The Kardashian Years at 24 Sussex Drive: 2015 - ????

It's quite fascinating to watch the media fawn all over our frequently shirtless Prime Minister. Quite a contrast from the mocking that Vladimir Putin has received for doing precisely the same thing. It would be interesting to do a study into how many Canadian "journalists" originally wanted to pursue a career in the public relations department of the Liberal Party of Canada.

To be honest Putin's shirtless pics intent is to show power and strength while trudeau's pics are meant to get the ladies and girly men to swoon.

Remember how they mocked Stockwell Day for looking great in a wetsuit and arriving on a Jet Ski when he was running for leadership of the newly formed Canadian Alliance Party?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockwell_Day#Leadership_of_the_Canadian_Alliance

I had forgotten about that but yes, that's true. It's astounding to me how the media's views are completely controlled by party politics:
- Conservatives: All bad, all the time.
- Liberals: All good, all the time.

:-(

God help us all. Another tongue-bath from the mainstream media, who equate physical attractiveness with competence.

At least during the original Trudeaumania, PET kept his clothes on in public. Mind you, after he married that airhead flower child, he grew his hair longer to the point that he started looking like a hippie.

But, even then, the media (before it became a political party) never criticized him.

I remember chatting with a journalism student during my university years (the 80s) and asking him why he selected journalism as a major. His answer was that he wanted to make a difference and to make the world a better place. I thought nothing of it at the time, but ober the years I have grown to realize that it was my first recognizable encounter with what we now call a SJW... or maybe, as they are wont to say in the US, a Democrat with a byline. Even thirty years ago there were people getting into journalism for the narrative rather than the truth. IDK, maybe it's always been like that, but it sure seems worse now.

"It would be interesting to do a study into how many Canadian "journalists" originally wanted to pursue a career in the public relations department of the Liberal Party of Canada."

If it wasn't their intent to pursue a career in the public relations department of the LPC or the NDP (fixed your omission), it would have only taken the first lecture or two to realize that it's what they were all being "trained" for and transfer into something more constructive like, well,...anything.

I find it hard to imagine what they do a J-Schools as I can't see evidence of requiring any training. Perhaps they start at basic Kindergarten level sentence structure such as: "Conservative poopy pants and Liberal nice" and build on that premise. Still, after a week or two they would have achieved a level that passes for at least CBC sophistication of Lib-Left cheer-leading. I suppose that there may be students with a talent for writing that they would have to mold into scribblers of unreadable bilge that would take some time. Given that it's now just a part of the cultural vandalism industry, this would make sense.

Maybe they were inspired by Woodward and Bernstein. After all, if the dogged determination of those two to find the truth could cause an American president to eventually leave office by resigning, why shouldn't some SJW journalist change the world, or so they think?

Watch a tv clip of bongo at the pride less parade in Vancouver. His wife was screaming like a school gurl. She must be just as goofy as he is.

"...do a study into how many Canadian "journalists" originally wanted to pursue a career in the public relations department of the Liberal Party of Canada."

Why a "study"? Just count the Canadian journalists. Close enough.

Soapy impresses me as someone who always dreamed of being a princess ever since she was a little girl. Now that she's the wife of a prime minister (albeit in name only, it seems), her dream has come true.

Both of them need to grow up.

With the PM being a Feminist, the headline is inaccurate,it s/b "PM goes Topless", and I'm guessing most days he also goes bra-less.

........a FAIRY princess.......she has succeeded in that, along with the rest of the Unicorn Pixie Dust LIEberal following.

The media? People watch that shite? and believe it? Deleted from dial, the broadcasts, especially at the local level, seems written for 5 year olds, or senile old gubermint workers who believe anything.

Canadian Media Guild?
Pretty hard to avoid being seen as a Presstitute when every thing you do announces your nature.
If we had any comedians in Canada, the material offered by our press ,tongue bathing their pretty boy, would be priceless.
Honestly you could not make up, this insipid smarmy bunch, as an act of fiction.

Sunni Ways.

Oz, I was going to mention that earlier but didn't get to it. Yes it was bloody disgraceful the foolish bast ards in the media and their idiocy. Throw in this hour has 22 minutes and the air farce and the whole damn thing was a farce. They thought that Day might gain traction so the idiots do what all commies do, they denigrate the potential opponent. Canadians are so damn stupid I am tired of listening to and reading most of what is said.

