I have a friend who invented this many years ago. He buys fancy coveralls that race car drivers and their crews wear, less the Quaker State, Firestone or STP patches. He buys assorted colors, blue, white, red, green etc. He takes them to a seamstress and has her take the coveralls apart at the waist. He sews a red to on a blue bottom, or a white top on a green bottom. Unless you look closely, you'd swear it's a red shirt with blue pants etc. I'm not at liberty to print his name, however if I was, and if you lived in Regina, you'd know who he is, he is quite a prominent figure.

The passing of an era.....

Marni Nixon may well have pioneered "lip-synching" before the term even existed. A lot of movie musicals may never have been made without her contributions. Many film actors can't sing very well, so while they mouthed the words on screen, it was her voice that viewers heard.

I happen to own two of them. They can self-fornicate if they think I'm going to turn them in without being paid the retail value of them. This is theft, pure and simple.

I do not have any of these mags since I really do not like the 10/22, can quite say why, but it never felt right to me. For rimfire I was always partial to Marlin at the lower end and CZ at the higher end.

But I do not agree that the state should have a right to take them away period, with or without compensation. If they want to prohibit further sale of these, then, it would be idiotic but at least within the retarded state's right. However, any confiscation of legally obtained product with or without compensation is a violation of property rights (yes I know we do not have these in Trudeapia, but these are fundamental human rights period).

The point I was trying to make is that sewing garments together to make two tone OVERALLS or two piece suits is not new.

A suit can be ONE piece. What is a swimsuit if not ONE pair of shorts worn in the water??

As for houses and trailers, if I lift a two bedroom bungalow, install a hitch on it and put wheels under it, it could become a trailer. And if I take the hitch and wheels away from a trailer (correct term mobile home) and mount it on a concrete basement, it could be classified a house.

If I install wheels on my running shoes, they could become roller skates.

If I take the wheels off my skateboard, it could become a snowboard.

If I add blades under a skateboard, it could still be a skateboard, on ice of course.

Should I continue??

I really do not want to argue over it. This isn't even a matter of taste as much as it is a matter of pretense. If you do not fins it ridiculous then peace be with you.
