This just re-inforces the fringiness of the Watermelon Party, who can, and do, call themselves anything they want, depending on their odd stance.

Remember, they are not left or right, they are forward......

They believe in wymyn's rights, gay rights, etc, but, decry the only democratic state in the ME, that not only supports wymyn's and gay rights, but also open homosexuality AND gay marriage. The remarkable irony here, is, the BDS nutters support a state that rejects wymyn's rights and gay rights.

I've yet to hear a Watermelon square that circle yet........total and complete hypocrisy

Think American Leftist funds(Soros) when Leftist Canadian spearheads hold conventions.
Americans like Soros and Gore(et al) have no qualms spending money to keep Canada and Canadians from harvesting our God given bounty and using it to create Canadian jobs and Canadian profits.
We are 1/10th of American anything and they keep us down, down, down, doobee do down down. Getting up is hard to do, when your market is 80% American.

I work in the Alberta Energy sector as a consultant. When Albertans went looking for funding back in the '20s to jump start our energy sector they went to Eastern Canada.(that's what Albertans call it and I'm an Albertan so that's what I call it)

These Easterners told those Albertan farmers(that's what they mostly were, farmers) to pound sand, and do you know who shared these Alberta farmers' vision for the future of the Alberta Oil&Gas sector? A group of American businesses now referred to as the Seven Sisters. That's who.

Yeah, I know history and you do not know me.

Don't forget that the Americans had a lot of experience in exploration, production, and refining, so they would have been a logical source of funding.

I used to work in the business myself and most of the codes and standards are based on what's used in the American industry.

Uh, not everybody. After all, the elites should never be made to suffer and, therefore, deserve the best of everything.
