I was taught to save a percentage of my income for my childrens education and my retirement . It was a sacrifice. But I was rewarded. I put my kids through university who are now educated independent wage earners with only debts they know how to manage. I have 60 year old relatives living pay check to pay check with uneducated children carrying the torch of ignorance forward. They are waiting for the saver to save the dippers. Good Luck with that.

No worries. Hillary will promise to forgive loans to help win election. No chance of administrators or profs salaries going down of course to reduce tuition fees.

The VERY FIRST thing Obama did after taking office was to have the Federal Gov't. take over ALL educational lending. What Obama did was to effectively create a new WELFARE program for the "urban" poor. Now ... they could simply go to beauty college and whatnot, to collect living expenses $$$ from the Federal Gov't. The vast flow of $$$ into Universities has created a Golden Age for professor salaries and ushered in an incomparable building boom.

My youngest son's tuition at UCLA was raised in every-single-semester (except one) during his years there. By contrast, my daughter had her tuition raised only ONCE during her previous tenure at UCLA.

I fully expect Obama to waive all student loan debt before he leaves office. If not ... Hillary surely will. After all ... we NEED more "Gender Studies" graduates in our society.
