggie Simpson?
“Trump said among other things, when asked if he will concede or accept if Clinton wins, that he will see.”
Exactly. This will be the headline in every liberal media and Megan Kelley will talk her whole hour about it. Although to be fair, Megan did not let Donna Brazzile off the hook on who gave her the questions in advance on the previous debate.