I think the "teenager" PM's behavior speaks volumes to our electorate

Man Tart.

Canadians are so damn stupid I am tired of listening to and reading most of what is said.

Yup. I don't listen to any of it and reading what shows up on SDA covers it adequately.

Yup. I remember when the "Mop and Pail" used to be worth reading. I just skim the headlines on its website and I have all the information I need.

I'm reminded of the novel "Fahrenheit 451" and the movie made from it. The main character, Guy Montag, is a fireman but his job is to burn books. His wife, if she isn't zonked on one substance or another, spends her day constantly glued to the telly, absorbing whatever tripe that it dispenses.

Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Somewhere from the beyond, I can imagine Ray Bradbury saying to us: "I told you so."

As for me ... I much prefer shirtless photos of Melania Trump ... not that there's anything wrong with sporting wood over photos of the boy PM ... I guess ?

It seems we have elected David Hasselhoff as our PM. A neighbour of mine was a Liberal speech writer. He wrote Paul Martin's speeches (he wasn't very good). He liked to watch Baywatch to see DH walking around with a surfboard shirtless. I haven't talked to him in close to a decade but I am sure he is very happy now.

Actually I'm more concerned with his being shiftless than shirtless, but his policies scare me s**tless.

I think Melania Trump would be a very classy First Lady.

The Media's constant PR campaign for PM Clownypants is really appropriate considering that Trudeautard is an imbecile with a name and his followers both within the Media and outside are just as dumb as he is... Its a good distraction away from reality, like going to the zoo or doing meth. Meanwhile PM Butt governs from behind the curtain and takes a break from writing scripts for PM Clownypants to regurgitate. Walking around like a shirtless trust fund jag-off without a care in the world is what Clownypanys would be doing whether he was playing the role of PM of Trudopiastan or not, the only difference is that the Media are there to capture every somersault and smell every fart... sure beats working for a living. Just a dumb shit celebrated and promoted by other dumb shits.

I took delight in the howls of betrayal over at rabble when his government did not do what they promised. Easy to make promises in election, governance is much harder.

That's because (the real) Prime Minister Buttshead is too busy figuring out ways to punish Alberta for being, well, Alberta.

Actually running the country takes time, patience, and thought. It's more fun to wage war on the western colonies, particularly the rich ones that had the audacity to not vote Liberal in overwhelming numbers.

When I saw the "PM topless" headline I was scared to click through in case it was Theresa May.

May have preferred it. His dial is photogenic but he looks both skinny and flabby at the same time.

A slight aside. Apparently Butts has been shunted aside and Chretien is calling many of the shots with a direct phone line to his home , so there may some hope yet. At least Chretien has some brains and always disliked Trudeau Sr. and likely ditto for Junior.

Bingo! And, well said sir. You nailed exactly what is going on.

"At least Chretien has some brains and always disliked Trudeau Sr. and likely ditto for Junior."

Yes, the Little Liar From Shawinigan was a cunning stunt myster.
I had not heard that he disliked Pierre, being that he was esteemed to be one of the "Three Wise Men" to come out of Lester Pierson's cabinet.(Key-Beckers All)

Maybe it was because Olde Screw Face was jealous that the others were prettier that he, and he resents that Zoolander was elected on his cheesecake credentials alone.

We have our very own Forrest Gump who always manages to get his face into the picture complete with idiot grin or puzzled expression. Instead of prime-ministerial he's like a prime-mascot for the legion of low information voters who put him there.

Zoolander is a sockpuppet, a front for the real power brokers.
They pushed Zoolander on the clueless masses for his face, his hair, and mainly for his family name which polls widely promoted told all Canadians that Trudeau sr., was the greatest Canadian of the 20th century.(according to Ontarians)
Greater even than Banting, the man who saved countless lives world wide by discovering insulin.

Any real journalist in Canada would ignore the antics of the Liberal Party mascot and look into whatever Gerald Butts and Omar Alghabra are up to...

But Justin is PM in name only - he doesn't actually do any work or contribute to party platform. When he can manage it, it is put in front of cameras and repeats the things he has memorized and of course the media go ga-ga over anything her says (because he has such profound wisdom).

The really sad part of this is the number of voters who still think he is a great and deep thinker.
