The Pope is out of the realm of reality. That's the kindest remark I can make. Sadly he's right up there with most, if not all, of the leaders of our Western democracies.

Shortly after he became pope, Francis showed that he was not Christian. Then he started to indicate that he wasn't catholic either. Now he is starting to show that he is not sane.

Pope Benedict challenged Muslim theologians to justify spreading their religion by violence, the Regenburg lecture.

This in the historical context of 270 million slaughtered in the name of the texts of Islamic Sharia explicitly ordering that.

Pope Francis statement, in effect, denies the moral and theological challenge issued by his predecessor Pope Benedict.

Last July, there was a Muslims against I.S.I.S. demonstration in Toronto.

50 Muslims showed up.

Do most Muslims in Canada want to live w/o Sharia law and in modernity?

Yes, but rejecting orthodox Islam is defined as apostasy, the penalty for which includes death.

They live in fear of orthodox Muslims in Canada intimidating them to live under orthodox Islam here.

o8.7 Reliance of the Traveler (official Sharia law reference)defining apostasy includes:

(7) To deny any verse of the Koran or anything which by scholarly consensus (def: b&) belongs to it, or to add a verse that does not belong to it."

The modern or liberal or secular Muslims see Canadian politicians, media and schools bowing to Sharia law.

Until they see Canadian government declaring the M.B. a terrorist organization and shutting down their mosques and that of the Salafists, as per the Senate Report on Terrorism's recommendations.

They'll feel forsaken here.

They'll live in fear in Canada as they did in Muslim countries under Sharia.

Well, let's not be too hard on the old pope. After all, he has taken the same route as all of the leaders of the other mainstream Christian religions: cowardice, relativism, and submission.
